Sony Ericsson :: SE T715 Inactive USIM On 3 Network

i live in aus and i have SE T715. im with 3. on prepaid. when i woke up today it said where the "3" symbol is meant to be "Inactive SIM". called 3 and they said your account isnt barred or anything and everything seems fine on our end. so i turned the phone off and turned it back on and wala it was back to normal again! the sim is only 1 month old! it hasnt said "inactive sim" since! weird.another thing is i couldnt make phone calls a couple of hours afterwards. the signal bar was on full but the "G" symbol in the top left hand corner disappeared and wasnt replaced with anything. so i turned my phone off and turned it back on and guess what? back to normal. it only did it that one time and same with the usim message only once. hasnt played up since! it just seems turning the phone off and turning it back on fixes it.there are three things that can be causing this 1:the sim card 2:the phone or 3: the network. what do you guys think.

Last night my phone started acting weird and asking if I wanted to copy contacts from the USIM any time I tried to look at my contacts. I ignored it most of the time, but earlier today I tried turning it off and on again to see if that would sort it. Now it literally won't do anything, apart from display a message saying "Insert correct USIM". I haven't done anything different with it that I can think of that would have caused this. I've already tried removing the battery, sim card and memory card but nothing seems to work. Any ideas whether it can be fixed, or what could have happened in the first place?

I have a sony ericsson t715. anyway whenever i charge it it will get to 100% then if you leave the charger plugged in it will drop to 99% or 98% and just stay there no matter how long you leave it charged in! for example my battery got low last night so i charged it overnight and when i woke up this morning it was stuck on 98% with the charger still plugged in!

I have a SE T715, but I do not have an data plan. I am looking to find a way to store maps on my phone (i.e. map of Vancouver). I originally was thinking of using Google Map, but that requires a data plan which I do not have. I am wondering if it is possible to transfer the maps from Google Map straight to my phone via USB? If not, are there any apps or any way for me to get a copy of a map onto my phone?

I just purchased a brand new sony ericsson t715 3 days ago. before i went to bed i charged it when i woke up the next day 10 hours later i checked my phone and the battery icon in the top right hand corner showed it was still charging and it had the lighting bolt symbol. i checked the battery status and it said it was 99% charged. the weird thing is when i unplugged the charger from the phone the battery symbol in the top right hand corner was full? so to test it again i ran the battery down to 60% by talking and using the camera. so i charged it again. it got to 100% then I left the charger plugged in 20 minutes later the battery status went back to 99% and the battery icon indicated it was charging by the green bar moving. so i thought the phone was faulty so i took it back to the store and complained to the technician and the manager and they said that this was normal. they refused to replace it and said there is nothing wrong with it!! are they lying? what do you guys think? just it seems to me once you charge the battery and it reaches 100% and you leave the charger plugged in after 10-15 minutes the battery status drops to 99% and is stuck there no matter how long you charge it. the battery indicator would show that its charging. weird huh? im used to nokia phones and no nothing about sony ericssons. is this normal? if not how do i fix this?

I've bought a SE c510 recently. Maybe a month ago. All was working fine until a couple of days ago, it started giving me error message. First, it will say Inactive Sim. Then, it will turn itself on, and give me this error message: "Insert Sim or View Demo Video first" It takes more than a couple of on/off remove battery cycles before it functions again. My Sim is definitely not inactive. Cause At times that I don't get this error, it works. I have also updated to the latest firmware as of 06/27/10. I still get the errors. Is there s aolution to this? I have been using SE Phones for a long time now and I don't usually have issues like this.

I have a Sony Ericsson K800i and until two days ago it was working just fine. But then it displayed the "No access to network." message and I couldn't make or receive any calls. I tried to restart the phone, to take off the battery, to reset the settings, to set a network manually etc etc but still nothing.
And while it is searching for a network, it is draining the battery too. It was fully charged this morning, and now it's only 25%. Normally, it should take 3-4 days to reach that power level. I should mention now that I'm in roaming in Munich, Germany since three weeks, and my phone bills are payed on time, so it shouldn't be an mobile operator problem.

My phone (K800i) has displayed no network coverage for almost a month now, I have tried network search auto and manual, and I have tried my SIM in other phones and it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions because I am fed up of this phone I am having to use while I try and fix my own.

I will try explain my problem and what i`ve done as clear as possible.I bought w995 on orange from ebay and i thought that unlockingdebranding will be a piece of cake.I was wrong, So, after frrustrating news that A2 phones can be unlocked only by a paid service i ordered one myself. Finally i got it unlocked, but still on Orange firmware. Shoved my o2 sim in it and everything was working fine. Next step that i took - debranding. Got A2uploader,FS+main+custom pack from c905 and started to flash it. After flash was successful I turned it on and was kinda amazed - "no network coverage" was written on my screen. Tried different SIMs- same problem.So, now i`m stucked with this pointless brick aka phone.
Some info about recent solutions given:
-It`s not in flight mode.
-Master reset didn`t help.
-Tried various FS+main+custom packs
-Tried D-ultimate unlocker (Direct Unlock(+Sec. zone rebuild))

I bought the K800i a few months ago. I bought it from eBay, Hong Kong. Now it's been having SOOO MANY PROBLEMS, network, smsing etc.I am using XS++ 3.1,This is what it's telling me:

i am now living in singapore and i need to tell you that i cannot connect to the wifi network although my uncle's nokia n96 can or even my psp. i am using my home wireless network. and sometimes when the wifi is connected the Internet page does not open. but my internet page opens.

I have a Sony Ericsson Satio, and yesterday I changed my wallpaper to a picture of a good friend, however, the Network providers name is right in the center of their face and is ruining the wallpaper for me. Is there any way to remove the text 'T-Mobile' from the home screen? I remember it was possible in Samsung or Nokia, not sure which one.Any help greatly appreciated.

hoping someone can help me out here. I have a Sony Ericsson W595 This afternoon I went to make a call and found I couldn't get into my contacts list - I'd press select and nothing would happen. The phone would not be frozen, however. Then, on my "recent calls" list all my contacts' names had been replaced with an "e" with an acute accent. Later, I lost signal so took the battery out and replaced it, which didn't help. My message counter and phone theme were reset but the time and date were not. I removed and replaced the SIM card, which also had no effect. I then put my SIM card in a Motorola Pebl and got full signal and could receive texts again, so I assume it is a phone fault, not a SIM problem.

I am getting extremely frustrated with my video call on my Satio. My husband has the same phone and we both are having trouble. The demo for this phone on the support page indicates I can manually choose which network I am using, however, my actual phone does not have that menu item. The problem I have is when the phone locks me into GPRS, it becomes a virtual paper weight. It works great if I can get it to lock onto Edge by walking around enough. I want to be able to manually choose Edge. Why can't I do this?
