I am facing a serious problem with my messaging app. It takes too long to load and to open messages. I cleared the app data and restarted my phone with no success. I deleted many messages to free space with no success neither.And it says: messaging is not responding do you want to close it? (Wait/ok.)
View 9 Repliesboth my father and I are experiencing complete iPhone lookups when using Siri to create or respond to messages that come in. It is not completely consistent, but most often, if we receive a text or iMessage and attempt to "reply" via Siri, the phone locks up on the send portion. Siri goes through the prompts of what would you like to say, then reads the message back and prompts to send. When we reply to "send", Siri then states "Alright, I'll send the message, but the mic indicator keeps circling and the entire iPhone 4S locks up where only a hard reboot will clear it. This can happen when on the lock screen or home screen. This situation also happens when you ask Siri to generate a message, but typically not until a couple of messages have gone back and forth leveraging Siri then the phone again locks up on the "send" portion in the same way. Simply odd and frustrating behavior. There are a few times it will go through ok, but most often it will lock the phone up. That said, the dictation feature never hangs.

I have reported this so many times to BB that I am starting to think they don't really have anyone out there fixing these things as we have had at least one update since the first report and its still happening.My device freezes up and eventually comes back with the following message:Uncaught exception: Application net-rim-bb-messaging-app (148) is not responding: process terminated.Then control is returned to the device.Its now starting to freeze up when I turn the device on first thing in the morning, though here it doesn't normally come up with the message but after about 5 mins will give me access to the device.

My phone would not respond to the touchscreen when I try unlocking it, but it would respond once I slide the joypad, press power button once or twice etc. But after few days, this became worse and now even the Home button became unresponsive.The current situation is that I cannot unlock my phone as the touchscreen is not responding at all.
When this problem started, I had checked the running services to ensure whether there were any malicious programs taking up CPU usage. I could not find any.
I've been having this problem from the beggining and I really do not know what is the problem. I've tried different types of rom, i've removed the sim and sd card but nothing seems to solve the problem.After pressing the power button and the cpu gets out of deep sleep, touchscreen is not responding just volume buttons and power button. I have to keep press the power button until at some point the touchscreen responds.

After updating to the latest version (23.1.A.1.28), sometimes during using the phone it suddenly stops responding starting from the home button then the desktop icons & the app drawer also don't respond and can't even switch to other home screen pages.
After restarting the phone, it works fine for some hours and then it happens again. This happens at least twice a day.
I tried repairing by pcc and the same problem returned again. This never happened on Kitkat. Is this a common issue (should I flash kitkat to solve it)?
I've recently got my Z5 (upgrade from Z3) literally on Monday 23rd Nov.
I've loaded most of the stuff I had on my Z3 and not loaded anything else that I didn't have on the Z3 (eg. Apps).
However, the first morning upon trying to sleepily swipe the alarm off, it wouldn't work so when I eventually opened my sleep encrusted eyes to see what was up it had a little pop up message saying "home screen not responding: close | wait" so what I pressed as I was trying to get it to stop blaring out Queen at the ungodly hour.
Didn't think much of it but over the past few days it's been doing it still. This morning it did the same thing but it also does it during the day too when I take it out and unlock to start using it.
I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing and whether it's because it's the first usage and it's unhappy with my choice of alarm music, the music I listen to during the day via Bluetooth headphones or maybe the somewhat RAM hogging weather live app I have running as a live background function.
I tried Google but it came up about home being touch unresponsive which this isn't technically doing. If I press "wait" it's a bit like a pc in that it will sit frozen for a minute then start working.
My z2 not respond to the hard reset. I press power and v- v+ but not see the menu reset

I selected 'Shut Down' option, hoping that it would simply shut down the phone. View 9 Replies View RelatedSony Experia play, the home/standby button will still send the phone to standby but it will not wake the phone, i had to use the slide to activate the phone from sleep but now that has stop working. The phone is on and somebody can ring or text (Rings and vibrates) but the screen does not respond. Once in a blue moon it will work fine, then other times i can sit for 20 minutes pressing and sliding for the phone and screen to wake up. I have tried factory reset etc but to no avail.

In the meanwhile I have repaired the software using Sony Bridge for Mac, used an old PC to repair with PC Companion and last tried SUS, but other than deleting my data nothing happened, the screen will not react to touch. View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought an Xperia Ray last Saturday because my HTC Salsa was struggling to connect and stay connected to my home wifi and also had internal memory problems (not enough internal memory)..Now I'm having different wifi problems with the Ray.It connects but the connection is very slow although nothing else is accessing the wifi and when my husband connects with his Samsung Galaxy it is fine and very fast. Every time the screen light goes out (set to every 10 mins at the moment) it seems to drop the wifi connection and when I "wake " it again it has just the mobile connection but starts to connect again straight away, unfortunately this is not fast.

I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.
