Mar 13, 2012Won't charge, or won't show it's charging. I doubt that's connecting. Won't connect to the laptop. Who do I go to get it repaired?

View 1 RepliesSuddenly, today, while checking email, the screen on the device when completely white (there was absolutely nothing on ther screen - I've read that the WSOD often has a symbol or something on the screen, this was strictly white)So, I pulled the battery from the device for a couple of minutes. Upon replacing the battery into the phone, the LED lights up for a couple of minutes and then the screen proceeds with the typical reboot screen... the "blackberry" with the loading bar. Once the bar is full and loaded, the screen goes black and the LED turns off. From here, the device is completely unresponsive.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Z3 and out of the blue yesterday the touchscreen became completely unresponsive. I have restarted countless times (with power & volume up button), fully charged, given it 24 hours and have just tried a repair using Sony Bridge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got an issue with a HTC Sensation. The touchscreen will not unlock whatsoever. The phone turns on fine, new notifications pop up on the top bar and the screen on/off button at the top works fine, but the silver ring at the bottom will not pull up to unlock.
This happened afew weeks ago, I took out the battery, left it out for a few hours, put it back in, did a factory reset and it worked. I've since installed a few more apps and accordingly, the screen does not work at all, I've tried pulling the battery but to no avail, nothing will work, I'm still getting messages through and phone calls but can't unlock the screen to answer!
Does anyone know of any way to bypass the lock screen at start-up so I can just do a factory reset again??? I have tried starting up in safe mode, but this doesn't work.
Recently my Ray's touchscreen has stopped working completely; the screen its self works, as do the volume and power buttons, but it won't register any touch - I can't even unlock the slider. Tried all of the usual things, recharging, leaving the battery out etc. In the end I used the repair tool which installed ICS, and that actually worked for about two days, but the same problem just came back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe home button on my 4S is completely unresponsive. Additionally, when I turn the phone off, it restarts all by itself. I've tried a few times to reinstall software, but that hasn't corrected the problem.

For a while now my home button has been sporadically unresponsive - I'd press it a couple times and then it'd work. This morning however, it won't respond at all, which means once I enter an application I can't exit it at all. I can't reboot it by pressing the Home/Wake buttons together either, since obviously the home button isn't working, and I'd rather not restart it every time I want to do something.
I think this is more a hardware problem than anything else and means I might need to get my phone replaced, but it's out of its 1 year warranty period. I kept dropping it, even with a case on.
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, cracked screen, I dropped it a lot
this problem is only occuring in Apples Photos application.
when i open the photos app, it works fine does not crash. however when i close the app, then open it again it crashes and is completely unresponsive. this problem started since i updated my iPhone 5 to iOS7.1. Â
To resolve this problem, i have to terminate the app then re-open it again. but i dont want to hav to do this everytime.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4
I was using phone and it went dead. It had battery life left but is now completely unresponsive. I am worried about losing my photos and my contacts.

So this morning I took my Xperia Play out of its charging dock, to find that the touch screen is now completely unresponsive.I have tried updating and repairing the software through the PC companion, but the screen is still completely unresponsive. The phone is still (technically) working, and can be navigated by using the PS controls, but the touch part of the screen is not working.

