View 1 Replies View RelatedI receive a text box that says something like : Touch ID requires your password when the iPhone restarts Enter your password for xxxxx.Well my iPhone 6+ did not need to restart, it restarted immediately when I used Touch ID to open the iPhone, well before I decided to enter the App Store. I checked Settings>Touch ID & Passcode and the button is green, signifying that it's active for iTunes & the App Store. Yet for some reason the process still requires a digital entry of my passcode. I thought the reason for entering passcodes is unnecessary when Touch ID is active, especially for purchasing a product from Apple on their device?

The LCD works perfectly. Images that are displayed are correct, colors are good, but the touch aspect of it does not work. Occasionally the touch would come back but 95% of the time, the screen doesn't respond to touches. The phone wasn't dropped or anything. It just decided one day to crap out on the touch. Would it be easier to just replace the digitizer and not waste money to buy the whole screen assembly? Not to mention the replacement screens on eBay are probably not as good as the original OEM screen.

my bold 9900 screen will only work when on charge.when unplugged it freezes,goes dull and wont respond.if you plug it back in it still does not work. it wont turn off.if you leave it to go flat or remove battery then plug it in it turns on again!

I have been reading some conflicting stuff online. Some people are saying that you must be touching the metal side rails of the phone for the scanner to read a fingerprint and that's why people with cases on are having trouble. Other people are saying your finger just needs to touch the little metal edge of the button on the back of the phone for it to work. I held my phone by the plastic top and bottom and my fingerprint unlocked it perfectly..I wasn't touching any of the metal side rails. My case hasn't arrived yet so I haven't tested it with a case on.

The mobile was in my jeans when i was in class. Then i pulled it out afterwards. The touch screen wasn't working. But all the other keys are working fine. I've tried hard reseting my phone, but the thing is i've put on a lock code. So whenever i turn my cell on it asks for lock code which i can't input cause of the touch screen being down. Now i really wanna get my precious data out of the mass memory. The phone memo doesn't matter since i got backup.
