My initial reaction was fairly positive but I have a few questions and would be grateful for some advice please.First off, my old phone (N95) had an extremely handy Home Media Server feature. I would've thought the X6 would have something similar considering it is a multi-media type device. However, i'm unable to find such a feature. Could someone advise if Nokia have dropped the HMS for this model please?
Also, most of my passwords for internet logons and email etc were all created using a generator with random letters, numbers and characters. On my N95, I was able to copy/paste this info and save a lot of time when setting up mail accounts and other apps. I know the X6 does support copy/paste but the paste option isn't present for many password boxes. Is there a way around this please?
Is it possible to re-order or edit the "share" option in android.by default it arrange the apps to alphabetical order..
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia X10 mini got switched off automatically and since then it is showing that "sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, with an option tab for 'Force close'." And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.

I have also have used the sony update site as well and reloaded the software twice once with the memory card in and once with out.

A corporete policy gets pushed to my phone and I need to accept it. OK, no problem ... I accept it, but the Lock screen settings ( under Settings -> Location And Security -> Change Lock Screen ) only allows the "Password" option, saying the other options,e.g. the PIN way is remotely disabled by administrator, although that is NOT the case. I've double checked with our system admins on this.Our system admins are NOT forcing the "Password" option ... they're OK with just using the PIN, and I had it like that, in the old 2.3.3 version !For this setup ... this will display the long PASSWORD for lock-screen, instead of just a PIN which is what I prefer to to use instead:
* Android 2.3.4
* gingerbread.xwki4 on Samsung Galaxy S2
* Exchange 2007 sp3

I have deleted the preloaded MP3 tracks from the nokia 5530 on my computer but if I go to the musicplayer and I choose artists for instance, I can still see the artists from the preloaded tracks. If I try to delete these maps, I receive an error. It's impossible to delete them. Does anyone know how I can delete them?

I have a BB data pack from Bell. The phone is a curve 8330 with OS 4.5.0.127. I checked the app properties and I don't see the net_rim_bb_lbs_ribbon module. How can I correct this problem.

I went into Settings > System > Phone, scrolled down to the bottom and changed "Choose the app you want to use to manage recorded phone calls" to "Voice Recorder" but when I am in a phone call there is no record button. T-Mobile is my provider and I do have 2 sims installed.

View 5 Replies View Relatedsuddenly my SD card decided that it was going to disappear, and even though it's there, my phone is not detecting it. I pulled the battery, removed the SD card and plugged it into my computer via adapter (not phone) and was able to access it. I put the SD card back in my phone, power up then go to Settings>SD Card & phone storage and under 'Mount SD card' it says "Insert an SD card for mounting". Okay ... so a few days later I exchanged SD cards with a "droid" friend and she was able to detect my card in her phone, but again my phone is not detecting her card. Bummer... Also, when I plug my phone into my computer via USB to Mac I am unable to establish a connection. I am using Android File Transfer. I have tried to format SD card (FAT32) with Disk Utility and still nothing... So I'm almost convinced that my phone is damaged. It was working last week.

If I select the Hotspot Browser icon and then press the Menu key, I get kicked into the main menu. Have searched far and wide for the answer to this problem, but no luck. Most posts complaining about the Hotspot Browser are about getting a connection to the Internet. I am not even that far -- the browser simply doesn't load.I have a BB email plan and wifi. The wifi works fine for email with the mobile network turned off, so I know that my Wifi settings are fine.

I can see the files I want using "My Files" on the phone, but when I use Windows Explorer (Win10) with the phone connected over USB, the folders are empty.
