Xperia X10 :: Can't Connect It To PC (win7 Pro 64bit)
Feb 6, 2011
Last week, my brother gave me a X10, android 1.6, imei: 359419031004327. i dont know is it rooted or not? i installed SE PC Companion, Update Service, but i cant connect my X10 to PC to update Android 2.1?
I have searched all over to try to find the answer to this with no luck. I do not want to tether my iphone or transfer files wirelessly over BT. I merely want to set up my phone as a PHONE via bluetooth to my computer so that I can use it as a microphone on Skype and on OC. I can connect the phone but it fails even when I have installed the peripheral driver. My computer sees the phone but it will not pair.
I can't setup the itune on the win7(64bit), it always show that i need to uninstall and use the i tunes for 64bits when i connet the i phone with my PC
i have check that the version is itune64bits version for sure,
I tried to pair my curve 8530 with a bluetooth adapter on my win7 64bit machine. but got a message saying it could not install the bluetooth peripheral driver. and now my bluetooth headset can no longer connect to my phone, it says cannot connect to audio device, and it cant see the headset when i search for it.
My PC is running XP 64bit OS, my old Xperia U connects fine through the same USB cable and my Xperia Z2 recognizes flash drives connected to it via the supplied adaptor cable... Does the phone perhaps not compatible with old version of windows?
I just got a new Win7 PC and when I try to connect my Xoom to it it sees it as an unknown USB MPT Device. I have tried installing the drivers and still nothing. My Xoom is the WiFi version and running stock ICS.
When I connect my Xoom to my PC with the USB cable it fails to show up in Windows Explorer. If I check in Device Manager it says:This device cannot start. (Code 10)I've tried the following:rebooting the PCpowering off/on the XOOMupdating drivers through Windowsdisabling/enabling the device in Device Managerinstalling the Motorola Device Manager (MotorolaDeviceManager_2.2.17.exe)--it never actually shows up in the System Trayinstalling MotoHelper (MotoHelper_2.1.32_Driver_5.4.0.exe)
I really happy of with my brand new Xperia Mini. However I just noticed that when downloading the videos I took with it onto my PC, the creation date of the file is no more the date when I shot the video but the date and time when it was imported on the PC.Whatever the way I tranfer the video I lose the right date: either accessing via the Windows Filer Manager or via Media Go.Strangely enough there is no such issue with the pictures, where date and time are the right one.
Double-click to start install, this will install the USB drivers
IMPORTANT: When the drivers are done installing, the main installer for VZW Access Manager will present its first window, CANCEL out of the install at this point.
You will now have the USB drivers for modem and composite USB device.
(BitPim will detect the phone as "Other CDMA Phone," but will not provide access to the file system. Still looking for software that can use the drivers to actually access the file system.)
What phone tools software can I get to use on my Windows Xp Pro. 64 bit pc?I want to add ringtones, wallpaper etc.I have Motorola Phone tools but it does not seem to want to open up for me.
I read here the problem with outlook, but all posts say it is beta...but till a few days there is a final version, but nokia is not fit enough to fix the sync with outlook 2010 64bit?
I use the latest version of OVI Suite with my new laptop with OS W7 Home Premium. Two are the problems I get: 1) When I plug my 5800 XM via USB cable and do any operation I have to do using OVI Suite, the "safely remove hardware " icon in the taskbar doesn't show up, as a result, in order to unplug safely the phone, I shutdown my laptop and unplug the phone. 2) Now, every time I follow the procedure in point 1, when I restart my laptop, the icons in the desktop mess up, and one of them ends up in the taskbar over-imposing the skype icon This behaviour occurs only when I connect my Nokia phone, otherwise the laptop is brand new and doesn't show any other problem with any other program.
I am unable to pair my Torch 9860 with my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Laptop (the laptop is Fujitsu AH530/GFX). I have:
1. Reinstalled the BB Desktop Manager several times; 2. I reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers several times 3. Reinstalled all Windows features 4. Enabled all ports and communication services in Windows and Windows Firewall 5. I deactivated and reactivated by anti-virus
The Torch recognizes the laptop but the laptop doesn't recognize the Torch. I've been on the Fujitsu website and reinstalled all the drivers.
My BB Strom will not sychronize with the Desktop manager. Before I've a PC with Vista it works perfect. Now I Install Desktop manager version 5.0.1.28 on my new PC with windows 7 64-bit and it doesn't work. It looks like it synchronize but when you look in the Calander of both PC and BB nothing changend. I'll ask Vodafone in Holland for a solution. They say that it's a software problem what is not fixed for the moment. Wait for new software. I don't believe this. (Excuses for my bath English).
