I have a problem with my x10 mini pro. Most of the times, while in call it is going to mute.. I am using the phone very close to my ears and i can see it is blank when i take out to see whether it is in mute or not. whether there is any existing remedy for this or someone can raise a request to sony ericsson to have mute as a hard key or in a menu form like it is present in normal mobiles?

Is there an option to move the Mute Mic button once I attend call to another place, It happens very frequently as i attend a call the button gets tuched by my ear and I am muted, It is painful as before i understand its muted and unmute it the other person hang up thinking I cant hear. How do i customize the Mic button.

I've tried resetting by turning my phone off and back on, i also checked settings but don't see anything wrong.
I have a samsung galaxy 6 and all incoming calls are setting my ringtone to mute. I put my ringtone volume as high as it will go. Then I call my phone. Sometimes it will ring once with volume before it magically sets my ringtone to mute, but regardless, ever incoming call sets my ringtone to mute by the 2nd or 3rd ring.
I've turned gestures off.
I have no updates for the phone.
No recently added apps.
Power saving is turned off.
my iphone 4 (ios 5.1) doesn't make a sound on it's speakers when receiving a call or using app.however music plays on speakers as well as some apps like "magic piano". Internet uses speakers correctly, too. vibration works when getting a call, but no sound. turning vibration off doesn't make a difference.testing the ringtone works fine, too, but i don't hear it during a call.when using headphones all apps produce the sound they should and incoming calls play the ringtone, too. changing volume level doesn't make a difference.during a call i can turn on loudspeakers without a problem. mute works as expected, too. but no matter what i do, all incoming calls stay silent and most apps and system sounds like keyboard clicks are muted. i missed numerous calls because of that, so how can i turn the sound back on?

When making/receiving calls mute is enabled by default. The Bold 9700 has the latest software release.

The sound is like the 1 which we get when we take our phone near speaker or sub-woofer during a call in 2g coverage. sound occurs in few calls only.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had an Xperia X10 Mini Pro for a while now. The last few months I have experienced that the phone stops recieving phone calls and SMS. The rest of the phone is still working and I can use apps and mobile internet so I do not notice myself that it has stoped working untill I try to make a phone call myself. The phone starts working again if I restart it (just a normal shut down and the turn it back on again). This works every time. Once restarted I normaly gets a lot of SMS's with messages on my voice mail etc.

I tried calling out again this morning and the same thing happened. The only way I can hear the other person is to have the phone on loud speaker. But there are lots of problems I'm facing with the phone now, Dropped calls. Especially with WiFi and/or data ON. Slow performance, Widgets/Folders on the Home screen take time to load (i can see them loading one by one)Phone app takes around 3 secs to come up!!! All other apps also take longer than before to load.3. The corner widgets randomly reset to default ones - i tried to set them lots of times and everytime they reset (this i believe is a fault with only my device), Contact details (like ringtone) gets reset.

After the call a some addtional digits have bent sent, like "441*441..." I was asleep and my phone was standby and charging. Serious problem that I need to resolve in some way as soon as possible. It's my first touchscreen phone, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.While I'm on a phone call, the following buttons automatically appear on the touchscreen: Mute, Hold, Speaker Phone, and Add Recipient. I have yet to complete a phone conversation without hitting one of these buttons with my cheek. I upgraded to the X 10 Mini last Sunday. initially I recieved audio when recieving a call or text message. However this is no longer the case and it only vibrates. It does work via headphones. I have re-installed Android 2.1 but no difference.
