i have a galaxy sii, model: SCH-R760, Android Version 2.3.6, Gingerbread.FB14.I would like to see my handset on my desktop screen, i tried to make it work with Android SDK tool in my dekstop, but for some reason it does not work. I connect my handset to my desktop via a USB cable, i do not have hdmi.
View 1 RepliesA new problem has developed with my phone. It's hard to describe but it looks as if there is fluid under the screen (I don't have a screen protector btw). You can push the bubble of fluid (if that's what it is) around with your finger and see it move under the screen. Most unsettling. I'm at a complete loss to know what to do. MY PHONE AT NO TIME HAS GOT WET OR EVEN SPLASHED - I'VE KEPT IT COMPLETELY DRY. I HAVEN'T EVEN HANDLED IT WITH WET HANDS.
The problem is only visible on the home screen and it's not affecting the functionality of the phone in any way. However, it's a bad problem because now I've lost all security on my phone - it doesn't ask for a fingerprint swipe any more so anyone can immediately gain access to my phone merely by touching the bubble.
Interestingly, the problem disappears completely if I run the Samsung Galaxy S6 4G in Safe Mode.
I have lost my home screen Time display ?? It was in my pocket and noe the time has dissapeared
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung Galaxy S6 display keeps turning on and off. And I mean it lights up, then goes black....lights up...then goes black....all day, all night. My battery is draining at least 4-5 times a day. I've tried rebooting. I've tried starting in Safe Mode. Nothing works. And this problem started out of the blue. While the phone is being used....making a phone call, texting or using an app the screen doesn't do this. But if its just sitting there its turning on and off and draining my battery.
Its running Android 5.0.2
maybe its just me that cant seem to get this, I got my galaxy S II on saturday added my songs from my other phone on it and every thing was fine but about two days ago I noticed for all my songs without the actual album image on it, shows just one picture on all its display.Like have got a song titled Surrender by Barlow girls but the picture on it when I try playing the song is Britt Nicole's lost & found album, and its like that for hundreds of my songs and I just find it extremely annoying.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi am happy to join this forum with all of you,, i just got SGS II from 2 days i noticed that in the 1st day the battery was going well but after i installed some programs and games the battery drain become X2 than 1st day ( 1st day i was testing it and opening options and trying app. and it stay for 1 day and 5 hours approximately. but after installing the games and apps it still for 1 days and 6 hours but without using it as much as 1st day i tried to check the battery usage and i found that every thing is low and good but the display usage became over 76% no widget just 6 and the other pages have been removed all applications in background closed, brightness set on 30% approximately finally android v is 2.3.3.
i fully charged the battery since 2 hours ago and the battery now goes to 93% please i need help about that and i downloaded juice defender today to test it
I am using a Galaxy SII since two weeks. It is an amazing cell phone. I had absolutely no issues with the phone until yesterday. But yesterday night i turned the phone off and then when I turned it back on, I am facing a problem that is really annoying me. I am using widget locker for locking and unlocking purpose of the phone. When I lock my phone, after about 5-6 mins, I see the display of the phone automatically waking up although I did not touch any of the keys. For about 1 min, the display will remain awake and then fall asleep automatically. This cycle starts at around 3AM and stops after 2-3 hours.

The problem starts when the display names are different.ow the phone has its own mind which contact name to display. I tried un-joining them and leave the name i want to be displayed "in this case PHONE and join them back again.his resolves the problem momentarily, but whenever I come back , its the same.his issue is also with Whatsapp connections, the contact name within whatsapp is apearing as per phone contact, but in joined view it displays from other accounts of the same person. This is very irritating.

I know the proximity sensor is responsible for this, but it seems to work properly, as i tested it in LCD test mode (dialing *#0*#). View 1 Replies View RelatedLately I've been noticing that the displayed time on my home screen widget is inaccurate. A simple tap on the widget seems to rectify things but it's weird. I'm using Transparent Weather Clock but I also noticed the same thing using the 3D Flip Clock widget.
Interestingly, my wife is using the Note 2 and she's having the same problem.
As this is happening with multiple widgets on multiple phones I feel safe in assuming that it's not related to the devices themselves or the widgets per se.

Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. I have a lot of memories on the phone that i would like back.I have connected the phone to samsung keis, however, since the screen locked, the dam thing won't let me in to my own data. Understandably this is to ensure absolutle security to your sh** but I can't help wondering why samsung didn't install an option that allows you to unlock the phone from your computer. really need some help figuring out how I can get my sh** back. If anyone knows how to bypass the screen lock or just refresh it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. I'm not in a great rush since my mum refuses to pay for the fix. and it'll take me a few weeks to save up.i can't unlock the phone because i can't see the screen and i think the touch pad is bust as well.

I don't know if i just noticed now or what, but whenever i get a text message or facebook message, basically any notification, my screen wont turn on and display it. Just led blink + sound+ viberate. I went into my settings and tried basically everything possible. I have show notifications on lock screen and inside messages app its toggled to show on lock screen also.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen it is sat in standby and i recieve a text, the screen lights up as usual for a few seconds then dims to turn off again but doesnt turn off, causing my screen to stay on and the phone to run flat in under 4 hours. If I try to use the lock button when this is happening the phone will freeze.
I have also updated to the latest version to try and stop this but it didnt help.
This just recently started happening. On and off over and over. I turn it off, it turns back on.

I have searched and there seems to be some general touch issues but I can't tell if this is something that can be fixed by software or not? For example, running MultiTouch Tester, I can touch the screen really fast 10 different places (this is important I think), and the phone will only detect 7/10 presses on avg. I don't recall having so many touch problems before ICS?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new Galaxy S2 that I am totally delighted with (apart from the rather poor wifi signal reception, but that's not really a problem for me).I've noticed a strange thing though (and I don't know if this matters at all because everything still seems to work). When I connect my Galaxy up to my PC, it used to look something like this:(This is not my image, but it's the best I could find.) Basically, it used to say connected and show a picture of a USB connector.Now, for some strange reason, my S2 does not do that. When I connect up with USB, I still see the normal home screen and can navigate around as normal, at the same time as using Kies or accessing the S2 from my PC.Does anyone know why this is? Do other people's S2's behave like this, or do you all still see the USB image on screen?
