I have a fully up-to-date curve 9300 and blackberry desktop. I want to be able to read additional languages, specially Korean input. Is there anyway to do this that doesnt involve re-installing the OS?

im a 9360 user, i seted up for east asain language pack through blackberry desktop. however i only can read the laugages not typing. so i downloaded the all language pack from rim but my mac can't install it.could please let me know how i can set up using korean for input and display language

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've just started using my new BB 9700, but unfortunately I have chosen only the English language at the first setup step, so the Arabic language has been deleted.I have tried installing the BB Desktop Manager and tried to check the update Application section in order to remove or add language (as per lots of internet posts) but again I can't find any option at the Add/remove application except the downloaded extra applications (facebook, Live Messenger and BB Messenger)

Actually, there are blank spaces where languages were listed before update, with check marks, but without text (language name) visible. Although they can be checked (saying: "You have chosen multiple languages. Now using: english"), settings reset after each try.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was always the frustrated one, seeing leaked OS, but if I want to play with it, I had to sacrifice Chinese reading/writing ability. Well a bit of research got me into finally figuring out how to actually insert Chinese/Other Languages capability into any OS (especially leaked ones!). Mind you this is only for BB 9700. It's actually easier than I think =) Anyway, there are two ways to doing it. Installing it as a separate add-on (Simillar to BB Maps / Password Keeper type RIM app), or installing it with the OS. 100% sure the OS method works, .alx via app loader through DM seems to be a little buggy, still testing.

I used to be able to read and input chinese character on my Bold 9700.Few days ago, I connected my device to the desktop manager and it prompted me to update my device os to V5.0.0.593 (Bundle 1022, Platform 5.1.0.147). Ever since then, I am unable to read or input chinese characters.
I've read through the forum, did whichever I can find, and crashed my blackberry a few times as I think I loaded some 3rd party modules. I managed to wipe out the whole device and reload EastAsia pack (which I did at least 3 times) but am still unable to have my chinese characters on.
I am using 3G curve 9300, I am not able to read SMS's. I can see the 8unread messages icon on the left top corner. I called our local service providers, no use..I wasted tones of time.

So I'm unable to transfer all my media data from my BB to my laptop. However, I still can back up my BB contact, update my BB OS and make changes to my BB using the BB Desktop Manager.

My friends just sent me a message and I cannot click and read it. I cannot reply or do anything about the messages. Then I just delete the whole thing. View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased the $100 per year additional storage, however, upon purchasing it, my phone has still not upgraded to the additional storage and will not allow me to take anymore pics; it says go to settings & upgrade storage, I did that already, but it is still reading the old 5 storage bites. I do not know what else to do! I tried to reboot my phone, that did not work, after rebooting I thought perhaps if hooked it up to my laptop and tried to sync it that might help, it says itunes cannot sync due to not having enough storage, go to settings to upgrade storage.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.

I installed the Dutch language with the application loader.Than I went to "Languages" on the Blackberry, but I can only change the input language to Dutch.Should the installation add Dutch display aswell or does that depend on the carrier?
I am having some trouble adding a new MS Exchange email account through BIS to my blackberry that already has an enterprise activation (eg BES) to a different Exchange account. When I create the Exchange setup in BIS, the device never receives any email or calendar events from that account. Synchronized items only list "deleted" and nothing else.
This used to work before my corporate mail was migrated from Lotus Notes. Previous setup had BES activation with some kind of Notes conduit and I added the BIS setup for a new exchange account with a different company. This worked fine until corporate mail was moved to Exchange and I had to wipe my device and reactivate with a new BES.
Now the BIS setup just will not work. The account is created fine. I do not get any login errors. It says the account was successfully added. The problem is that the only item listed under "Enabled Synchronization Options" is Deleted items with a green checkmark. No other items are listed like Inbox or Sent.
The problem is my friend has a blackberry 8310 and she did ask me to find how to add additional language into her device. Let me tell you I own 8250 and did manage install additional language into mine, but will it be possible to use the same link and instructions on her device as well as I did use on mine? Or it has to be different just because we do have different series?
