BB (RIM) :: Win7 Inspiron 64 Bit Won't Recognize BB Drivers
Jun 13, 2010Have Inspiron 1700 Win 7, 64 bit computer. Recently got BB Bold. First ever BB. Installed latest desktop manager. Plugged in BB and get error message saying device drivers not found. Browsed to folder where divers are installed and get Error Code 10. Problem has RIM stumped. Computer works fine and devices installs fine on XP computer.

I just decided to post this since there were several people asking for it. Once you have saved this profile. Make sure you select it. Once it's selected it works for both MMS and Internet.

Aug 21, 2010I have a Samsung gravity from t-mobile which I unlocked before moving to the Netherlands.
Unable to connect to the internet and found out that I have to change the wap/apn settings to:

Poort: ---
MMSC: http://mp.mobiel.kpn/mmsc
MMS-Proxy: 10.10.100.20
MMS-poort: 5080

APN-Type: default (small letters!)
My question is: Where do I put in this information? Do I need to install another firmware and how do I do that? I've been looking around on this forum and I'm sure the answer must be there somewhere, but I can't find it.

You will now have the USB drivers for modem and composite USB device.
(BitPim will detect the phone as "Other CDMA Phone," but will not provide access to the file system. Still looking for software that can use the drivers to actually access the file system.)
