When I am searching in phone for software update its showing ur phone is uptodate. But when I am connecting through PC its showing new updates are available. How can I upgrade through my phone by using wifi.
Since updating my D6503 to Lollipop 5.0.2 (Build 23.1.A.0.726) yesterday, I can't connect to my workplace's Wi-Fi anymore. I'm still able to connect to my home and public Wi-Fi networks. Â My workplace network settings:
WPA2 EnterpriseEAP method: PEAPPhase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2CA certificate: (Unspecified)DHCP server.I am able to connect to this network using my credentials on other devices - but my Xperia Z2 just refuses to establish a connection. I've tried "forgetting" the network, restarting the phone (including in safe mode). No success.
I have a problem after upgrading to Android 4 Usually im connecting to workplace wifi by using static IP address setting But now in Android 4, those manual setting have been disable I cant make any changes with the router? How can i change the IP address?
Today I uploaded the firmware through Sony PC Companion to Android Version 4.0.4 build 4.1.B.0.587. After that my wireless connectivity that was working fine, stopped working.
My Wifi is secured and before I give the password, it says the signal strength is Excellent. After that, it says Signal strength is Poor and tries to keep connecting.
After upgrading to Lollipo my Xperia Z2 is unable to sign into my corporate wifi network. It just shows as blank screen after I click on Sign into network from the notifications.
always out "no connection and pls retry" when using play store.i have repair it many time at sony pc companion.the error still same.when using browser need wait a long time too loading.
I have a question concerning e52 FW upgrade. I have updated my phone lately to 22. via wifi. Now, when I'm checking updates there's one important update (to FW 31.012), but I can't do it via phone there's only option to do it with my PC.
Here are my questions: Can I (anyhow) do it by phone(via wifi)? If I update it by PC will be my data, settings etc kept or deleted? And finally is that update worth installing?
After IOS 5.01 my Iphone 4 started to do not detect my wifi network automatically. I have to find it manually and put security code manually as well. After some time wifi network gets missing. To get it bact I have to again chose it manually and again put security code.
last night i upgrade my iphone to ios 5.1 and after that i cannot connect via wifi (neither my home nor my office). I did restore again, reset settings, hard reset...
I am new to this and not overly tech savy so pls excuse me in advance! I completed an upgrade on my Desire this morning when prompted to do so on the handset. Since then I have noticed my WIFI is not working. If I turn it on, it goes to "scanning" but has been doing this for nealry 2 hours. I have turned off and back on, also taken battery out for a few minutes and nothing.
Lost wifi connectivity on 3GS after 5.1.1 OS upgrade. Have tried every remedy, short of wiping my whole phone (have done reboot, backup and restore, reset network settings, reset all settings, etc.). Apple says my "hardware must be broken." Hard to believe, with 350,000 hits with same problem on Google search, just in these few days since upgrade was released. I do not want to wipe my phone and start over (for obvious reasons), nor do I unnecessarily want to purchase a new phone (for even more obvious reasons).

I have Xoom wifi and received the ICS upgrade yesterday. I've noticed that my wifi seems to drop out quite a bit even though it's the same setup as before the upgrade (wireless-n) in my home. No changes to the network and all other devices are working fine. Seems the Xoom keeps dropping the connection and re-connecting -- even when I'm online (such as with browser or email).
For the most part, I like the 950 a lot. I did a hard reset to try to get the upgrade, no update. it fixed my music library problem though. That was nice.
I activated my insider on the phone. It showed the update. So I updated the phone. NICE!!!!!! I thought. My laptop, on wifi is about 30gb/sec download. My phone? about 500kbps/sec down.
Ok so after having to replace the earpiece under warranty I thought would risk another outage to my Defy. It was bought sim-free and I use my work SIM in it from Vodafone. So ran through the upgrade, and it worked first time ... until wifi. Wifi does not connect or rather from what I can determine I cannot actually obtain an IP address. For it to actually connect to the hub I have to force the settings to toggle the "Enable Auto IP" setting and manually set the channel to the same as my hub. (not had to do that with any other phone ... ) by the way, this still does not give me a data connectionAlso tried setting a static IP address and related settings and that does not work either Did a factory reset as recommended on the other pages - no avail. My hub runs WPA/WPA2 and I have a variety of devices connecting to it, trouble free, including 2 other Android 2.2 phones (HTC Desire Z and LG Optimus One), Windows XP, Windows 7, PS3 etc etc ... oh and once I had a Defy running 2.1 Eclair connecting trouble free?
I decided to upgrade my Xperia Pro (SI 1252-5232, it´s in the list) to ICS. the Sony PC Companion sees the phone and writes an update to version 4.1.B.0.587 is possible, so i click on agree, it downloads the SW to the PC, and than it TURNS OFF THE PHONE and shows a step-by-step guide how to update (1. disconnect USB cable from phone and PC, 2. battery must be +50%, 3. turn off phone and wait 5 sec.->>???WTF? how can i turn it off when "it" turned it off itself? 4. connect USB cable to PC, 5. hold "back" key and connect phone to USB). I tried it several times, with MTP and MSC mode, disconnected it, turned off, waited 5 secs, pressed "back" and connected" maybe 5 times all the possible ways, but it simply does nothing when I press the back button and connect it, only the LED is green.
I´am doing wrong? How long should I press the back button, which phone-settings are required, where could be the error?
i got the thing on my phone about a week ago that said a new software update was available. i didnt download it then. and now when i plug my phone into my computer the PC Companion says its up to date and im at 2.1.
