I have had the Samsung ACE I325 for about 2 days now and I have been searching for a way to get the modem drivers working on vista. I have tried samsung pc Sync software and I cant find out how to download Sprint mobile broadband to try that. Does anyone have any ideas on this matter?

I recently acquired this phone without the necessary driver's disk. So when I connect to the computer the message"found New hardware Samsung CDMA technologies" appears. Have yet not been able to find the necessary driver. Found on this forum that I can download same from :-www.susteen.com ata a cost. I thought there would be a link to Saumsung UK where one can download such vital software.

When I plug in the phone I get SAMSUNG_android in my device manager as an unknown device and Windows can't find drivers for it. On Samsung Canada's website I can't find the drivers anywhere or even a link to PC Studio. No luck on the US site either since apparently this phone isn't even offered there yet.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running windows 7 starter. I update my device so installed kies and update, got interrupted somehow and soft bricked. Sent it off to samsung who told me to just be careful when using kies. Tried then to install software using odin and it is bricked again!rom numerous conversations with a fellow giffgaffer have determined that it is a driver problem. Apparently I should have 'samsung composite device (abd) listed and I don't. I plug it in my netbook and some times I get 'samsung composite device' (no abd) and when I go into device manager it always has a yellow triangle next to it.
Most of the time I get 'unknown device' or 'gadget serial' in manager and when I try and update drivers it says they are up to date, manually I can find samsung composite usb driver and then I get one of two things 'software found but could not install' (error 10) or 'windows stopped the device working' (error 43.) have tried installing kies, uninstalling kies, installing samsung device driver for mobile phones. Nothing has worked. I have exactly the same results on my desktop pc, running 7 home premium so I don't think it is a usb port problem.
I am with Cricket and tried for long time to use my mobile web plan on my samsung u340 for my computer with no luck. I already installed the driver for windows 7 and able to communicate with the phone with no problem; I have my USB cable for the U340; I followed the instrudtions on the web and set up a dialup networking for my PC. Username is the (10 digits of my cell)@mycricket.com, password is "cricket", the dial number is "#777". I always got "Error 678". I called cricket and they said I need to get in their boardband plan $45/mo. and get the USB modem in order to have internet on my PC. One reason I pay more for the mobile web is trying to use it on my PC, otherwise I will not do the mobile web since it takes forever to send an email with the phone.Is it because of the Samsung u340 won't work with the #777 OR I did something wrong?Any help will be appreciated

CALLING SIDE:
PC running Hyperterminal and T439 connected to PC with either Bluetooth or USB cable.
CALLED SIDE:
PC running Hyperterminal and either an internal PC data modem or a cellphone connected
with a USB cable.
CALLING SIDE: ATDT1234567 data (NOT voice) phone number of CALLED side
CALLED SIDE: RING ATA answer
CALLING SIDE: CONNECT 9600 data modems connected
CALLED SIDE: CONNECT
CALLING SIDE: type on keyboard to send data to CALLED side sending data is OK
CALLED SIDE: sees data that CALLING side typed
CALLING SIDE: does NOT see data that CALLED side typed receiving data FAILS
CALLED SIDE: type on keyboard to send data to CALLING side
When I use a MOTOROLA V3T instead of SAMSUNG SGH-T439, sending and receiving data is OK. Samsung technical Level 3 help says it is a carrier (T-MOBILE) problem. It does not seem to be a carrier problem if it works with a MOTO cellphone.
Does anyone know of a setting that will let this phone work as modem?I have the driver and dial up networking setup but no matter how I dial it it always says error 777 other computer not responding. I think something in the settings default disables it being used as a modem.Any ideas? Maybe something in the *#6984125*# menus?

After installing PC Suite when first connecting my C5.00 my PC(win7 64 bit ultimate) consistently fails to load the drivers for:
USB OBEX
MTB USB Device
USB Phonet
USB LCIF
Subsequently I cannot use PC suite or OVi suite. I have tried uninstalling PC suite but each time I start again the same thing happens, even if I change USB ports.I have successfully loaded same drivers on my Samsung laptop (WIN 7 64 bit home premium) using the same cable and can connect to PC suite OK.

The first is that I have the desktop app which supposeduly was supposed to install these automatically, and second was that the first time I saw this error, I had it plugged into the wall via a USB -> AC adapter. So, no computer involved.I'm getting seriously frustrated, because I've already had to take the phone back twice for replacement and a new battery.
