IPhone :: Space Out The Music Control Buttons On The Lock Screen?
Mar 30, 2012I am constantly pressing the rewind or fast forward button when trying to pause or play the audio by using the controls on the lock screen. I normally listen to audio podcasts or audio books, and these are usually 2 hours plus long. When you hit the FFW button it's not a big issue and it will retain it's place, but if you are in the middle of an 11 hour audio book and you hit the rewind button it takes you all the way back to the beginning. That works properly, but I am constantly hitting the RWD or FFW button because they are so close to the play button.

Motorola Xoom :: How To Control Music When Screen Locked
Sep 11, 2011I don't want to prevent xoom from going black after inactivity but I use it at my office to play music and I don't like having to unlock it each time I want to skip a song or change volume or pause it. How you deal with this screen lock and if there a music player better to deal with the lock on the xoom (I'm using the default android 3.1 player). Also not all my mp3 have good identifier so to be able to find them to play, I would like to have a folder browser list to play folders. What players you recommend for this scenario?

1) no notifications are displayed on my lock screen even for missed calls or sms's .. there is no any icon or symbol that informs me if i have missed any call or received a message ; and i have to unlock my phone every time to check
in the Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> i selected the option to show all the notifications.. but nothing changed
2) also on the lock screen , not widget for the walkman or the sound cloud to enable me to pause the players or to navigate to the next song

May 26, 2015I have Z2 with latest 5.0 build (28). 1-2 days since i updated my phone, camera app stopped working. I open it and it's just a black screen with control buttons. It doesn't make pictures. I tried to reset my phone with PCC, but problem stayed. I downloaded other camera apps from Play Market and they also didn't work, then i turned off stock camera app (in settings) and other camera apps worked fine. When i turn stock camera app back it works for some hours and then again black screen.

I use llama app on my phone to trigger events and have tried setting a trigger using the music app to trigger the screen lock to disable but it doesn't work. Problems that we experience on all three phones are as follows; If I look at the video file and turn the phone 90 degrees (it does not matter if I turn it left or right), then screen lock lock the screen immediately. I can not unlock the phone as long as the phone is in the same position. I have to turn it back 90 degrees for it to go to unlock it. The same happens even if I want to play games and have to turn my phone 90 degrees, or if I want to photograph or record a film. If I do not turn my phone 90 degrees, then everything works as it should, but it is supposed to be able to rotate the phone, depending on what you do without screen lock locks my phone immediately?

Jul 23, 2013when I got the first lollipop Update I had an option to disable the lock screen completely on my z3 compact, ever since this recent update to fix the bugs in lollipops it only gives me the option to set a slide lock screen or PIN or password but not completely disable it so if I try to use any third party lock screen I have to first unlock the Sony one before it will go to that one.
my other issue is with the throw, screen mirroring s only once since I've had this phone have I been able to scan and have devices come up I have a smart TV and that came up but everytime I try to do it now it just says no devices found every single time

Jul 3, 2010With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.

Mar 31, 2012My Ray's screen can't be turned on after every screen lock event. Any solution for this? I have reinstall my entire phone through SEUS and the same error is still occuring. Is is firmware problem or hardware problem. I can't believe this is happening as i always keep my phone under good condition and its just 4 months old. Dissapointing purchase.
p.s. The screen can be turned on if u keep trying to press the home button. Usually 8-15 minutes after the phone screen is locked. Face palm much.Is there any temporary solution because i urgently need to use my phone!
LG G3 :: Why Do Text Messages On Lock Screen Ignore DashClock As Default Lock Screen
Feb 24, 2015I've recently made the switch back to android from an iPhone after quite a few years and I'm trying to re-familiarize myself with android's operating system and work out what I need to change and using this phone I noticed the notifications lacking, so I set up DashClock and DashNotifier and so far I love it. It does exactly what I want it to do for all the apps I have set up with it except for the notifications coming through the 'Messages' app on the phone for text messages.
When receiving a text message my lock screen ignores that I've set up DashClock as my default lock screen and pulls up the original lock screen with the quite ugly 'New Message' notification (as seen in the attached picture). If I scroll to the right DashClock is open and showing the message notification just fine. I've tried to disable the lock screen notifications for the 'Messages' app but haven't been successful in removing it. Is there a way to just have the 'Messages' app give lock screen notifications on the top bar and none like in the image below, or is there a work around within DashClock/DashNotifier or some other application that would fix this? My phone is running Android 4.4.2.
