Xperia X10 :: Restore The Thin 1.6 Notification Bar?

This is probably fairly unlikely, but I miss some of the old 1.6 features on the X10, such as the app drawer that slid to open, and the thinner notification bar. Both have changed between 1.6 and Android 2.1, and I'd be happy to see the possibility of restoring those somehow (even as optional features) either as in a future update for the 2.1 OS or for inclusion in the update to 2.3. When I bought my X10 one of the things I liked about it was specifically the thin bar.

I'm trying to add a thin "slide to unlock" bar to my lockscreen, I currently have just an invisible slide to unlock one. Any ideas how I can do this?

have problem when u view lighter colored pictures like the sky or complete white screen then there are thin parallel lines passing across the screen. also the fone gets heated up alot while playing games/ surfing net and the battery drains out within 3 to 4 hrs. i hav updated my firmware over to air via gprs. my firmware is 013.016?

I've been seeing a mysterious black thin line across my LCD screen.Sometimes it apeears for longer than five minutes.I have not dropped my phone and I have a screen protector over it.

Bold 9900 camera pictures all come out with thin horizontal blue line across them, the line is visible on screen when using viewfinder, no line on screen when not in camera mode

Wondering if anyone else has experienced 5-10 thin blue lines/streaks in their display (red on a black background). I first noticed the issue when using my Kindle app a few months ago. Eventually they disappeared but now they've returned. It has been several days and like last time, don't go away with a device reboot or reset.

I'm using the bold 9900 and I got it just over a month ago. Four days ago I noticed a thin black line flickering across the screen and I thought It would go away because the phone didn't drop. This morning, it became two thin black lines.I have no clue how it came about or how to fix it and its really distracting. I updated my OS to the latest one and I also updated my BBM to the 6.1 beta. The phone didn't drop, the line just came out of nowhere.

My Bold 9780 has a white screen with two thin red lines down it, I have tried doing the update as per blackberry solutions on pc, however it says 'no updates found' and the problem remains. I must admit that I tapped the phone in frustration and the screen was back to normal. For a while obviously there is a connection problem somewhere.

Suddenly I have a thin white line on the left side of the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S II about 1/8 of an inch from the side. It is on all screens (most noticeable on dark screens).So far it doesn't get in the way of using the phone.But it is very annoying on an othewise awesome screen.

I had faced this issue when i last updated my phone when the 2.1 had come out.. I installed the latest Backup and Restore application as recomended by the SE update site.. Then backed up my files onto an already existing backup (which i think has corrupted the backup), hence overwriting the file.. After that i upgraded to 2.1 and restored my files, which failed because the contacts were not successfully imported (even though the Backup and Restore app said that the import was succesful.)
i was asked to repair the firmware using PC companion and hence want to backup succesfully without any problems. I cant risk loosing my contacts again. And i want to know from others in this forum if they have faced this issue on normal backup (not overwritten on an existing backup). [URL]

My iphone stopped working. I can only see a thing white line on the screen and the screen does not respond at all although turning the phone on vibrate makes it vibrate. The screen has been cracked for some time but has worked fine until today.

my Blackberry screen randomly has two thin lines on its screen. It's not actually the outer screen, just the inside with the graphics. I recently noticed those lines and I just find it annoying to see.

I have a Xperia X10 Mini pro and suddenly my notification led turned always on, even when the cellphone is off the led is on and i can't turn it off. I have tried restarting it, removing the battery, restarting the system with the PC Companion and nothing works.

I was deleting a sms thread from a particular person, when at the same time, this person sent me a SMS. I was not able to open the SMS by tapping on the envelope icon on the notification, however I am able to clear it from the notification. BUT each time I receive a SMS this notification pops up again, so each time i have to clear this msg. What can i do to get rid of it?

Is it possible to request that you add a heads up notification to the native SMS app?
I mean, it's android 5.0.2 now on most sony devices and it would be awesome if the app took advantage of that and expand the notifications options from a simple "mark read" to also add a quick reply box.

Since I have got my Xperia Z3 SO-01G, the facebook app has function properly. Every notification was counted and showed on app icon as number. Then I have installed app call "Xperia Unread" in order to do the counting on the others app: eg, Line, Gmail, Google+ etc. Then apparently, number on FB app has stop showing. I have tried every setting on it but nothing was working. However, all apps that were enable with Xperia Unread, work very well.

I have just changed phones from a HTC 610 to a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.
In the days of my HTC's (3 of them) I used to always get a notification sound when I sent an SMS.
With the new Z5 Compact this does not happen, I do get a little message saying "Sent" for a moment and a little green arrow flashes up for a few seconds.
Not having the best of sight, or when outdoors, I am often unable to tell if the SMS actually went out. Is there a way to get a short tone to let me know that the message went out? I just can't seem to find a setting.
Not sure if this is an Android issue (current is 5.1.1, previous 4.2 and earlier) or if it is a Sony Z5 issue.

Over all the sound on the z3 is good. It's loud when turn up the volume on music and videos but for some reason the notifications tone is lower than when I select it to preview. I did check the audio settings and made sure the notification Sounds are at max. The clear audio etc. And it's seems like it's just a few notches to low.

When I upgraded my sony z3 to lollipop my notification bar started sliding down itself and the all the apps like settings and power management starting to open. When I rotate the phone to any side the screen's touch part on the Sony logos sides touch screen part automatically starts..

My Z2 keeps switching itself off when there is a notification. This doesn't happen every time, but when it does happen, I will need to plug it to the charger to turn the device on again.

My Ray is on 2.3.4. No apps installed. If there is one SMS or one call, the LED would work. However, if one more SMS comes in, the LED would not blink. Same for more calls and combination of calls + SMS.However, this behavious is only observed partially. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't.
