I have just bought a new Nokia Asha 200.I need to put a phone security password, but the user guide only instructs how to change the password, but I can not find anything about enabling it.I also tried to find all the options in the security settings but could not find the answer.

View 3 Replies View Relatedmy nokia 6303c has been a bit of an annoyance, it crashed 2wice so I had to repair it and the last time it requested password for my micro SD card which I forgot, or it just wont accept it. Because I'm pretty sure I've entered every possible combination. I read that you could use fexplorer if you have a sybian nokia but I don't. Can I format my card through PC suite? It's be good if there's a way I could save all the files on my SD card but if formatting is the only way then how do I do it? I tried chucking my SD card into adapter and into built in card reader on my PC but my PC doesn't read it, I think its cause it's faulty (the card reader) I got vista also. Which sucks. It doesn't read mmc full size too so its not the micro SD adapters fault.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased a genuine Nokia 5610 XpressMusic slide phone quite a few months ago during a trip to China. The phone worked (and is still working) perfectly well. However, several weeks back I took out the phone battery and when I replaced it all of my contacts (JUST contacts) saved in the PHONE MEMORY were missing/deleted. I was only left with what remained on my SIM card. I went to Menu>settings >security >security level >memory to try fix it, then discovered that the PHONE MEMORY was now locked and its contents protected by a security code. I certainly did NOT set any security code on my phone (I only use a PIN code to access my phone - it works fine) and now, although my phone is fully functional, I can no longer save any more contacts to my phone (because the SIM card is full and the phone memory is blocked).I've used security code generators and also the typical 1234, 12345, 0000, 4444, etc - but NONE of them work.

My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.
