I have my phone set to respond to okay Google on any screen, however it does not respond at all. I have double, triple. and quadruple checked my settings. Why is it not responding?

1) most of the time, whether from a lock screen or unlocked screen - OK GOOGLE just doesn't recognize. I've retrained my voice several times - no improvement
2) When it is recognized - it just opens up the search screen - and I either have to type the command or hit the microphone to speak the command... but by now - its out of sync and it just doesn't work.
3) from the lockscreen - when it is recognized - the screen doesn't unlock, but the command may process (or not)
4) frequently when OK GOOGLE is recognized - the following command isn't heard or the timing is out of sync...
OK GOOGLE has become basically useless on my N6P - and it is one of the Android features I use the most. Heck - how am I supposed to prove OK GOOGLE always trumps SIRI - when it just doesn't work? Quite embarrassing actually ...
I brought my nexus 5 for almost a year now. yesterday, i was charging my phone via a PC and after disconnecting it from the PC it just started to heatup near the camera area. It became so hot that I was not able to keep in my pocket. Then I tried opening up the dailer to call my friend but it just showed "Process system isn't responding do you want to close it?"
THEN I tried several other apps and these showed up:
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
then I tried factory reset but not improvement. during the signin page in the beginning it said Google account manager stopped working, then again process system isn't responding. I tried factory imaging from 4.4.4 kitkat to 5 lollipop. No improvement.
I believe there are some corrupted files that might have updated automatically. i dont want to pay $200 and wait for 3 weeks to get it fixed
I have the Moto X 2nd gen, and I have been having several issues with the phone, mainly I repeatedly have a "Google Apps" popup saying that is not responding and asking me to report the issue. I get these error maybe 3-4 times a day and restart my phone when the issues doesn't die down.
Also, my phone stops responding at certain times and it just stutters along.
Is this my phone or should I do a factory reset? Also, will the 5.1 update fix any if these issues, I hoping not to have to restore to factory default.
When I slide to open the keyboard it dosent respond. The backlits in the keyboard are not glowing and the auto rotation is also not working when I slide the keyboard.

Before restarting the phone would slow down and freeze and then the LED light would be stuck on as it's restarting. After reading several people having the same issues, I decided to take some peoples advice and do a complete factory reset. Which I had done 3 days ago.

My phone would not respond to the touchscreen when I try unlocking it, but it would respond once I slide the joypad, press power button once or twice etc. But after few days, this became worse and now even the Home button became unresponsive.The current situation is that I cannot unlock my phone as the touchscreen is not responding at all.
When this problem started, I had checked the running services to ensure whether there were any malicious programs taking up CPU usage. I could not find any.
I've been having this problem from the beggining and I really do not know what is the problem. I've tried different types of rom, i've removed the sim and sd card but nothing seems to solve the problem.After pressing the power button and the cpu gets out of deep sleep, touchscreen is not responding just volume buttons and power button. I have to keep press the power button until at some point the touchscreen responds.

After updating to the latest version (23.1.A.1.28), sometimes during using the phone it suddenly stops responding starting from the home button then the desktop icons & the app drawer also don't respond and can't even switch to other home screen pages.
After restarting the phone, it works fine for some hours and then it happens again. This happens at least twice a day.
I tried repairing by pcc and the same problem returned again. This never happened on Kitkat. Is this a common issue (should I flash kitkat to solve it)?
I've recently got my Z5 (upgrade from Z3) literally on Monday 23rd Nov.
I've loaded most of the stuff I had on my Z3 and not loaded anything else that I didn't have on the Z3 (eg. Apps).
However, the first morning upon trying to sleepily swipe the alarm off, it wouldn't work so when I eventually opened my sleep encrusted eyes to see what was up it had a little pop up message saying "home screen not responding: close | wait" so what I pressed as I was trying to get it to stop blaring out Queen at the ungodly hour.
Didn't think much of it but over the past few days it's been doing it still. This morning it did the same thing but it also does it during the day too when I take it out and unlock to start using it.
I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing and whether it's because it's the first usage and it's unhappy with my choice of alarm music, the music I listen to during the day via Bluetooth headphones or maybe the somewhat RAM hogging weather live app I have running as a live background function.
I tried Google but it came up about home being touch unresponsive which this isn't technically doing. If I press "wait" it's a bit like a pc in that it will sit frozen for a minute then start working.
My z2 not respond to the hard reset. I press power and v- v+ but not see the menu reset

I selected 'Shut Down' option, hoping that it would simply shut down the phone. View 9 Replies View RelatedSony Experia play, the home/standby button will still send the phone to standby but it will not wake the phone, i had to use the slide to activate the phone from sleep but now that has stop working. The phone is on and somebody can ring or text (Rings and vibrates) but the screen does not respond. Once in a blue moon it will work fine, then other times i can sit for 20 minutes pressing and sliding for the phone and screen to wake up. I have tried factory reset etc but to no avail.

In the meanwhile I have repaired the software using Sony Bridge for Mac, used an old PC to repair with PC Companion and last tried SUS, but other than deleting my data nothing happened, the screen will not react to touch. The phone is 6 months old and I know there was no physical force or other stress applied upon it between the last time it worked and the moment I realized the screen was dead. View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought an Xperia Ray last Saturday because my HTC Salsa was struggling to connect and stay connected to my home wifi and also had internal memory problems (not enough internal memory)..Now I'm having different wifi problems with the Ray.It connects but the connection is very slow although nothing else is accessing the wifi and when my husband connects with his Samsung Galaxy it is fine and very fast. Every time the screen light goes out (set to every 10 mins at the moment) it seems to drop the wifi connection and when I "wake " it again it has just the mobile connection but starts to connect again straight away, unfortunately this is not fast.
