today i finally bought Fifa for this nice phone, but i was REALLY disappointing that i couldnt use my keyboard to control it! View 1 RepliesWith my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.

When on my way to and from work, I always have my headphones in and am listening to music. Answering calls is a breeze, simply tap the button on my inline mic and the call is answered. To make a call however, I need to take the phone out of my pocket, unlock the phone (using password) and then either use Google voice to place the call (but since i've made it this far and the phone is in my hand i usually just find the contact and make the call using my fingers). It would be ideal if I could simply activate the Google voice functions without taking the phone out of my pocket, unlocking, and then use the voice functionality to do a search or make a call.Â

Currently when I hold down the button on my headphones and the phone is locked I get the message "to do a Google voice search, please unlock your phone".Â

Ideally the functionality would be acessible without having to unlock the phone. Is there a setting I can change to add this? Are there specific headphones that alow this? Can I verbally give my password to unlock the phone and then use the voice functionality?Â

The whole goal here is to not have to take the phone out of my pocket and manually enter my password.

Since the xperia z 3 is a big phone and I carry it in my pocket all the time, sometimes it's really hard to reach the phone to lover or increase the music level. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have Z2 with latest 5.0 build (28). 1-2 days since i updated my phone, camera app stopped working. I open it and it's just a black screen with control buttons. It doesn't  make pictures. I tried to reset my phone with PCC, but problem stayed. I downloaded other camera apps from Play Market and they also didn't work, then i turned off stock camera app (in settings) and other camera apps worked fine. When i turn stock camera app back it works for some hours and then again black screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAbout an hour ago my phone started acting weird. Everytime I tried to use the keyboard it closed whatever I was doign down (I was trying to send a text, but it closed down google and anything else I tried to experiment using the keyboard with).
So I tried turning it off and on again. Then I took the battery out for a couple of minutes (and put it back in)I was just thinking about a system reset when it stopped turning on. I get a couple of flashing red lights sometimes. Occasionally it turns on, same keyboard problem, black screen within a minute.
I try and use the PC companion to update the software, but it connects, then tells me to pull the bar down from the top and click connect - there is no bar. It's just the charging screen. Turning the phone back on disconnects it.
i update the ICS using the update service but i got and belgian firmware with an azerty keyboard although.