I can't get my phone to be recognized by I tunes,I have downloaded the 64 bit version ,but when I plug my I phone in it says to remove this version and install the 64 bit version ,ahhh it is the 64 bit version ,I am running windows 7
I just connected my new n86 to the laptop which has win7 build 7600 ultimate and now it shows it as "S60 Handset" in the taskbar instead of nokia n86 before and even now if i connect the 5800 it shows it as "Nokia 5800 XpressMusic" anyway the ovi suite reads it well and everything is ok im able to read and write all memories (phone, mass, m.card) but why is this happening?
I have a problem when ejecting my phone. I use windows 7 ultimate 64bit. When i try to eject it, it says that you can remove your hardware safely but when i remove my device the device says some data might be lost. When i was using XP it didn't have the problem. Is it something that i have missed?
Have Inspiron 1700 Win 7, 64 bit computer. Recently got BB Bold. First ever BB. Installed latest desktop manager. Plugged in BB and get error message saying device drivers not found. Browsed to folder where divers are installed and get Error Code 10. Problem has RIM stumped. Computer works fine and devices installs fine on XP computer.
Computer sees iphone fine. iTunes doesn't. I've tried all the recommendations suggested thru Help, but no joy. Unable to sync any music or tones. Tried to return the phone today, but it's been longer than 15 days since I purchased it.
i seem to be having a bluetooth challenge in not getting all the drivers.on my desktop (win 7/64bit) i am connected and can transfer files just fine. it took a while but finally all the drivers kicked in after a number of attempts.however, on my booklet 3g, win7/32bit, i cannot send files from my n900 to my booklet, only FROM my booklet.
seems no matter what i do i cannot get my booklet to load the additional drivers.in lookin on my phone in the bluetooth settings between what is different:on my desktop connection under supported profies: a2dp, ftp, hsp, opp and on my booklet connection under supprted profies: *blank*
so i think the issue is obvious there. but i dont understand why the phone is not sending the bluetooth drivers or the booklet is not being able to find the drivers to make my transfers work correctly.i have tried going to broadcom and downloading the latest driver package (did this for my desktop) but when i launch it, it doesnt even find my bluetooth adapter in my booklet, says to turn it on, but no matter what i do, (it is on) it will not recognize it to move on...
I have got my Dell Vostro 3700 with Win7 (Pro-32bit) recently, have been trying connect my E72 with OVI via bluetooth, it only work when the first pairing, and the connection cannot establish once i restarted the computer.
I'm using Outlook 2003 in Windows 7 and Black Berry Desktop Software. I was always synchronizing my calendar without problems. Now suddenly after exchanging my Black Berry Bold 9700 once again (thanks to my provider they exchange for free when you get bugs) suddenly the Blackberry Desktop Software doesn't show my Outlook profiles anymore when I need to select them.
Already tried:
- Create now profile - Copy profile - Start BBDS as Admin - Update BBDS and BBBold
On Windows XP Documents and Settings[username]Application DataApple ComputerMobileSyncBackup
On Windows vista and Windows 7 Users[username]AppDataRoamingApple ComputerMobileSyncBackup
my question is, can i just copy the b127581d93b5949701b5568dc9cbcxxxxxxxxxx folder that's inside the winXP backup folder right into the backup folder on windows 7? is it going to sync right up like it should when i plug iphone into the win7 machine?
The E90 (Firmware upgraded today) does not sync completely with Outlook 2007. I'm missing new agenda-entries and ALL notes.(Notes-sync as well as agn-sync are set to manual and of course I have triggered both syncs several times after updating software)
And I'm also missing a possibility to access the notes on the mobile device - the old E90-Software permitted that, but I'm not seeing how to do that with Ovi?
I just upgraded to Blackberry Desktop Software 6.0.0.40 and after i tried to do my first synchronization i noticed that my Calendar is inactive and it says "Not Installed" at the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
I've had a Lumia 1020 for a while. I've been connecting it to a Win7 desktop to offload pictures at work, and I connect it to a Win8.1 desktop at home. Today, I plug in my 1020 to my Win7 machine and it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. I reboot the machine, still won't show up. I go to devices and printers in control panel and I delete the driver, replug in my phone, and upon discovery, it's now trying to install a Lumia 909, which fails, BTW... So I can't offload picts to my Win7 box. I need to try it with my Win8.1 machine.
BB desktop software on Win7 unable to link via Bt to torch 9860, it says troubleshooting needed.. no driver on win7? However it works for transfer files from PC to device.
