When I receive large emails it requests you to click on the "Load more details" button. When I do this, it simply says "Downloading" but never manages to actually download the rest of the content. I can work around by increasing the default download limit up to 100K but that's not the point. Why isn't it working as it should?i'm using Ice Cream Sandwhich.
View 9 RepliesNew S6 ... email app keeps hanging and won't load up new messages unless I (i) go to smart manager and "clean all" ... that works most times; or (ii) use the "close all apps" feature ... that always works ... when I do one of those two things and reopen the email app, the new messages are visible and can be opened.
Other hang ups include inability to open email messages in the inbox ... and sometimes the entire inbox screen just goes blank.
interestingly, I still always get notifications when new messages come in ... so does not appear to be a sync issue.
i bought my new SGSII 1 month back, now i am facing a lot of hanging and freezing problems, earlier they used to happen some times but now it hangs or restarts it self very often?

In other words, I see the web address at the top, but I get a blank white page and the phone doesn't even try to load it. If I hit the back page to go to the original site and click the hyperlink a second time, then the page loads up.

To be more specific, when I search images on google i only get black results, with the image dimensions loading in. I can see whether an image is square, a rectangle or whatever but the image is always completely white or black. This also goes for capcha's used on websites and other images that load in for example pop ups.
I have 5mbs Internet one of the fastest abonnoments I can get. What is up with my phone? how do i get images to load again?
I tried to upgrade to Android 2.1 and now my phone loads until the Samsung logo is up and the bar goes all the way but then it gets stuck.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi've been noticing that while I'm on apps such as Facebook or Instagram that my phone will start clicking on people's profiles, liking posts, or clicking links unprovoked. I thought maybe it was a problem with the apps, but I started noticing it happening whike sending a text the phone will click on suggested words by itself, and even if I'm just on the home screen apps will open on their own.

Since purchasing my galaxy s6, the device has been hanging up the call about three seconds after dialing - just saying "call ended".
After dialing a few times the call goes through.
The problem persists with different service providers.
It seems to be a software issue as it resolved one day suddenly after returning from a trip abroad with the device, but has now returned after upgrading to android 5.1...
The "no network" thing has been going on for a couple of months. I go out somewhere and go to make a call and it says no network is available. I see no bars, but am in a place that always has bars. So I have to turn the phone off and restart it, then I have bars. The phone IS set up to use my wifi at home, when available, but always switched seamlessly, and I never had any problems receiving calls when I go out, or this "no network available" thing.
Then recently, it's started hanging up all the time. I tap something and have to wait several seconds for a response, Very annoying. I updated the system several days ago, and it said there was an update available today, so I updated today, but still a problem.

You can click and open existing emails, but new emails are not listed and you cannot select which email box to view. Killing widget service or email won't help. You have to add the widget again or reboot the phone.

I'm from British Columbia Canada and am with Telus, I run Outlook 2007. I keep getting "setup could not finish" with both the automatic and manual setup using IMAP, POP and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync when setting up through the email icon on the S2. View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich on my Galaxy S2 yesterday and now I've lost visibility of my Exchange sub-folders within the default Email app. If I open up Email it defaults to my Inbox, but when I hit the menu key and select folders the only ones I can see are the main root folders, Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent, Deleted etc. I have a load of sub-folders underneath my Inbox that I need to be able to get to on my phone as I use it for work. This all worked fine on Gingerbread.I've removed my Exchange account from the phone and re-added it, but this made no difference. Interestingly on re-adding the account and going into the folders section I saw all my sub-folders and then as the initial sync was occurring they were removed one by one until it left me with the same default folders as I mentioned above.

I was only able to find one thing from an S5 question and the solution was unchecking a setting while in safe mode? How to do that on the S6 but i don't really want to have to if i can avoid it. I'm on AT&T btw and am running 5.1.1.
While on a phone call with anyone, I get a random clicking noise no matter if on speaker, bluetooth, or earpiece of phone. I have already tried pulling back, factory reset, and clearing the cache. Verizon phone on BOG5.
