Is there a way to change the clock alarm weekdays setting from Monday - Friday to Sunday - Thursday ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have set the calendar so that Sunday (in UAE) is the first working day of the week. When I select weekdays for the alarm it doesn't recognise this and doesn't go off on a Sunday. It still goes off on a Friday which is the weekend. So I have to remember to keep switching it on or off How can I change this setting?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had this happen a few times. I have a custom ringtone for my Alarm Clock. I put it in a folder on the SD Card: media/alarms. When I hook up the phone through USB to organize or add/delete files using a computer, the next morning my alarm clock has defaulted to an on-phone ringtone. I was used to my sounds being different while I have the SD card actively unmounted, but the settings were always maintained when I returned.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThere must be some bug with the low battery alarm on Nokia 700. When the phone is on a long call, it just shuts down without any alarm at all. I had this issue several times. My battery shows that it's full for about 30% or something. Then I call and have a long conversation. And the phone just dies without any alarm at all. When I try to start it again it seems that battery is drained and I have to charge it to turn it on again. When the phone is in standby and battery is starting to running low, it beeps and shows a message. However, when I am on the call, nothings is happening, it doesn't give me a message that battery is low and that it's time to connect to the charger. [code]

View 2 Replies View RelatedAny ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why. This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt seems on Nokia E71, the alarm settings are lost when an alarm is activated while the mobile is turned off.The sequence which i followed was.# set an alarm with time = current time + 5 mins# switched off the mobile# When the alarm time reaches the alarm goes on and asks "if we want to turn on the phone"; select 'no'.[My opinion is that at this stage it should just inform the user that the phone is switched off, rather than giving an option to turn on the phone.]# turn on the phone and go to Menu_office_clock and check the previous alarm settings. All of them would be deleted. I saw the same error in E72 and E63.
View 5 Replies View RelatedLumia 900 failed to wake me up this morning. The alarm just did not sound at all.
- Alarm was set and was shown to be in use. Even the Icon in the start screen was shown
- Tried multiple times afterwards setting the existing alarm a few minutes forward. None of the attempts alarmed.
How I set the alarm is that I always edit the existing alarm, edit the time and push the alarm on.When I tried creating a new alarm (a few minutes forward), that ringed ok. But the existing alarm failed to ring
I have Neo V for almost half a year and I haven't had any problems with alarm before. Recently I upgraded to ICS, but I haven't experienced any problems with alarm till today.
I am using the stock alarm. I do not have any task killers or any special apps, just some usual games or simple apps, nothing fancy or something that could affect the entire Android OS.
Yesterday evening I set alarm to 9:00, I checked the signal, everything seemed to be as usual. In the morning I woke up and looked at a clock near my bed - oh, it's 9:05. Hmm, but why my phone did not make any noise? Ok, let's wait a bit, maybe I did not hear... 9:15. Nothing. 9:20. Still nothing. Then I took my phone and pressed the unlock button. And exactly when I did that, suddenly the alarm window popped up and phone rang. It was 9:20. To test if the alarm still works, I set up a new signal at 9:40 and put the phone aside, so it can lock. This time everything went smooth, alarm went off exactly at 9:40.
I have set a few alarms, and sometimes they don't go off, and it is really annoying since I need my alarm to get up for stuff like lectures etc! I set it yesterday to go off today at 12, but it didnt go off! and I ended up getting up at fricking 2pm!! I try to replicate the problem by like setting the alarm in 1 minute, but it will go off.

I have a Z5 and for some reason my alarm does not make a sound? On several occasions this has caused me to get late for work! Initially I just thought I was sleeping through but have tested it and for some reason it continues to be silent?!
I have checked the settings and put the alarm volume on loud and set the time according to the step by step and still no luck...
Updated Z3+ to Marshmallow 5.0.2 and subsequently discovered (on the first day back to work) that alarms (native clock) no longer work after the phone is left overnight.
Have checked notifications, priority status, display settings etc. Have force closed, cleared cache and re-started. No success.
If I test the alarm during the daytime (with normal phone usage) it works fine, the problem only occurs when the phone is left idle for extended periods.
Have spent hours on forums looking for solutions, with some references to Doze causing issues, although seemingly not with native clocks and as far as I can tell, not with Xperia devices.
I tried keeping an alarm with the phone switched off.But it dosent ring.is there any setting to change thisl
View 8 Replies View RelatedDaylight savings time stared today and the alarm on my Z3v was correctly set to 0730. The alarm didn't go off though until 0830. I did set the alarm with google now, but around 8 o'clock i also checked the Alarm and Clock app and verified the correct alarm time was set and turned on. Then the alarm went off at 0830. It was a one time alarm and no other alarms were set.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm writing about my X8 that I've upgraded from Android 1.6 (Donut) to Android 2.1 (Eclair) between yesterday and today. I regret that with the upgrade a lot of "alarm tones" are gone, including one in particular which is so cool, I can't remember the name but that begins with "multi" - it's a combination of more tones (drin, chicken, bell, etc.).
I did a regular backup rand restore but I don't think those wake-up tones are normally backed up or considered in the backup process. I'm asking you what I can do to have back what I had but seems to have been lost with the upgrade. Now the mobile phone's alarm ringtones available are very few and I think a upgrades should add, not remove.
When I set my alarm in the evening and turn off my phone, the phone is not able to ring the alarm in the morning. This is a problem as I use my xperia x8 as my alarm clock which in turn means that I can never turn my phone off and that I have to trust that the phone does not turn off by itself in the night (which it sometimes does) to be sure to get up in the morning if I have important meetings etc. This seems R&D wise a step back as my old sony ericsson w880i could do exactly this
