i updated my phone software on my x10 to android 2.3.3 since i done the update it will not read my memory card. all it keeps saying is sd card unmounted or not present. i have tried to repair the phone on the pc companion website but it will not let me as it says no card present. I have also have used the sony update site as well and reloaded the software twice once with the memory card in and once with out.

So, the files are still there. Is there a way to show the folders and files, because testdisk renames all the files.

I removed the SD card and checked it with my PC and everything is fine on that end. I'm at a loss at what to try next. View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.
I've recently lost all my pictures and music on my X6 , when I tried to upload them to my laptop it says on my phone screen 'memory card not present'.
View 1 Replies View Relatedsuddenly my SD card decided that it was going to disappear, and even though it's there, my phone is not detecting it. I pulled the battery, removed the SD card and plugged it into my computer via adapter (not phone) and was able to access it. I put the SD card back in my phone, power up then go to Settings>SD Card & phone storage and under 'Mount SD card' it says "Insert an SD card for mounting". Okay ... so a few days later I exchanged SD cards with a "droid" friend and she was able to detect my card in her phone, but again my phone is not detecting her card. Bummer... Also, when I plug my phone into my computer via USB to Mac I am unable to establish a connection. I am using Android File Transfer. I have tried to format SD card (FAT32) with Disk Utility and still nothing... So I'm almost convinced that my phone is damaged. It was working last week.

I have deleted the preloaded MP3 tracks from the nokia 5530 on my computer but if I go to the musicplayer and I choose artists for instance, I can still see the artists from the preloaded tracks. If I try to delete these maps, I receive an error. It's impossible to delete them. Does anyone know how I can delete them?

I have a BB data pack from Bell. The phone is a curve 8330 with OS 4.5.0.127. I checked the app properties and I don't see the net_rim_bb_lbs_ribbon module. How can I correct this problem.

I went into Settings > System > Phone, scrolled down to the bottom and changed "Choose the app you want to use to manage recorded phone calls" to "Voice Recorder" but when I am in a phone call there is no record button. T-Mobile is my provider and I do have 2 sims installed.

If I select the Hotspot Browser icon and then press the Menu key, I get kicked into the main menu. Have searched far and wide for the answer to this problem, but no luck. Most posts complaining about the Hotspot Browser are about getting a connection to the Internet. I am not even that far -- the browser simply doesn't load.I have a BB email plan and wifi. The wifi works fine for email with the mobile network turned off, so I know that my Wifi settings are fine.

I can see the files I want using "My Files" on the phone, but when I use Windows Explorer (Win10) with the phone connected over USB, the folders are empty. My initial reaction was fairly positive but I have a few questions and would be grateful for some advice please.First off, my old phone (N95) had an extremely handy Home Media Server feature. I would've thought the X6 would have something similar considering it is a multi-media type device. However, i'm unable to find such a feature. Could someone advise if Nokia have dropped the HMS for this model please?
Also, most of my passwords for internet logons and email etc were all created using a generator with random letters, numbers and characters. On my N95, I was able to copy/paste this info and save a lot of time when setting up mail accounts and other apps. I know the X6 does support copy/paste but the paste option isn't present for many password boxes. Is there a way around this please?

I have only internal memory to use, and SD card can not be used at all, I can download something or take picture, but it is not possible to rename, delete nor move it from the phone, the only way to do ANY at all crap with this so called new phone is when I safely remove SD card and connect it to PC, this lasts now over 5 months !!!
