Since purchasing my galaxy s6, the device has been hanging up the call about three seconds after dialing - just saying "call ended".
After dialing a few times the call goes through.
The problem persists with different service providers.
It seems to be a software issue as it resolved one day suddenly after returning from a trip abroad with the device, but has now returned after upgrading to android 5.1...
I am trying to make a few phone calls today, and im typing the number in correctly and press the call button, at the top it says dialing, but it is quiet, no noise when you try to call someone, then it just says call ended....

While using earphones (both 3rd party and supplied 'phones) and making/receiving calls, a loud pop is made on hanging up. I can't see in trends in it really... Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Also when I am having those issues the phone will not dial anybody just stays on dialing screen and does not call. Also texts do not come through during that time.If I reboot then I can dial and receive calls for a half day or sometimes a whole day.My phone does get the random reboots started on day one and usually once or twice a day but NEVER has happened while I was actively using it.I have done factory reset. Pulled battery and replaced.
My phone was updated with the latest firware on the day I got it and I check for updates regularlyI do have an SD card in it that was new never in another phone that was formatted by this phone. I have tried using it without card and with card makes no difference.I have started rebooting every morning but I still miss calls.At first I had Google Voice on it, I thought that might be the problem I unloaded it unlinked my google voice account and then did factory reset but that has not helped.I do not tether or use the hotspot feature. View 5 Replies View RelatedWhilst on a call this morning my phone randomly called Orange answer phone and put my original call on hold, I cancelled the answer phone call and went back to original then within the next minute the original call went quiet and I heard the ringing tone and discovered it was randomly calling a number (it was not a saved contact and I had to go through history later to see where it had come from and found it was a call I had received last Saturday - so not even a call in recent history) I have no speed dials set up - I did double check this! When prompted I did the latest upgrade last week to v7.1 bundle 1149(v7.1.0.342 - platform 5.1.0.276) and was pleased was prompted to do this as it included the update to wifi calling which I need in certain areas though I didn't have it enabled today.

New S6 ... email app keeps hanging and won't load up new messages unless I (i) go to smart manager and "clean all" ... that works most times; or (ii) use the "close all apps" feature ... that always works ... when I do one of those two things and reopen the email app, the new messages are visible and can be opened.
Other hang ups include inability to open email messages in the inbox ... and sometimes the entire inbox screen just goes blank.
interestingly, I still always get notifications when new messages come in ... so does not appear to be a sync issue.
The "no network" thing has been going on for a couple of months. I go out somewhere and go to make a call and it says no network is available. I see no bars, but am in a place that always has bars. So I have to turn the phone off and restart it, then I have bars. The phone IS set up to use my wifi at home, when available, but always switched seamlessly, and I never had any problems receiving calls when I go out, or this "no network available" thing.
Then recently, it's started hanging up all the time. I tap something and have to wait several seconds for a response, Very annoying. I updated the system several days ago, and it said there was an update available today, so I updated today, but still a problem.
I brought C7 3weeks back. after only 1 week of using it I realised that when I rcvd a call it got disconnected within few secs. Sometimes the call would last for long too, but frequency of disconnection was more. I gave it to nokia care. They returned it saying that they did some tuning and calibrated it. now after using it for 2 days again i m having the same issues.

While messaging my friend on the Android system messager, I was talking to another friend on Viber. So, since I don't have a bluetooth or headset, I would periodically bring the phone down from my ear and respond to the message. The problem is, if I was still on the message screen and brought the phone back up to my ear to continue talking on Viber, the phone auto dials my friend on the messaging screen. So I accidentally dialed the friend I was messaging several times before I realized what was going on.

Brand new here. I recently just went from iPhone to a galaxy s5. I'm with Verizon. For some reason when I try to make a phone call it's says Dialing then it ends the call before it starts to ring. I can get incoming calls fine. As you see in the picture it keeps saying cancelled. It doesn't matter who I try to call, it says cancelled. I've already done a factory reset and I've taken my sim card out n put it back in.

It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.

I even activated it and deactivated it but no change. Cleared the messaging cache, cleared the browser cache, deleted almost all the texts, the little circle just spins 30 times before it finally sends it. What else could I try?

It didn't do this until I called AT&T last week and did some things that were suggested to me to save data. I didn't do anything with the display settings--in fact, I've gone back in to be sure the sleep setting is 10 minutes (unless I otherwise lock it myself).

The display dims after 12 seconds and shuts off 3 seconds later.
I've turned off power saving features and even changed the time out to 10 minutes and no luck.
I tried turning on smart stay, but that got me to about 30 seconds and no farther.
When I receive large emails it requests you to click on the "Load more details" button. When I do this, it simply says "Downloading" but never manages to actually download the rest of the content. I can work around by increasing the default download limit up to 100K but that's not the point. Why isn't it working as it should?i'm using Ice Cream Sandwhich.

I have cleared the cache partition and restarted the phone. I have also cleared data/cache on all three 'Phone' apps. Not sure why there are three.
