My phone battery died at the weekend and I have now connected it to my computer to charge, however it is not turning on. The red light is on constantly. I have tried removing the battery (the red light goes off) to reset the phone but it has not worked.

When I next check my phone the LED light was permanatly stuck on and the battery really quickly drained so I charged it up but it will only charge to 50% and the light is still on, I've pulled out the battery and left it.

I removed the charger from the phone, but the red light is still on and when I tried to turn on the phone by holding the power button, only the back and home button flash but the screen is blank. The phone has been like this for the past 4 hours and I'm not sure what I should do next.

After updating the Blackberry App World software and rebooting the device, the red light began flashing as soon as the phone turned back on even though there were no new notifications, and no updates required. I tried switching a few things on and off, but it had no affect. So I performed a battery pull and it solved the problem...until I received an email on my device, and the light would not turn off after I read the email.

I have a light that stays on constantly. Its like the video camera light is constantly on but not quite as bright as the video light. I have tried everything to turn it off. Its draining my battery & is annoying! When I turn on my video camera, the light brightens. I'm so sick of this stupid light! Short of putting blk electrical tape over it I don't know what to do.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.

The only way to "fix" this is to take the battery out and put it back it. Two or three days later, it will freeze and I have to do it again. This process also drains my battery life. I don't have many applications installed and the ones I do have come only from Blackberry App World. I also receive an App Error 523 message. I have called my carrier and gone through the different steps they recommend to solve this problem. None work. I am very dissatisfied and have come to the conclusion that the 8520 and all Curves are garbage and I am seriously considering leaving Blackberry. This also happened to me and other friends owned 8300.

The phone reboots itself approximately 5 or 6 times a day which is quite annoying as you have to deal with the irate persons who are continuously met by your voicemail as your phone is off or awaiting secrity info (PIN) without your knowledge.
The flashlight on my Blackberry Curve 9360 is constantly on, I'm factory resetting it at this minute and it is still on? Is there anyway of turning it off or just completely disabling it?

View 4 Replies View RelatedHowever the last few weeks, it's been cutting out, Crashing, freezes up. Boots up, goes to the White Screen and goe's black, doesn't come on for at least 5 minutes before it boots up.I've been trying to reload its software but unable to because the phone freezes up and cuts off. So i have no clue what to do at this point. It has little episodes where it spazzes out goes white and the screen flickers for 20 seconds and shuts off. Battery pulls have been tried to fix the issue but even that isn't even working.i'm a Blackberry Guru myself but i've never seen this issue ever before on my Curve 3G. The odd occasional crash maybe due to over load on the memory, but this is getting beyond a joke, i can't even boot it up for at least 10 minutes or even a minute after it boots up it goes like Hell is decending into the thing.
UPDATE: I'm also being informed i'm not the only one with this issue, a fair few blackberries have gone insane in my area. Like if a hacker is tapping into the software and destroying it inside out with a virus or something. < An idea but not accurate.
I am having major issues with my Blackberry Curve 9300.The trackpad constantly freezes for up to 15 hours at a time. During this time the device is useless. I cannot scroll left to right, but sometimes I can still select by pressing the trackpad. This still make it useless as I cannot scroll to what I want to select.Pulling the battery does not fix this. I have good app memory so that's not the issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor at least the last 6 months I've been having a constant problem with making phone calls from my blackberry. Whenever I make a call more 99% of the time I have problems where the person's voice on the other end of the phone is constantly breaking up.or the voice sounds distorted (the only way I can really describe this is that it sounds almost like someone's playing the sound back in slow motion with a lot of inteference noise mixed in). Other times I have attempted to make a phone call and after waiting to hear a ringtone while the screen reads "connecting" for a while, I get the "call failed" message. I would put these problems down to bad signal but when I make the calls my phone always has at least 3 bars of signal. At first I wasn't sure if the problems were from my phone or whether it was from the phones I've been calling, but today I've called 3 different numbers and had exactly thesame problem with it.

It started with three, then four, and now six. I have read several forums and have tried pulling my battery several times. I have even deleted my e-mail account and set it up again. I have gone into all my folders to see if there is a message hiding somewhere. I can't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Aside from doing a factory restore and/or calling Verizon does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset the counter? By the way, my carrier is Verizon!
