Samsung :: Instinct - Where I Could Find The USB Drivers?
Apr 11, 2010
Seems sprint's drivers page will not give up the drivers anymore. Can some email me or point out where I could find the USB drivers? I have the mass storage one but I need the other.
A couple years ago my wife bought a Samsung Instinct M810. I flashed the phone to Verizon so she could use PagePlus. Everything has been working fine but the phone has really been beaten up. About the only thing that still works is the speed dial function.
A few days ago I found another Instinct in mint condition for her. I have been trying to flash it to Verizon with limited luck. I activated the phone with PagePlus and received a phone number ( I was planning on porting her number when I had everything working). The phone connects to Verizon but it can't connect to OTP. If I dial a number I get connected to Verizon with the message "Welcome to Verizon, unfortunately we cannot identify your phone, etc."
The problem is that when I dial *22890 (or any *228xx number)the signal bars vanish and there is an indicator showing no service and the call is dropped. After the call is dropped the signal returns and I can again connect to Verizon. I have tried several PRL's, even the one on my wife's current phone but it doesn't make any difference. I didn't have this much trouble with her other phone so I am at a loss.
i had this phone for a while, and I work on a farm so the screen got scratched cuz i didnt take good enouch care of the phone, so i bough a replacement touch screen off of ebay and received it, so i got the phone apart and installed it only to turn my phone back on and find out i cant get any signal watsoever, why i cant get any signal
I have a Samsung Instinct flashed to Verizon wireless, I was wondering how i could get internet working on it? I see in other forums that people got metropcs internet on this phone so it shouldnt be too hard to put verizon on here right?
I followed the instructions on how to flash my Instinct over to the Cricket network. http://ucanflash.com/samsung-instinct-S30.html
Now the only issue I am having is registering my ESN to their network in order to use it. I am somewhat confused as to how I am supposed to do so. I called the customer service number provided on their web site and asked the young lady what I needed to do in order to use my phone on their network. She really didn't understand what I was asking, but she did promptly try to sell me a new package with a free phone. I need some clarification on this subject in order to finish the setting up of this phone.
I stopped at the part where you have to change your ESN: "After changing your SPC code to six zeros "000000" and writing the new Cricket PRL on to the phone, do the ESN change through Cricket (ESN = Electronic Serial Number)". I want my daughter to be able to use this phone since it has given me such good service since I have had it for almost a year. I know they do work on the Cricket network because I have done my research, but I need some input from those of you who have inside information on how the process works with the activation of the phone.
I have a instinct that has a power button that doesn't work. I looked inside the phone and the mini ribbon with the 2 traces was damaged. Is there any way to replace that, or where to get a replacement ribbon?
I bought an Instinct M800 from Ebay and it came with a "user locked password" and the seller doesn't seem to remember what it is. The MEID is clean so I don't believe it to be stolen. My problem is, how do I remove the password? I've tried for hours entering random 4 digit passwords and nothing so far. I ended up buying a data cable for the phone but I can't seem to get the phone to load/connect with Vista, be it a driver issue, or because the phone is locked.
I have been using google and this forum's seach feature to try to get the answer to my question, but I've read different things and ended up confused.First of all, I have unlocked my Spring Samsung and uploaded the 01040 Cricket PRL and it seems to be working because when I dial 611 I get a message from Cricket. Over the air programming doesn't seem to work when dialing *228, and from reading threads I am guessing I will have to do it manually.I am confused as to at what step do I call Cricket Customer service to get some info I need. Plus, from reading another topic someone said I need to get the min#, mdn#, and sid# http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...nstinct-please from Cricket CS, is this correct? Or what info do I need to ask Cricket CS in order to continue to QPST configuration?
I am assisting a good friend of mine with flashing his Instinct to Metro. His Instinct went down and he bought another on ebay. I am trying to save him a few dollars as he has a lot on his plate with his mortgage and all. I owned an Instinct at one time so I am familiar with the "debug menu" etc. I am also pretty tech savvy and am always tweaking my devices...however have never flashed a phone. I understand I may need QTSP...If you have a link for download it would be appreciated. If you have a link to a step by step or could pass on instructions it would be greatly appreciated.
i have been looking for the lock code under Menu> 3 > * > lock code:=? i have tried 450667 but it will not work! does anyone have a list of the codes? another thing i have a Sprint Samsung instinct that i just flashed over to metro i fixed the web and now need to fix the mms. if i could get into that menu in my messenger it would show me the settings.
