I have tried in vain to try and import bookmarks into the Android Stock browser. I have tried various apps such as CMarks, XMarks and others but with no luck. Yes I have Dolphon Browser and Friefox but would like to use the Android Stock broswer for bookmaks.. I have heard some somes have the impoting of boomarks disabled on the stock browser, is this true for the xperia pro?

The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

Sony Ericsson was content to put their on touch on many areas of the device, yet, they decided to NOT touch one of worst pieces of Android. Would anyone else have liked SE to tweak the camera software? I wasn't expecting Arc-status, but I also wasn't expecting such a low-quality experience on such a "high-end" device.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter having upgraded my device to Symbian Anna, it doesn't seem to be possible to start the browser in the bookmarks screen any longer (unlike the previous useful setting). I'm not interested in loading any "homepage" automatically (that simply doesn't fit my Internet access patterns - I typically access one of a few pages and it's more efficient to use bookmarks to go to the right page directly in that case). I understand that I can choose empty page - that doesn't enforce unwanted data traffic nor loading time for useless pages (as opposed to a default homepage scenario), but it still requires two more clicks to get to bookmarks.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe bookmarks with ICS appear as tiny, hard-to-read icons with tiny, hard-to-read text on my Razr Maxx. I can't find a way to change the bookmarks from icons to pure text so that they are recognizable and usable. Seems like one of many features that is much worse with ICS than it was with GB. Is there a way to have the bookmarks appear as text-only? As an aside, is it only me, or is ICS a disappointment, with little to offer that makes learning a new OS worth the aggravation?

- did a force close and also rebooted

Just updated from a nexus 5 to galaxy S6 and wondering if there's any way to get the stock android lock screen to display?I need to use a pin due to work restrictions on the phone, so can't disable the normal lock screen to use an alternative widget - I've tried a few of these but just get two lock screens. I prefer the stock lock screen as there's more spacing between the numbers (easier for fat fingers).Phone isn't rooted. Android 5.1 using nova launcher.

Now, I am trying to restore the messages. So, I go to dropbox, and export the file to the SD Card in the phone. However, no matter where on the SD card I store the file, the messages app cannot find it to restore.

I have a new BES email so I had to wipe my blackberry account. How do I transfer my browser bookmarks from my old BES email? I backed up my blackberry before wiping and I have tried to restore just the browser bookmarks using the device restore select device data and settings, but the bookmarks don't come back.

All of a sudden videos in the stock browser and the Facebook app won't play anymore. In the FB app it just gives a warning that the video could not be played.
