Apr 12, 2010I got a 4GB memory stick for my phone. I installed it and formatted it but not i can not see anything on it from my computer. It just locks up.

Apr 18, 2010I just got the Samsung Rogue and after using it till the battery drained. I turned off the phone and started charging it. After about 2 hours when I went to check the phone it had on the display the charging display but it was locked and would not disappear at all. I had to take out the battery for a minute and put it back in. Then when you place it back on charge it continues where it left off at. Is this a problem with this phone? Is there something that can be done.

Jan 31, 2010My mother’s Sony Ericsson K800i died (white screen). She's got some photos on her memory stick (Memory Stick Micro) which she hadn't backed up recently. I read somewhere that someone with a white screen problem was unable to access their memory card using their PC software. So I loaned her my memory card reader and M2 adapter as I figured there'd be no problem with getting her more recent photos off the memory card.
We've tried the memory card reader in two machines: XP and Vista but it comes up with the same message about formatting the card. No way do we want to format the card because we want the data off it. Unfortunately, we don’t know anyone else who has a K800 or any phone which takes the same memory card to borrow so we get the photos off Mum’s memory card. Does anyone know of anything else we could try?

Jul 13, 2011i have seen movies on Internet about connecting a usb stck to a samsung galaxy s 2 phone. as far as i can se you need a usb micro b male to a usb a female adaptor. however when i connect the adaptor to my phone nothing happens. whereas acc. to the Internet movie "samsung galaxy s2 usb otg demo " of nztechfreak you should see a usb host cable connected message in the host tray. however i don't get such a message. when i then connect my 40 gb lacie mini disk (which as far as i know works as a general usb stick) i won't be able to find that also. i also checked on my computer and it is formatted. i also tried with a real (8 gb ) usb stick, same problem.

When I plug the phone into my PC's USB port, the phone display says, "MTP, Connect to the PC..." Windows makes a "ding" sound, confirming the connection of a new USB device. But after that, nothing happens. No new removable drive. The phone's internal memory is not accessible. I tried using Samsung's PC Studio 3. It reports no phone connected.

May 18, 2010i have a samsung sch-r500 from telus, and last week it started coming up with a message "memory is 75% full, please erase messages." My inbox and outbox are both empty. Everytime i try to send a text message thats what i see, now its at 83%. My phone is almost 2 years old and there is no warranty on it. i called telus and they said to bring it to a telus dealer so they will send it in for repair, which will take about 2 weeks plus a fee for them to update the phone software. if anyone has any way to fix this please let me know.
