LG :: EnV2 Snapped In Half / Trying To Recover MMS
Jul 12, 2010
My EnV2 snapped in half and I am trying to recover picture messages I had saved on my phone. My service provider is Verizon, but I don't have any kind of warranty or anything special left on it. I am able to access my phone with bitpim but I can only recover SMS and saved pictures. Does anybody know how I can recover picture messages, preferably without having the Verizon guy go through my phone. But if that is the only option than I am find as long as I have the messages in the end.
Does any one know how can I recover the pics from an old phone that its broken in half? Its a Samsung SGH-T509 and it wont turn on. Does it have like an internal memory or something I can use?
Although I got my S312 a week ago it feels really nice in hand and really expensive but still like plastic, I do own a Elm, X10. The Elm was just given new to me from Vodafone, so yeah and the X10 is my general phone, but I need my S312 as it is my spare phone or a phone that I use at times when the X10 is ruined (hopefully never) or I am going somewhere where I would never dare bring my X10.
Its my spare phone and no being able to click ok / middle / select is annoying theres no point keeping the phone, so how to I place the middle button back on, I tried semi-super glue (like the ones you get in model sets) and that didn't work (just made it smell ) and I tried double sided tape, it worked but it fell off because the tape is slightly bigger and because it increased the hight about 1cm then it should be so when I click it it will fall off. How do I fix it, here are some shots.
Recently i was going through all of my photos - older ones and the new ones. I did notice, that older pictures are bigger in size than those i snapped recently. I'm talking about oversampled ones (5 MP). They used to be ~1.6-2.3 mb size, now they are 600-800 kb. Am i doing something wrong? I'm copying my photos directly from the phone, so there is no compression going on.
I extracted the MMS folder from my EnV2 using bitpim to try and look at my picture messages. My EnV2 is snapped in half and it is impossible to see the pictures. All I want is the pictures. I have searched around a lot and it seems like the only way to do this is to send the .PDU files (MMS messages) to my new phone using the computer (I have reoccuringly seen programs like MMS Toolkit). Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? My new phone is the Moto Droid and my carriers were and are Verizon.
can someone help me please? I've tried everything, even tried re downloading it, when doing that, it shows no items found!is there a possible way to get it back? since I used it a lot, and now it doesn't even show up!
One of my kids accidentally erased a ton o'data from my LG LX-9100.I use Bitpim and I understand the filesystem, but I do not know how it manages deleted files - is it similar to a Windows/DOS filesystem where deleted files don't actually get removed but have index/pointer access changes, leaving the file hidden on the 'drive'? My backup is too old (yep - yay for me ) so I'm looking for any advice on how the data source is managed. I'd love to get some pics back and some old texts.
My daughter recently inherited an env2.In playing around with the phone, she somehow "hid" all of the icons/indicators (battery, 1x and EVDO).I cannot figure out what she did. I've tried a battery pull to no avail. Any idea of how to "unhide" these?
SO EVERYONE CAN SHUT IT. Seriously guys chill the hell out. This happens to me on my LG EnV2 if I hold it the wrong way near the top of the phone. EVERY TIME. IT CAN HAPPEN WITH ANY PHONE ON ANY NETWORK.I mean it's just absurd what is going on here on these message boards.
I've got a VX 9100, and I'm trying to transfer a bunch of mp3s to my phone via card. It is a new 4 gb card. I formatted it, and then I drag-and-dropped a bunch (just over 500) of mp3s onto the card. I put the card into the phone, and it finds many of the mp3s, but not all of them. Moreover, it seems to lose more and more of the mp3s the further into the album list it goes.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The files do appear to be on the memory card. Are there hard-wired limits to the number of songs on an album? The number of songs on a card? Also, there's not by any chance any third-party or replacement mp3 players for the VX9100 are there? I'd like to be able to resume playing where I was, and as best I can tell, this phone doesn't do that generally (though it may do it when you get interrupted by phone call).
His text message gets interrupted halfway through by an old message he sent before (be it a previous message from a few minutes ago or from weeks ago!) It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. It's getting so frustrating cos I have to keep asking him to text me again and a lot of the time I just get another 'cracked' text!
My gf's Keybo bit the dust. The main display (inside) doesn't work anymore, but everything else does. Can anyone guide me how to wipe the phone without being able to see the main screen? Would like to sell it for parts on eBay.The outside display works but that doesn't have all the menu options.
Half of the screen(diagonally half) is white/grey with a black splotch and the other half you can barely read it but it still works aside from the screen "jumping" up and down, having a plaid design to it that keeps shaking and keeps changing colors but I don't know whether it has water in it or not or what the problem is!
I accidentally uninstalled one of the components of an app (dictionary) which came with the phone, which rendered it unusable (keep saying word base missing), but it's fine as I have installed the nokia dictionary. The problem is: How do I remove the half-dead app? I can't uninstall it for some reason, I can't remove it from my list of apps, Or if Nokia (Nokia Taiwan ) would kindly provide me a SIS for me to re-install, that would be great too.
Over night my bb 9700 shut off. when i tried to turn it on, it didnt come on. so i did the battery pull. bb starts to reboot but got half way and went to a white screen. so i do another battery pull and it comes up white screen. another battery pull, starts to reboot and half way through it turns off completely. i am not getting an error message. i have not upgraded my os, have not added anything new to it for over two or three weeks. bb was working great when i went to sleep.
Today suddenly my wallpaper become half black. I tried battery pulling changing the wallpaper but still it's left side is black. But it occurs only on the wallpaper i can use all my screen.
My blackberry curve screen has gone white at the the bottom until about half way up and there are vertical colored lines going through it. I am still able to use it.
I got my second s6, I said I would give it another chance; and now, half of my screen is pink, is there a fix for this?I will try to replace it if I can Note: the pink tint is only see able from the front of the display, from the sides is white..
Teenage daughter has an M9 and the camera occasionally takes a picture and when saved, only the top half of the photo is shown and saved. Sometimes the lower portion, which can vary from 50-80% of the original photo is white; other times it is gray. Sometimes the lower half of the photo is a ghost from another photo.
Every time I rotate the screen sideways, the keyboard is split in half by a big empty gray space in the middle, and now I have two space bars and the rest of the keys are either on the left or the right side of the screen. I have had this phone since like the first week after its release, and the problem only started a little over a month ago. No matter what I do, nothing has gotten rid of it. Is it a hardware problem or something? If this issue is solely because of the phone and has nothing to do with me, does this thing have a factory warranty I can use to get a free replacement? Would AT&T replace it even without insurance on it?
I had my iPhone 4s for about 1week (1st ever Apple product) before upgrading to iOS5.1. I'm not sure if it was possible before the upgrade but is it possible now to zoom into a photo more than about half way?
I have also noticed the lag that is present after the upgrade, both with typing and zooming, and yes I have done a complete phone reset.
Uhmm From holding my phone to portrait position, then to landscape after i click the camera it started but kinda half, half is what is in from of the lens*caputuring, but other 1/4 half isnt camera its just a black blank part, then later the camera become whole screen.is this alright?? sory no idea, noob if this is alright to the phone.
I dropped my iPhone & half of my screen when black. The other half is not completely clear, but it's not awful. Everything is working perfectly fine other than the fact that the entire left side of my screen is black. Can I fix it myself or do I have to take it to my Verizon store to be fixed? (and pressing the home and lock screen buttons for 10-20 seconds does NOT work).
