Samsung :: Impact (SGH-T746) WinXP Driver Help
Jan 29, 2010I recently got the Samsung Impact from Bell Canada and I've been trying to use Samsung New PC Studio to back it up. The problem is Windows XP won't find the proper drivers for it. The Samsung website says to point the Hardware Wizard to folder '1' in the PC Studio folder for the USB driver for SAMSUNG CDMA Technologies but it's not finding the proper drivers.Has anyone had any luck doing a back up for this phone? I can't find anything online at all.

Dec 7, 2010I have a samsung lock from bell yesterday i played with my phone went into the *#7986421*# and clicked on debug in the admin config and it gave me a blue screen about updater something and stayed like this then i removed the battery and the phone won't turn on now
all i see the t746 samsung logo but at 3/4 when the line gets filled up the phones turns off and will do the same cycle again and again if i plug the phone on...
Samsung :: Lost 4-digit Security Lock Code For Samsung Restore SPH-M570 / SPH-M575?
Jul 19, 2011I've lost the 4 digit user selected security lock code which is required to reset the phone.Virgin says Samsung should help recover the code and Samsung says Virgin should help recover the code.A while back, I found a code on the web that allowed me to go into a service menu which listed among other things the lock code. I can't find any information on how to get back into that menu.
By the way, yes, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number, 0000, 9999, 1234.If anyone knows how to get into the service menu on this phone
The only codes I've found so far are:##786# which gets into an info menu but doesn't have the lock code.##33284# which requires a 6-digit security code which I don't know.

I hate having little flowers and what not when I lock my phone. Samsung :: IMPACT Games Apps Using Data Cable
Jun 22, 2010i (987456321) have been unable to put games on my Samsung impact T746 (also called a Samsung highlight T749) since i have got it. i have looked around and tried all the methods and they did not work (for me anyway) so after mixing in things i heard around the interwebs i found out how to make it work for me. i put together a little tutorial on what i did and how i made it work. this is probably a total repeat of what someone else has said, but it might save someone some time and effort (and a trip to the store because they did something wrong, like me)
1. get the .jar for your game
2. use jadgen to make a .jad to go with that .jar file
3. plug your Samsung Impact into your computer
4. run samsung pc studio
5. open task manager and under process's delete ************ (i can not remember the name of the file, i will update when i can) this will make pc studio able to find the phone
6. now go back to pc studio and try to find phone, when you find your phone close pc studio
7. open tkfileexplorer (v2.2 works for me)
8. click settings>com>default, a COM* should appear in the Port spot
9. click ok, now connect to phone
10. on the bottom half to go exe>Java>Games
11. make a new folder (should be your games name) and put the jad and jar in there
12. repeat 11 for as many games/apps you have.
13. disconnect and unplug your phone.
14. go onto your Impact and touch "phone"
15. dial "*#6984125*#" you should be taken to a menu
16. click internals and type in *#9072641*# and hit ok
17. If clicking ok does not work (seems unresponsive to your clicks) turn your phone in the horizontal texting position and then try clicking ok
18. click storage settings, then update java DB
19. wait for it to finish then exit and go to your game folder, have fun

The PC studio can find and pair up my phone no worried but it will not authenticate, even though I select 'yes' when my phones asks me if I want to share with my laptop (running windows 7 home premium 64bit).

When i try to set my e mails up it asks me for the enterprise activation password. I have tried countless times with vodafone to rectify this. They sent me a link to activate my e mail accounts, but they are still associated with my old blackberry pin number. Vodafone have now told me to contact the manufacturers to change the security access to my new pin number, as my details have not updated like they should have done.I can not find any numbers to contact these though. I am getting increasingly frustrated with this as i am paying for a service i can not use, and they cant rectify.
