Last night i decided to restore my 3GS to 3.1.3 from 3.1.2 and when i tried to sync my apps back it would not sync them to the phone, it would show the progress bar go really fast but its impossible for something to install that fast since some apps i have are about 100-200 mb. I have the latest version of itunes(9.1.1.12) and i tried using different ports on my laptop, i tried rebooting both my phone and laptop and that did not help either. Any ideas on what to do

I hook it to my computer and itunes comes up and says it has detected a iphone in recovery mode. It asked if I want to restore so I hit restore button and it starts extracting. When done extracting, a messages comes up and says this iphone can not be restored error 1656. What can I do now? I bought this phone new in October. It has not been damaged in anyway. It started one morning after charging all night.

When I downloaded Facebook Version 3.0 my icon disappeared. I made sure to have my icons on Show All. I tried deleting and reinstalling FB but still the icon is missing. I checked my applications list and it is showing as installed...I even downloaded the newest update for FB and still the icon is missing.

I think the receptacle must be broken in the iPhone itself. I have searched all over to try to find the answer to this with no luck. I do not want to tether my iphone or transfer files wirelessly over BT. I merely want to set up my phone as a PHONE via bluetooth to my computer so that I can use it as a microphone on Skype and on OC. I can connect the phone but it fails even when I have installed the peripheral driver. My computer sees the phone but it will not pair.

I plugged my phone into the computer (Dell, Windows 7) and the window that popped up asked if I wanted updates. I clicked install. Then another window said it was unable to install as I needed the latest update of itunes. I thought I had that on my phone! my iphone 3gs was previously 3.1.2 firmware and i used my brother laptop that already had blackra1n installed so i used it and it looked fine then it just got bricked? it just doesnt turn on and when i plug it in computer it just says its in recovery mode and needs to be recovered.
so i thought i would just recover it to 3.1.3 but i wanted to avoid that step and go straight to 3.1.2 so that i can instantly jailbreak it correctly this time. i search around Internet and find a download for 3.1.2 firmware and i follow the steps and im supposed to do shift+and click restore on itunes and browse the download all looks swell until when it says preparing for recovery and it just comes with the (1600) error code.
I have iphone app dl to different computer, some mac at work, some pc at home...etc. Some machine i don't even able to access anymore and i forget what app i put there.
Are there anyway, i can re-dl all my app to 1 machine all at once? or i need to check all my email/invoice and then re-dl one by one?
Also can i copy some of the app i dl at work to a flash drive and copy it back to my pc at home, does it work that way?( they both are under my acct).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got a HTC One. When I plug it into my laptop to charge, it does silent. The profile is normal and I've picked a nice loud ringtone to make sure I hear it (Dare from the Transformers 1986 Soundtrack).
I'm no more than a few feet from it and no matter how loud I set the ringer, it just won't let me know when a call is coming through besides a tiny little vibration.
How do you set it so that it's as loud charging off the laptop as it is when it;s in your pocket?
