When I receive a message or try to type a message my phone is continually freezing. the message "the applicatioon Messaging (processcom.sonyericsson.conversations) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again." The only option is "force close". Messaging in general is very slow as some of my conversations are very long with many messages. However when i try to delete these conversation the same message comes up.

I have tried temple run, fruit ninja & load runner from play store & many more. Also would like to add, all games install properly without giving any error, but they freeze while playing. I also use " move app to sd" application for moving to sd card once they are installed.

View 4 Replies View RelatedGot this new from Nokia N86 less then a week ago and wasn't texting much - more calling and getting use to Symbian. But the few txts I did do were fine. NOW whenever I text and use the space key, which is inevitable, the screen freezes completely. I have to take the battery out wait and then re-start. Wierdly it's not the first use of the space key that wil freeze it.

It was pretty slow before, but now it's unusable. I have tried app killer applications and tried deleting messaging history but it just can't seem to handle a simple request.
I love this phone, there's no other phone out there with the same design and shape, but I'm getting seriously fed up as this is not the first problem I've had. I think I will try a different manufacturer next time - SE have let me down.
How to increase the maximum sms messaging as after typing in and consuming 1st page for the text message, it will automatically have the mms settings which will not work for me. Also accessibility settings is grayed out and cannot be chosen..

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Xperia mini pro SK17i and i've been using it for about 5 months now.. sometimes when i slide out the keyboard, the unit restarts.. and sometimes when playing music or when it's in my pocket it restarts.. i dont know why.. i message alot and i have about 5000 texts under one number.. whenever i want to send a message to that number i have to wait about 45 seconds for the conversation to load.. and while typing the wait/force close popup comes for messaging.. this is very annoying.. sometimes when in a hurry it restarts or messaging section freezes.. i've updated this to the latest firmware (4.0.2.A.0.62) and i did a full flash using SEUS about 3 months back.. but the problem still exists

View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently I've upgraded my SE Xperia mini pro to Android Icecream Sandwich 4.0.After upgrading I'm facing issue with Inbuilt Messaging application.It immediately clears all my messages, thereafter all messages appears back some time later .Even problem appearing in 3rd Party - PANSI Messaging application too.I've grouped my messages in folders other than to keep all in Inbox.This immediately removes all messages from folders and sits all in INBOX which is very time consuming for grouping again n again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy N97 touchscreen sometimes freezes when I get a call. I try to unlock the phone by using the keyguard key [coz the screen is frozen] but nothing happens. I also try the call buttons and they also don't respond.
And could Nokia, please, change the setting on the display light after a call in the next update. The screen goes dark after the call that you cannot see the call duration at the end of the call. Its highly annoying!!! [At least to me since I have to monitor my calls since I roam alot]I do have the latest version of the Nokia Software installed on the N97 and everything else is working fine.

Okay, so no big deal I can retype but then it freezes on the White & Blue Nokia screen (no handshake).I tried shut it down, didn't respond. I took out the battery as the last resort.I put the battery back and tried to restart again. I have discovered that if Nokia Messaging is running on my N97 mini, using the "Internet" connection, it's impossible to use te the same time phone's modem, trying to connect to the Internet through a PC. In this case an error 734 is issued by WIndows (PPP connection terminated). The trick is to disconnect Nokia messaging; doing so will lead to a successful connection from the PC.

Now when I watch movie's or play games make phone calls or something simple like receiving txt messages or emails (or to put it another way, everything the phone was designed to do) the handset simply freezes and makes a terrible buzzing noise for about 4 seconds then it shuts off completely. The phone will then reboot. Sometimes it will crash again immediately and reboot again. I have seen it crash and reboot up to 5 times.

I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.

"Messaging not default sms app. Tap to make Messaging your default SMS.."
(that's what it says; it actually stops mid sentence). I click on it and there's a dialog box:
"Change SMS app?
Use messaging instead of Hangouts as your SMS app?
No Yes"
Now obviously I don't want to do this (why would anyone), but I click on No and the box goes away but it'll come back again later. I can't uninstall messaging, and when I load it to see if it has options to never do anything again ever the first thing it does is pop up the "Change sms app" box again, and when I press No it quits.
