Just this morning i was in the middle of playing a game on my phone when a message pop up saying my memory card was unmounted. I went to check and try to mount it again it says the card is blank and if i want to format the card. Did the card just went bad or did something else happened? Also is there a free program i can try to get my media back?
View 3 RepliesI am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.
i updated my phone software on my x10 to android 2.3.3 since i done the update it will not read my memory card. all it keeps saying is sd card unmounted or not present. i have tried to repair the phone on the pc companion website but it will not let me as it says no card present. I have also have used the sony update site as well and reloaded the software twice once with the memory card in and once with out.

So, the files are still there. Is there a way to show the folders and files, because testdisk renames all the files.

I removed the SD card and checked it with my PC and everything is fine on that end. I'm at a loss at what to try next. I've already tried restarting in safe mode, and restarting the phone, but still no option to mount an SD card.

It is not deleted by me or any other person. Is there any option to get back all those messages. One more thing, in Nokia C5 there is no option to mute the sound of the camera.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message. Can anyone please tell me how to move apps from the phone memory to the card memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

Lastly, I noticed that when I call people using my Curve, it shows up on their caller ID as "private name, private number." Where can I change this setting? Is it in my provider's settings (which I can access online) or on the BlackBerry's settings somewhere? Also, is it possible to at least NOT have it show private when calling those on my address book, such as friends & relatives?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have come to 'Memory Low ' error message and have a question about that.I am not using additional applications, just default ones.I am not using mail.I clean web cache.What I have though is a lot of Saved Pages. As I noticed that my memory is geting low, I deleted my music using File manager and deleted some Saved pages. Problem is that used memory is still the same like it was before I deleted the files. I suppose that my deleted files gone to recycle bin or something like that? How can I REALY delete it (without reset)? And another question: Is there a way to save (transfer) 'Saved Pages' to memory card?
