Xperia X10 :: Arranging The Menu Icons?

I've been downloading many apps from Android Market and there are so many good ones, but also some others pretty awful. The thing is that unninstalling some apps from the phone leaves me gaps in the menu... I've got pages of the downer menu with only six icons, when the space allows 9. How can i re-arrange the icons to put them in order?? Is there an option in the phone as it comes, or do I have to download an app from the market?

I have had 2.1 for a few weeks, and must say I didnt think I was missing anything having 1.6. But its like having a new phone now I have 2.1 I love it.
But one thing that is really annoying is that it is all too easy to accidently go into the arrange icons mode by mistake without even realising it. Quite often I look at my phone and my address book, or calls have disapeared from the corners and now sit with the icons. Is it possible to extend the length of time needed for a long press?

I am change the menu to my phone to a left hand side bar, which I found very usefull, especially it gave me an extra icon than when the icon bar is on the top. I can change the shortcut from the menu fast enough, but can't change the icons under. Any body know the settings for it in the phone ? I tried to look in the profile etc.... can't see it.

Yesterday evening I had a weather forcast icon and something like a "look at more"-icon in my map menu.This morning I have updated the Denmark map.Now the abovementioned two icons are gone.What can I do at least to get back the weather forecast icon?

My Ovi Store app was on my menu screen, but when I updated it, it disappeared and it was placed in the folder "Collection". So I'm wondering, is it posibble to put the Ovi Store icon back on the menu screen again?

I just bought a Tour used. I havent activated it yet but through my laptop I installed all my info (contacts etc..) through the desktop manager. The service provider is Sprint. I have noticed that there are some apps/icons missing from the menu. Most importantly there is no web/internet icon/app and no BlackBerry app world icon/app. There are also others missing, Pandora, Sprint Nav, Sprint TV and a few others. These I am pretty sure I can download for free, but what about the web and app world? Why are they missing? Is it because the phone is not activated yet?

as you know within any screen on the phone when you press and hold the Blackberry button for less than 2 seconds it will bring up a "quick menu". Some icons are ALWAYS listed under this "quick menu" whether they are closed or not, such as BB messenger, Browser etc. Is there any way I can add or remove icons in this quick menu?

I have touch BB curve 9380, suddenly the options in any app have disappeared. E.g: Messages have no option of forward, reply etc., getting highlighted.

If I dont hit the trackpad really quick it will bring up a menu in the middle of the screen that says things like "switch application" or "full menu" is there a way to disable that or not make it come up unless I hold the track pad down for an extra couple seconds?

I just had a reapir of my E52 and 081.003 was installed. When I got it the main menu was there and I was able to switch between personal and professional Modi.Then I restored contacts etc from a backup from when it ran 071.014.Now it is impossible to switch btw. pers. and prof. modi. Even when I click the prof. modi it stays "personal".furthermore, the icons on the first page has disappeared, and it is no longer possible to add any in the modi menu, (there is no "data window" in the Program shorcuts entry, so there is no way to add entries).

How can I edit/replace apps in provided car dock menu? I know there are several 'add app here', but, like provided radio tuner is not much good here in AUS so I wanted to replace it with 'tunin' that works well, and, has local radio stations.

Icons in the menu were displayed in 2 pages earlier. But all of a sudden it changed to List View. I think some buttons were pressed when it is in my pocket.

i have a problem with my bb bold 9780. the folders in the main manu keep changing their names from german to english (my selected language is german). e.g. the games and the application folder, the rest has still its german name. and also there appear new icons, some with a question mark in it (but on top it says sounds), some i don't know. it seems to me, that my bb kind of splits folders and than some of the icons show up in the main menu.
this started yesterday and so i updated my bb. after this everything was fine again. i deleted some of the apps that were installed with the update (Internet, myspace, ...) and after the restart there was the same problem again. i installed some new apps (slide lock, games, themes and password lock) before and some time after the problem started. i don't know if this has any to do with it.

I googled all that I can and I'm still very fustrated. I want to be able to arrange my email accounts in a order that I want. Currently my phone chooses to list my email accounts as it sees fit. Now I've tried deleting all of my accounts and adding them in the order that I want them to be in but for some reason the phone just wont let me do this. I have 3 accounts, iCould, Gmail and Hotmail. And they are listed in that order. Now no matter what I do the Hotmail account ALWAYS says on the bottom of the list. Like i said I've deleted them all and added them accordingly but it does not work. I've tired to sync them thru iTunes but it does not show in the info tab.

Another very annoying thing is that everytime I open the mail app it opens to the iCould account by default. I want it to open to my primary account which is the Hotmail account.

Quick question just wondering if its possible to swap the contacts bar to the bottom of the screen where the apps. bar is rather than the top where it hides half the wallpaper? also one more thing is there a way to re-arrange the contacts on the contact bar without removing them all and readding them (if i wanted family hten friends or such..)if this post was useful in the least bit click the kudos button.

I just buy asha 202 ... i have a new nokia x3, around 2 months old, after restarting the phone one time, the main button (the menu button) works for locking/unlocking and even makes the keytone sound when you press it, but i cant open up the menu, its really annoying because without the menu i cannot access the phone! i can still make calls/text messages, but i really want to fix this.

When I hit the menu to do anything and scroll down to something in it I can hit the menu button again and it does the same as selecting it with the trackpad.Is anybody having this happen to them too. I don't know if it is something new because I came from an old 8330. I used to hit menu and if I hit menu again the menu would go away.

This is not the same post as the other "hiding icons." I checked. What I was wondering was; is there a way to hide the 8 icons I have showing at the bottom of my screen, until I touch the screen? The idea is when my phone isn't in use I would like the icons to go away. Sort of like a screen saver. It's a BB Storm 2, 9550.

I'm a new BB 8330m user (carrier is Sprint).I have an icon for Pocket Express (which came with the phone) on my screen that I can't remove. I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. The icon looks as though it is transparent.
