Aug 11, 2010I extracted the MMS folder from my EnV2 using bitpim to try and look at my picture messages. My EnV2 is snapped in half and it is impossible to see the pictures. All I want is the pictures. I have searched around a lot and it seems like the only way to do this is to send the .PDU files (MMS messages) to my new phone using the computer (I have reoccuringly seen programs like MMS Toolkit). Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? My new phone is the Moto Droid and my carriers were and are Verizon.

Feb 6, 2010One of my kids accidentally erased a ton o'data from my LG LX-9100.I use Bitpim and I understand the filesystem, but I do not know how it manages deleted files - is it similar to a Windows/DOS filesystem where deleted files don't actually get removed but have index/pointer access changes, leaving the file hidden on the 'drive'? My backup is too old (yep - yay for me ) so I'm looking for any advice on how the data source is managed. I'd love to get some pics back and some old texts.

Jul 12, 2010My EnV2 snapped in half and I am trying to recover picture messages I had saved on my phone. My service provider is Verizon, but I don't have any kind of warranty or anything special left on it. I am able to access my phone with bitpim but I can only recover SMS and saved pictures. Does anybody know how I can recover picture messages, preferably without having the Verizon guy go through my phone. But if that is the only option than I am find as long as I have the messages in the end.

Jan 12, 2010I've got a VX 9100, and I'm trying to transfer a bunch of mp3s to my phone via card. It is a new 4 gb card. I formatted it, and then I drag-and-dropped a bunch (just over 500) of mp3s onto the card. I put the card into the phone, and it finds many of the mp3s, but not all of them. Moreover, it seems to lose more and more of the mp3s the further into the album list it goes.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The files do appear to be on the memory card.Are there hard-wired limits to the number of songs on an album? The number of songs on a card?Also, there's not by any chance any third-party or replacement mp3 players for the VX9100 are there? I'd like to be able to resume playing where I was, and as best I can tell, this phone doesn't do that generally (though it may do it when you get interrupted by phone call).
LG :: Env2 / Keybo Main Display (inside) Doesn't Work Anymore

Would like to sell it for parts on eBay.The outside display works but that doesn't have all the menu options.

Jul 19, 2014I got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.

Feb 13, 2011I had a contract with Vodafone over 2 years ago and decided on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 handset . After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

"Plane mode" is unfortunately not an option as it doesn't allow listening to the radio... (whereas it allows you to connect yourself to a Wi-fi network or to receive GPS signals, for instance) Would be great if there was a widget "Enable/Disable GSM networks" or something like that, as there is for other functions... but I couldn't find such a thing.
X10 Not Turning On At All

Apr 7, 2010ive had my n95 for a couple of trouble free years now, until 3 weeks ago i got a txt and tried to read it when my phone just started turning itself on and off with no input from me or ability to stop it, or access any function
given it full charge no change cannot access any function.
removed battery and sin, no joy.
left sim out, no joy.
went to vodafone shop, they said i had to install software from nokia, did that, no joy.
can only stop it from switching on and off by removing battery, can't turn it off with on/off button.
dug out old 6230i and put sim in that, left n95 8gb switched off and on charge for a week got a couple off buttons to beep when 1st switched on, looks like date and time need resetting.
Can't think of anything else, have all my numbers for mates, football and work, diary dates and info and loads of pictures and video clips can't afford to loose any really.
vodafone said that they could send it off to repair shop but i would loose everything and i would have to pay for the privilege.

I therefore thought it may require a new battery so brought a new battery - was fine for 5 hrs and then started doing it again!
it is quite old now and am due an upgrade at the end of August which is so annoying. Vodafone won't let me upgrade early either. If no-one knows am going into a vodafone store on Saturday to see of they can test it!

Sep 22, 2011So like a month ago my phone crashed ( i dont know why) then when i tried restarting it didnt. however if i put it in charging then after 3-4 hours it started up.After this i avoided restarting because this lead me to wait 4-5 hours and sometimes even 6 hours. Yesterday it crashed and i pluged it in charging it didnt turn on the entire night ( i was playing cod and so was awake the whole night ) even PC companion and Update service didnt help.