I have what is probably one of the first Blackberries. I had lost it and just recently found it and am trying to find software/drivers that will actually work with it. All I can find is this Ver.6.0 and nothing happens with it.Anybody know where I can get drivers for the original RIM Blackberry? I have no idea where to even find out what the model number is
I have a Verizon LG enV3. It came with a usb data cable and my XP Pro 64bit PC does not want to recognize it. I think I need the lg-vx9200 drivers, but am unable to find them.So I pose a few questions.
1. Is the cable that came with the phone able to be used with bitpim & for charging?
2. Where can I find the drivers for the usb cable?
3. Will bitpim, and the cable drivers work with my XP pro 64 bit?
My old 5310 had no problems connecting through bluetooth or cable to my PC. Now I updated to a X6 and nothing but issues connecting. The bluetooth works sometimes, when it feels like it, when it doesn't work and I disable bluetooth on the phone, I can't enable it again, it just says something along the lines it can't execute bluetooth operation. First time I experienced it, I gave up and a little later I tried again, bluetooth enabled as normal and immediately connected and worked as normal.
Then I try to connect through USB cable, on which it only tries to find drivers (which it used to have when I first got the phone) and eventually I get a message the phone is still transferring files (which it isn't) and I need to enable PC Suite mode while that's what it's on. I think there's something very wrong with the software.
Basically my original HTC One got quite damaged, and so I bought a slightly used unlocked version (one where the screen and case wasn't near destroyed, as my original). However, since getting the phone I have constantly been trying to hook it up to PC via USB cable in order to, simply, transfer some music. My computer will not recognise my new phone as a htc (only "Android Phone"). It will also not allow me to find (automatically/manually) the drivers.
Now this is pretty much the same problem with both phones, so I highly doubt it is a fault with the new one I just purchased. I have tried multiple usb ports in my computer, searched the entire internet for answers, downloaded drivers and manually tried to find them to no avail, uninstalled/reinstalled the sync manager numerous times but it still will not find the phone. I cannot understand this at all. It's always been as easy as, attaching a usb cable and then even using WMP to sync music files, or even drag them in manually. But my computer will not recognise any HTC one, or allow me to find the drivers.
Where I can find Window XP drivers for a Samsung SCH-U310 Phone (Knack) that actually work. I tried a few that were suppose to work but they weren't compatable with the phone?
I have had the Samsung ACE I325 for about 2 days now and I have been searching for a way to get the modem drivers working on vista. I have tried samsung pc Sync software and I cant find out how to download Sprint mobile broadband to try that. Does anyone have any ideas on this matter?
Double-click to start install, this will install the USB drivers
IMPORTANT: When the drivers are done installing, the main installer for VZW Access Manager will present its first window, CANCEL out of the install at this point.
You will now have the USB drivers for modem and composite USB device.
(BitPim will detect the phone as "Other CDMA Phone," but will not provide access to the file system. Still looking for software that can use the drivers to actually access the file system.)
I recently acquired this phone without the necessary driver's disk. So when I connect to the computer the message"found New hardware Samsung CDMA technologies" appears. Have yet not been able to find the necessary driver. Found on this forum that I can download same from :-www.susteen.com ata a cost. I thought there would be a link to Saumsung UK where one can download such vital software.
I have a restore from sprint. Looking for the drivers so I can use bitpim. Can anyone help I have looked for a few days and can't seem to find the drivers for this phone.
Where can I find these drivers? I'd like to be able to transfer files between the phone and computer and also I'd like to tether my laptop. When I plug in the phone I get SAMSUNG_android in my device manager as an unknown device and Windows can't find drivers for it. On Samsung Canada's website I can't find the drivers anywhere or even a link to PC Studio. No luck on the US site either since apparently this phone isn't even offered there yet.
I currently own a Samsung A720...I'm looking for the drivers so i can put my own ring tones, wallpapers etc on my phone...If someone has something that'll work with it id greatly appreciate it lot.
I am running windows 7 starter. I update my device so installed kies and update, got interrupted somehow and soft bricked. Sent it off to samsung who told me to just be careful when using kies. Tried then to install software using odin and it is bricked again!rom numerous conversations with a fellow giffgaffer have determined that it is a driver problem. Apparently I should have 'samsung composite device (abd) listed and I don't. I plug it in my netbook and some times I get 'samsung composite device' (no abd) and when I go into device manager it always has a yellow triangle next to it.
Most of the time I get 'unknown device' or 'gadget serial' in manager and when I try and update drivers it says they are up to date, manually I can find samsung composite usb driver and then I get one of two things 'software found but could not install' (error 10) or 'windows stopped the device working' (error 43.) have tried installing kies, uninstalling kies, installing samsung device driver for mobile phones. Nothing has worked. I have exactly the same results on my desktop pc, running 7 home premium so I don't think it is a usb port problem.
