Aug 15, 2012Whenever i connect my xperia neo v for charging the SD card will be unavailable and i will not be able to browse gallery for images stored in SD card.

Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: X10 Sd Card Unmounted Or Not Present
Jun 5, 2012i updated my phone software on my x10 to android 2.3.3 since i done the update it will not read my memory card. all it keeps saying is sd card unmounted or not present. i have tried to repair the phone on the pc companion website but it will not let me as it says no card present. I have also have used the sony update site as well and reloaded the software twice once with the memory card in and once with out.

Sep 30, 2010I unmounted the SD card and when I connected it to the computer to browse all the files and directories disappeared. I was able to recover them using testdisk. So, the files are still there. Is there a way to show the folders and files, because testdisk renames all the files.

Oct 16, 2014My SD card just randomly unmounted itself, and now the option to mount an SD card is greyed out. I removed the SD card and checked it with my PC and everything is fine on that end. I'm at a loss at what to try next. I've already tried restarting in safe mode, and restarting the phone, but still no option to mount an SD card.

Feb 11, 2015I am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.

Apr 18, 2011it seemed like a dodgey connection at first because if you just touched the charger it would start or stop charging. Its got to the point now where the charger does not work at all so i have borrowed another charger with the same connector this worked fine but with the same problems as before but now the phone will not charge at all. The charge light comes on on the phone but the percentage charge on the phone screen just keeps going down and not charging. I cannot take it back to 02 as i did not take out any insurance with them and its way over the 30 day guarantee.

Mar 21, 2012My phone is around over a month as of today. Suddenly my phone malfunction for unknown issue. Here's my story, i using my xperia neo v last monday morning around 13:30AM (3/19) without any issues and then i decided to go to sleep around 11AM. I leave my phone power on after around 12PM i half wake and check my phone and i see that the 3G connection is "ON" so i turn it off since it will drain my battery fast. After that i went back to sleep and i woke up around 6PM same day. I check my phone and there's no power and im thinking maybe the battery is fully drain then i quickly charge my phone after i plug the charger in AC socket there's no orange light on my phone below the power button. Until today my phone still not working 3/22 but i notice that when i press and hold the power button the oreange light blinks for 1 to 3 time but no display showing on my screen.

Aug 25, 2012I'm having a problem with an Xperia X8.First off, I should explain that it's second hand, and there's the possibility that the warranty period is over already (most likely the case).
The phone is running on 2.1, the latest update for X8. But the phone doesn't charge when it's plugged. Whenever I use USB or a charger, the orange light comes on quite alright. But the battery status stays as 'Discharging'.I know there are several forums and such that probably have answers, but the problems I've been seeing have differed in one way or the other (for example one person said his battery stayed at 30%-31% and sometimes wipes out to 5%) so I'm skeptical about trying the solutions lest I do some big harm to the phone.Presently I'm using an external charger, meaning I have to remove my battery each time I want to charge it, leaving my phone switched off for the duration. You can imagine how uncomfortable this is. I should probably note that my battery has managed to hit 78% with the external charger, but I also fear that continuously using the external charger will get the battery bad at some point.
There's no update for the phone again. Is there anything I can do to get this battery solution fixed? Maybe repair phone software or something like that?

I also do not have access to a computer that I can download stuff to at the moment.I received the X10 last night from my girlfriends mother as she got an upgrade, I believe she had no problems at all with the phone.It turned on fine and seemed to have quite good battery last night, but I needed a SIM card.This morning I went to the shop to buy a SIM and the phone worked seconds before getting it but after the SIM was inserted would not turn on or charge. (and being an idiot got the wrong network could his contribute to the problem?)

Nov 1, 2012So i've been having a really hard time trying to charge my xperia x8, i've tired using new cables and battery, the cables and the charger work because i've tried them with my mom's phone and the battery's brand new so it should work.
It's been like this since the time my mobile's battery finished, after that i've been trying to charge it and nothing seems to work. (Oh, and the mobile doesn't show or blink any red or green light when i try to charge it and i can't seem to connect it to my laptop even if the mobile seems to work just fine.)
