I purchased an X10 mini three days ago and I've had nothing but trouble. It took three hours to finally get it to recognize my SIM chip. Now when I connect to the charger (PC and wall socket), it'll start charging and the light will turn orange but it will spontaneously shut off. As has been pointed out elsewhere, the phone won't charge unless so it's on, so you can see how this is a problem. I haven't been able to get the battery to fully charge (the best I've gotten is to 75%) and it gives it still gives it's status as discharging when it's hooked up. To add insult to injury, once the phone shuts off, I need to repeatedly press the on button (sometimes in conjunction with the home button) to get it to turn on. I'll get a little vibration and then nothing happens. I need to try about a dozen times before it'll finally respond. Do I need to return the phone for being defective or is there something I can do? I've had SE phones for the last six years, but this is enough to make me switch to another brand.

All I can see is Android system consuming maximum of it.This is the screen shot when my battery went from 80% to 30% in 9hrs with only a few minutes usage in between and only 2G data on. View 1 Replies View Relatedtoday i just upgrade my xperia mini pro SK17i to build number 4.0.2.A.0.58, after this update, my back and menu button begin to be unresponsive or lagged significantly, the backlight of these two button also not turn on.the responsiveness of home button is not affected at all, so I'm not sure what is the source of the problem here.for example, let me demonstrate here:
1. unlock my phone - by slide to right > press the corner shortcut - animation is smooth > press the mail icon - open mail and I can imediately scroll down with no lag > press back button...wait up to 3 second and then it go back to home screen or worse it not registered anything, is it like I didnt press the back button

what can make something like this happen? if this is software related action 1 and action 2 should be the same right? this is like some software component after update didn't detect the capacitive button correctly or something.there is option to repair this phone but it mean that I will loose all things in main memory, I will use this option as the last resort, but for now I would like to hear other opinion about this.other annoying stuff after this update:
- the APN setting was deleted so I must enter it again
- before update there is mcafee viruscan and mcafee wavesecure, after update it change into mcafee viruscan and mcafee security, and the mcafee security is not compatible with viruscan!! so I must delete viruscan, not that im using it tho, but still.
- there is some carrier spesific app that can be deleted but after boot restart showed up again
My iphone 6 plus is less than a week old, and a problem that began on the second day seems to be getting worse
1. At times I am unable to answer an incoming call.The "answer" symbol is not responsive to touch, however much I try.
2. Likewise, after I mke a call and want to hang up, the "end call" symbol is not responsive to touch. (the entire screen seems to freeze, because nothing else responds to touch: the speaker, keypad, etc)
I have tried switching off and starting the phone (twice), the problem persists, and in fact the frequency seems to increase by the day...

View 20 Replies View RelatedI was trying out several different dialer apps. All was going well until I suddenly lost my dialer controls altogether. I tried going back to Hangouts and good dialers, but no luck. I even cleared/rebuilt device cache from the Startup menu.
Here is what's happening:
1. After I dial a number and hit the 'dial' key, it starts dialing. At the same time the dialer app goes away and I cannot get back to call controls. Cannot pull up the numeric pad.
2. From the top pull down menu I used to see a "call in progress" option which took me to the dialer controls. It is not there anymore.
3. The phone rings when I get an incoming call, but there are no controls to pick up or ignore.
Some additional information as this appears to be a tough one:
The last dialer app that may have caused this was 'ExDialer'. After I installed it, it started acting this way. After I uninstalled it and cleared the device cache, it remained the same no matter what dialer I choose.
I have a problem with my x10 mini pro. Most of the times, while in call it is going to mute.. I am using the phone very close to my ears and i can see it is blank when i take out to see whether it is in mute or not. whether there is any existing remedy for this or someone can raise a request to sony ericsson to have mute as a hard key or in a menu form like it is present in normal mobiles?

The sound is like the 1 which we get when we take our phone near speaker or sub-woofer during a call in 2g coverage. sound occurs in few calls only.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had an Xperia X10 Mini Pro for a while now. The last few months I have experienced that the phone stops recieving phone calls and SMS. The rest of the phone is still working and I can use apps and mobile internet so I do not notice myself that it has stoped working untill I try to make a phone call myself. The phone starts working again if I restart it (just a normal shut down and the turn it back on again). This works every time. Once restarted I normaly gets a lot of SMS's with messages on my voice mail etc.

I tried calling out again this morning and the same thing happened. The only way I can hear the other person is to have the phone on loud speaker. But there are lots of problems I'm facing with the phone now, Dropped calls. Especially with WiFi and/or data ON. Slow performance, Widgets/Folders on the Home screen take time to load (i can see them loading one by one)Phone app takes around 3 secs to come up!!! All other apps also take longer than before to load.3. After the call a some addtional digits have bent sent, like "441*441..." I was asleep and my phone was standby and charging. Serious problem that I need to resolve in some way as soon as possible. Has anyone experienced the same phenomena? The last app installed was Alchemy, some game my son installed with my approval. I have run a virus scan with NetQin but everything seems ok.

I upgraded to the X 10 Mini last Sunday. initially I recieved audio when recieving a call or text message. However this is no longer the case and it only vibrates. It does work via headphones. I have re-installed Android 2.1 but no difference.
