I connect my iphone to my pc using usb cable. Itune won't recognize the i-phone 50% of the times that i connect. When it does recognize the phone, it hangs (the little circle goes round and round forever).

I cannot connect to any wifi network. When I turn my wifi on it doesn't recognize a single wifi network in my neighborhood or at work. My other devises work on my network, including my ipad, personal laptop and work laptop. Nothing on my network has changed in since it was installed years ago and this phone has worked previously. Last night i decided to restore my 3GS to 3.1.3 from 3.1.2 and when i tried to sync my apps back it would not sync them to the phone, it would show the progress bar go really fast but its impossible for something to install that fast since some apps i have are about 100-200 mb. I have the latest version of itunes(9.1.1.12) and i tried using different ports on my laptop, i tried rebooting both my phone and laptop and that did not help either. Any ideas on what to do