Yesterday i dropped my storm and it shut off completely, no cracks on the screen nothing. I did a battery pull repeatedly and charged it over night, at first the red light would blink whenever i hit the power button and now its completely unresponsive, no red light at all. Will not even show its charging, my computer will not detect it.
View 11 Replies View Relatedall of a sudden, after my dinner this evening, my S6 edge was completely unresponsive.
pressing the power button for 7+ seconds, as per Samsung, did not work at all. totally black screen, no response. pressing the volume DOWN button, power button, and the home button, also to no avail. on the other hand, while on the phone to TMobile's customer service to report this non-functional brand new phone,
i was continuing to press the abovementioned buttons frantically. well, while i was talking to TMobile via my landline, the phone eventually booted up. this was VERY haphazard. The only thing i recall reading about this was to press the power button for 7 seconds, which Samsung had said was the equivalent of pulling out the battery.
right. that's bogus. that did nothing for me. yet, by pressing the volume up or down button PLUS the power button PLUS the home button,
i don't know exactly which combination eventually worked, as i was trying various permutations, eventually, the phone booted up. this does not give me confidence in this phone.
What eventually i did to make this phone boot up eventually. all i did was to be on the phone with TMobile and press the power button plus the volume up or down button, plus the home button, and eventually, it rebooted and came back to life.
I am having an issue with the 950s screen responsiveness and hoping a few other ow red could confirm if they are also so I know if it's a bad screen or something else.
When the phone is laying flat on a hard surface the screen is completely unresponsive. As soon as a pick it up everything is fine.
The other issue is in regards to the keyboard which seems to be hit or miss on recognizing input near the edges of the screen.
I suspect it could be the tempered glass screen protector but I don't want to remove it if others have the issue if there is a known software issue.
I phone recently developed a problem with touch screen becomming completely unresponsive. I googled and found its a common fault with Sony Handsets. Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.
Has worked well for ages up until 7 days ago: No new apps and i rarely use them. Now several times a day one of two things happen:
1. The screen goes black and the device becomes unresponsive
2. The screen glows plain white and the device becomes unresponsive.
the only way to get it working again is to plug it into the mains and it then automatically reboots.
My browser has stopped responding, or takes a very long time to respond when I press the 'menu' button (the one that's the BlackBerry logo). Whilst I can still open it, and return to the home screen, and visit links from other apps, I can't access the menu, or go back to the previous page I was browsing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought my new Curve 8530 from Sprint a couple weeks ago, it's a great phone and I love it! ( like all of my past blackberries ). There is just one issue that is bothering me, the E key can be unresponsive at times. For example if i hit it with my right thumb, it usually wont key in, but it always will with my left thumb. It's not a HUGE deal, but it is just a little bothersome.
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust about every day, my BlackBerry Curve 8530 becomes unresponsive to any keys. I use Password Lock (because I have no choice--I upgraded and lost Keyboard Lock) and if I see that the red light is blinking and I go to "sign in" and it won't respond to any keys, including the convenience keys, dial/hang-up, trackpad and click, and Media buttons. However, the phone is still operating and will respond to new messages coming in, phone calls (though you can't use any keys), and Bluetooth, etc. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing fixes it except for pulling the battery (and waiting for it to restart--which takes longer than my computers). This did not happen back under Keyboard Lock before I upgraded the first time. I'm currently on 5.0.0.734Does anyone have any idea of what's happening, or what can be done to get out of the situation when it does occur, short of yanking the battery?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry curve 8520 keyboard is unresponsive. I have done several hard resets removing the battery sim card and memory card. Once I put all of the components back in the phone it restarts and brings me to the screen to enter my keyboard password. When I press the keys none of them respond and the screen stays blank and eventually dims away. NO keys word and the scroll pad will only scroll but not select. I am in dire need of a solution-
View 4 Replies View RelatedI went online to FB and as I was backing out of it, the screen on my Blackberry went white. It would not shut down or anything. I did a hard reboot, but all that comes up is that white screen. I went to AT&T where we do most of our business, to no avail.
View 8 Replies View Relatedwhen i grabbed my phone , the screen was blank, and the keyboard unresponsive, the phone was still receiving text messages and phone calls, but did not allow me to answer. I tried taking the battery out of the phone, and when i did that, a "no battery" symbol appeared, so i then knew that the screen was not damaged. When I put the battery back in, the screen went blank again. The battery must be charged, otherwise it would not allow phone calls to come through.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 9360 and recently the middle cursor button on it has not been working as smoothly as it once was. It takes several presses in for it to work, and I will often have to press it in quite hard. I am unsure of why this has happened, because I have not dropped the phone or let water or other substances into it. It could perhaps be dirt? I have tried several battery pulls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA week ago I bought a Curve 9300, and today I was using it and suddenly when I was in the main menu, I pressed red key and just stayed there, this red key does work in calls, and to get out of other applications, but when I am in the main menu, it just stays unresponsive. I've tried several battery pulls also.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am with Virgin Mobile UK and have a Blackberry Curve 9300 I noticed this issue today, all I remember is yesterday installing the newest version of twitter and it rebooting the device. The blackberry messenger icon is missing and the shortcut key on the side was set to BBM, though now it says it isn't set to anything. A contact sent me a messege on bbm but I didn't recieve it even though it came up as delivered. They even pinged me, no vibration no anything! Though when they sent me a PIN it worked.. Though when looking at the applications in the setting menu BBM is still there and when trying to install BBM again, it asked me to replace 5.0 with the newer version. I pressed yes but everytime the device fails to download the newer version of BBM halfway through. I restarted twice and did a dry battery pull and the issue still isn't resolved
View 1 Replies View Relatedi recently had to reboot my device because my web was not working. i took out the battery like i usually do, but now the device will not completely turn on! It loads very slowly and the white "progress bar" won't go past about 3/4 of the way. i took the battery out about 3 more times with the same result.
