Please advise, is this a virus problem, because on Monday I tried loading music from a collegues computer and all my music and pictures and videos where wiped out, now I can't load any new music and when I take pictures it does not save any of the pictures

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have seen movies on Internet about connecting a usb stck to a samsung galaxy s 2 phone. as far as i can se you need a usb micro b male to a usb a female adaptor. however when i connect the adaptor to my phone nothing happens. whereas acc. to the Internet movie "samsung galaxy s2 usb otg demo " of nztechfreak you should see a usb host cable connected message in the host tray. however i don't get such a message. when i then connect my 40 gb lacie mini disk (which as far as i know works as a general usb stick) i won't be able to find that also. i also checked on my computer and it is formatted. i also tried with a real (8 gb ) usb stick, same problem.

But I can't access my gallery as it just closes and says Media running.. Any one else have this problem? And any idea how to sort it
View 5 Replies View Relatedi loaded an app called "CLEAN SWEEP, and " Whats APP".. does any one of these apps change some properties that are hard to find that now makes any of my pictures i download from my messaging app, or camera go straight to "MY FILES" instead of showing in MY GALLERY like they used to do. I have deleted the old download folder to see if it wold start a new one , and it did, but still is not showing up in my gallery, just my files. the only pics showing up in my gallery are the ones on my sd card.

Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.

View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday I came across a strange problem with my SGSII. I realized that I cant access my gallery if wifi is switched on.If I turn off wifi, it works again. Any idea why this is happening? Restarting the phone didnt change anything.At first I thought it might be from some app, so I uninstalled the last 5 apps I downloaded, but nothing changed I'm positive that it was working fine before. It just happened all of a sudden.I have attached screen-shots of my phone info along with what my gallery looks like when it's not working.

Closing it and reopening it several times sometimes does the trick, but sometimes it has to be left for a while. I find this very annoying for such a lightening fast and smooth operating phone. My SGS 1 didnt have this problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy mother’s Sony Ericsson K800i died (white screen). She's got some photos on her memory stick (Memory Stick Micro) which she hadn't backed up recently. I read somewhere that someone with a white screen problem was unable to access their memory card using their PC software. So I loaned her my memory card reader and M2 adapter as I figured there'd be no problem with getting her more recent photos off the memory card.
We've tried the memory card reader in two machines: XP and Vista but it comes up with the same message about formatting the card. No way do we want to format the card because we want the data off it. Unfortunately, we don’t know anyone else who has a K800 or any phone which takes the same memory card to borrow so we get the photos off Mum’s memory card. Does anyone know of anything else we could try?
I backed up all photos from my old phone Samsung s4 (which is now completely dead) and transferred them to the new one Samsung s6. Apparently they can be only seen on a APP called photos but not on my gallery. How can I move them.

I have around 250 photos and 15 videos in my gallery. Whenever I try to open my gallery its very slow, it takes almost 20 seconds to open up.
I have 2.3.6 Android version, and I have installed MX Video Player to view the video files.

The problem is, some of these don't "stick" and what I mean by that is, even though on the contact info it says that personalized ringtone or text sound is set, when I get a call, the default ringtone or message sound plays. And it's not consistent. Some personalized ones work, others don't. They all worked on my S4.
