For some reason my phone keeps turning off and on?
Don't want to erase the phone because I have hundreds of photos I'd like to keep but can't dropbox them or transfer them with a laptop because it doesn't stay on long enough.
Is there any way of getting the photos??
i had my new torch just over a week ago and recently its started too turn off and freeze, yesterday it froze so i took the battery out and tried resetting it, now it wont turn back on?

View 5 Replies View RelatedHaving serious issues with my Curve lately. It started freezing occasionally so I would do as the forums said and take out the battery which would solve it for a while. Now, however, even when I do that and turn it back on the phone instantly freezes with messages coming through but the little timer is just constantly turning in the center of the screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.
I had a contract with Vodafone over 2 years ago and decided on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 handset . After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

"Plane mode" is unfortunately not an option as it doesn't allow listening to the radio... (whereas it allows you to connect yourself to a Wi-fi network or to receive GPS signals, for instance) Would be great if there was a widget "Enable/Disable GSM networks" or something like that, as there is for other functions... but I couldn't find such a thing.
I just got an e63 and for the most part, it's a great phone and I love it. However, when I am at home.. it constantly freezes while I compose a text and then restarts. That, or it just restarts over and over while I am not even touching it.I keep trying to hard reset it.. so I type in that code and it says "requesting..." and then says "request not complete".It's weird because the ONLY time it acts this way.. is when I'm at home.. any other place, it's perfectly fine. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my Nokia e72 in Israel, from local cellular company called Cellcom (Cellcom Israel Ltd).I bought the phone about a week ago and almost instantly it started to make a problems (restarts).I got back to Cellcom store and asked to fix or replace phone or it's software. The answer that I got from Cellcom representatives was funny: Nokia e72 has to null himself from time to time, and it's known issue (so they say that it's normal), and it's all what they can do.The bottom line, they said that restarts and closing applications it is the way that e72 should work
After long conversation they agree to check it in their service labs.. Today I got it back, they told that the phone was reset to default settings and it works now as it have to work (on their opinion).All problems persist, phone may close one of the applications unexpectedly or simple restarts and closing all open applications.

My phone battery died at the weekend and I have now connected it to my computer to charge, however it is not turning on. The red light is on constantly. I have tried removing the battery (the red light goes off) to reset the phone but it has not worked.

When I next check my phone the LED light was permanatly stuck on and the battery really quickly drained so I charged it up but it will only charge to 50% and the light is still on, I've pulled out the battery and left it.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi've had my Blackberry torch for less than 24 hours and i am already having problems. It was working fine until i had synced some music onto it from my pc. When i disconnected it, it flashed red in the LED indicator and turned off then rebooted. Problem is, it will reboot then turn on and verify the security software, it will stay on for about 7 seconds, then the LED flashes again, turns off, reboots and does the whole thing over and over continuously. However, when i connect it to the computer in the few seconds it is actually on, it appears to work fine and I don't have this problem at all. It starts again as soon as i take the USB out though. Oh, and I have done a battery pull & it didn't make a difference & the phone is 100% charged.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI will sometimes be redirected to the play store looking at some random app, but usually chrome opens up to some page along the lines of "congratulations you've won!" or "warning! your phone has a virus" etc.. This has been going on for months and I'm still not sure what triggers it. It usually happens right when I open up an app (no specific one, happens to all of them as far as I can tell) or after I've been using an app for a short amount of time, or when I'm using chrome.So far I have tried clearing the cache and data on chrome and running an addons detector, both to no avail. (no problematic apps were detected)

View 13 Replies View RelatedSo last night I plugged in my HTC One M7 into the charger. I did not use the phone for the day and the last time I checked it was at 21% battery life. When I woke up in the morning to check on the phone, the red light was still on indicating it was still being charged.
I removed the charger from the phone, but the red light is still on and when I tried to turn on the phone by holding the power button, only the back and home button flash but the screen is blank. The phone has been like this for the past 4 hours and I'm not sure what I should do next.
iOS 5.1 SMS crashes constantly and when I hit the lock screen camera it starts to go to the camera then it doesn't. I have no access to the lock screen camera now. Additionally over all performance has been severely deminished. A lot more freezing.

My iPhone 3g has been constantly crashing and I know they're kernel panics, but nothing will fix it. I recently removed the jailbreak and completely restored it. I've tried restoring it as a new phone and backing it up and I've even removed all my apps and cleared it. And it also keeps looping the start up screen and ocasionally enters the recovery mode screen.Will Apple will replace it?? even though I still pay the bill, it was given to me, I didn't purchase it, does that matter?

my sons curve 9300 takes forever to boot up and when it does there is a small square box in the middle of the screen with a hand in it rotating as if its loading something ,it does this constantly making the phone unuseable.desktop manager tries to connect to the phone but nothing happens.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am on my third Blackberry 8520 and keep having the same problem. Every two or three days it freezes. The only way to "fix" this is to take the battery out and put it back it. Two or three days later, it will freeze and I have to do it again. This process also drains my battery life. I don't have many applications installed and the ones I do have come only from Blackberry App World. I also receive an App Error 523 message. I have called my carrier and gone through the different steps they recommend to solve this problem. None work. I am very dissatisfied and have come to the conclusion that the 8520 and all Curves are garbage and I am seriously considering leaving Blackberry. This also happened to me and other friends owned 8300.

My mobile internet still works and when this is on is usually shows that I have signal, but still can't make calls. Really starting to big me now, what can I do? I've reset all settings, reset network, turned airplane mode on and off, I've taken Sim out n put it back in, I've restored it. I've done everything all the online info says to do but it hasn't worked..

I've set up my E75 to use Spotify Mobile over wifi to synchronize music without going over the 3G-net costing lots.But it drops the connection constantly and it seems to coincide pretty much with the powersave functionality of the phone.
-Phone firmware is 201.12.01
-The connection is a WPA2-PSK to a Netgear WGR614
-I have tried various channles but the problem remains.
-I have tried changing to WPA-PSK and Unprotected, but to no good.
-Signalstrength of wireless connection reports around 70-80%.
-If there are no active traffic on connection it seems to stay online but when the traffic start the connection drops.
My e72 constantly restarts by itself - I cannot find reason why it happens - sometimes phone restarts when i type sms, sometimes when I unlock phone and so one, fw = 022.007, twice I made hard reset (restored backup notices, calendar, contacts) but this did not help what can I try else?
Nokia N97 is the problem, which freeze much if someone can help me.

This is like on messaging, its hanging, and if it hangs, the only thing that helps is to restart the device.I have made a software update after i got it, but that dindt help.The device is not always like that, somedays it works fine, but then it can have a day with hanging and freezing the whole time.I have not installed any 3PD software.
