Of some reason I've got Korean Keybord in my Xperia X10...! I have no idea how it got there either All menues and similar are in english, as it should, but when typing in Notepad or writing SMS the Keyboard is in Korean.

i updated my phone to 2.1 last week . Today when i went to call someone all of my contacts had dissapeared and the writing keyboard had changed to a korean key board,i also find i have a japanese,chinese and korean keyboard in the text settings section.
I don't know how this happened and how can i delete these keyboards as all i can do is text in korean. I have followed the instructions to change settings but still no luck
Can anyone tell me how to get my SMS settings back to UK. I have been onto Locale/Text but nothing is happening! I have English letters but have Korean symbols to change text to numbers etc. and lost the bar above the letters giving me word suggestions etc. I have switched off, removed battery and sim but still reverts back. Have TP Korean Keyboard icon but cannot remove or manage application.

What I want to accomplish, is to write Korean, but I do not want to change menus etc to Korean. I have tried a number of keyboard apps from the Play Store, but none of them support the SYM key and the globe key on the hardware keyboard (and some didn't support HW keyboard at all). I've also tried changing the HW keyboard as described on xda dev [URL]. Is there a way to add Korean to the writing languages of the stock keyboard, or do I need a custom ROM?

I plugged it into both my desktop and laptop running Windows 7 and it correctly identified the device as LG SU-430 but neither has the driver and as a result, she's unable to charge the phone.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I first got the Xperia 10 the standard english keyboard had the question mark and exclamation mark on the front screen, as well as an option to select a range of different emoticons.All of a sudden I now have a really basic looking keypad, and I have to go to another screen to access ? and Also, the word prompter was much bigger on the previous keyboard, and there was an arrow option.Now I can't go to a certain point when texting using arrows either, which is weird.I have tried looking up manuals and all it tells me to do is select standard keyboard, which I have done - there don't appear to be any other options to change the look and feel of keyboard.

I want my old English keyboard back, where if I press on the keyboard I get keyboard settings, not it changing into Mandarin instead.
