HTC One M7 :: Won't Turn On And Red Light Is Constantly On?
Aug 21, 2015
So last night I plugged in my HTC One M7 into the charger. I did not use the phone for the day and the last time I checked it was at 21% battery life. When I woke up in the morning to check on the phone, the red light was still on indicating it was still being charged.
I removed the charger from the phone, but the red light is still on and when I tried to turn on the phone by holding the power button, only the back and home button flash but the screen is blank. The phone has been like this for the past 4 hours and I'm not sure what I should do next.
My phone battery died at the weekend and I have now connected it to my computer to charge, however it is not turning on. The red light is on constantly. I have tried removing the battery (the red light goes off) to reset the phone but it has not worked.
So I was on the internet earlier and it said the pages security certificate was out of date but I knew it was a trusted site so I clicked continue and finished using my phone and put it in my back pocket. When I next check my phone the LED light was permanatly stuck on and the battery really quickly drained so I charged it up but it will only charge to 50% and the light is still on, I've pulled out the battery and left it.
the red flashing light keeps on blinking but i dont have any notifications. it kinda bothers me because this didnt happen before. it started affter i updated my phone.
My sms messages are all messed up. They are in the wrong order, and the red light won't stop flashing, even after I've read and replied to an SMS. I've tried to back it up using the desktop software but it get stuck at the smart-card bit and wont go any further, so I have to unplug it. How can I reset my phone to make this go away?
I have a Blackberry Bold 9700, and this problem only just began today. After updating the Blackberry App World software and rebooting the device, the red light began flashing as soon as the phone turned back on even though there were no new notifications, and no updates required. I tried switching a few things on and off, but it had no affect. So I performed a battery pull and it solved the problem...until I received an email on my device, and the light would not turn off after I read the email.
My son brought me my phone yesterday and the flash light was on. I don't know what he did to it but it will not turn off even if I power down my phone. I have tried reseting and it doesn't work. I am also getting the error message when I open my camera that I must close other applications before it will let me run my camera.

Any ideas? I am also getting the error message when I open my camera that I must close other applications before it will let me run my camera.
I have a light that stays on constantly. Its like the video camera light is constantly on but not quite as bright as the video light. I have tried everything to turn it off. Its draining my battery & is annoying! When I turn on my video camera, the light brightens. I'm so sick of this stupid light! Short of putting blk electrical tape over it I don't know what to do.
I used to have zero problems with my BH 111 device but now every time I turn it on the green indicator light keeps flashing quickly and doesn't stop. I cannot connect it to my mobile device anymore.
A few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.
I have had my Blackberry Curve 8330 on my Verizon plan for 2 months and the trackball has fallen off and the phone currently will not turn on. No it is not Dead. I have charged it for hours(The light does turn on while charging) yet the phone still will not turn on.
my device does not turn on, the LED light turn on red for about 15 seconds and then off, the only thing I can see in the screen is the battery charging symbol when I plugged it in for about 3 min and then nothing, I try another battery and is not it.
A few days ago my Google Nexus 5 began constantly rebooting for no apparent reason. Most times when the phone rebooted it would not even get past the Goolge logo before rebooting again. Occasionally the phone would go farther at which point it would say that it was optimizing apps. Sometimes it would reboot again right in the middle of this process. I was not connected to WiFi at the time this whole thing began so it should not have been updating in the first place.
On the rare occasions that the phone started up completely I tried running it in Safe Mode, clearing the cache and doing a factory reset in the hopes that the issue is being caused by an app, all to no avail!!!! NOW THE PHONE WON'T EVEN TURN ON!!!!
I've had my Nexus 5 phone for 16 months now - generally worked great. Occasionally it dies and wont power up, but tends to be fine once you leave it charged for 10 minutes and give it a go a few times.
However, now, it wont boot up at all. It has a mind of its own of turning on and off every few seconds, and then just staying on the Google logo before switching off again. Very occasionally it gets to the 4 circles but again shut offs after a few seconds.
I've read a few threads that suggest pressing Vol button and power on button. I've tried that and get to the android robot screen, but it switches off like 1 second after, so im unable to select any options.
When I have connected to a charger, it constantly boots up and switches off the google logo after couple of seconds all by itself. But if not connected to a charger, then it remains off unless I press power button or give it a little knock.
iv got a blackberry storm 9500 and its been working fine for the past year and last week at work i had the phone on charge and i sent a text message while the phone was on charge and then left the phone to carry on charging and 20mins later i went to the phone and its completly blank and wont turn on i took the battery out and put it back in and nothing i tried another working battery and still nothing i dont even get the red light at the top come on. iv tried everything and it wont turn on at all.
my xperia z2 abruptly turned off while there was 10% battery was remaning since then i tried every thing pressed all three buttons together power volume and tried that red button on the side of sim tray nothing is working out.
My blackberry was fine until the trackpad wasn't working. It would turn on but it wouldn't scroll. I took the batter out, back in and tried the scroll mutliple times but it wouldn't work. It would always show the little white box and do software verification. After like 5-8 times, I took it off again and put it back in except this time, the blackberry curve wouldn't turn on, no white box or software verification at all! It still hasn't responded and I connected it to the charger but no response. What do I do?
Problem: LED light come out during focusing even though I have switch the flash off.
Is there any way to turn the light off while taking photo? I have turn the flash off => try to take a photo in the dark environment => the light come out during focusing => but when capturing the photo, no flash..
Any idea how to turn that light off? Because sometimes I want to take photo in the place that is not authorized to use Flash (in this case light while focusing) and sometimes that light is annoying to certain people..
my BB 9900 was battery drained and when i charge it i forgot to pull the charger. the effect was i can't turn it on redlight blinks and i also can't update it.
Last night my battery was practically dead so I turned off my phone and charged it overnight. When i woke up this morning it would not turn on. I have a completely black screen with a red light slowly flashing.
I have done battery pull and attempted to reload the applications as per someone else's suggestiong *when i press finish at the last step and it begins to download JVM and system software and completes that and a check mark appears next to it but when it goes to the next step which is "Wait for device initilization" it doesnt complete the reconnecting to JVM part and an error pops up reading "Application Loader was unable to connect with your device. Please re-connect your device, enter the password, if required, and retry" no matter how many times i try this it doesnt work.
I am at a loss of what to do. I've had the blackberry since early november and this happened once before and the battery pull solved it.
I have had my phone for 6 months. 3 times now I gotten a a red light (NOT flashing) when I plug in my phone to charge. According to my provider (Rogers), they haven't heard of this - YEAH RIGHT!
I have read about flashing red lights online with the Bold 9900, but mine just stays on.
