I am trying to make a few phone calls today, and im typing the number in correctly and press the call button, at the top it says dialing, but it is quiet, no noise when you try to call someone, then it just says call ended....

Since purchasing my galaxy s6, the device has been hanging up the call about three seconds after dialing - just saying "call ended".
After dialing a few times the call goes through.
The problem persists with different service providers.
It seems to be a software issue as it resolved one day suddenly after returning from a trip abroad with the device, but has now returned after upgrading to android 5.1...
When I make outgoing calls just keeps dialing and when someone calls me it goes right to voicemail on my Samsung s5...

I bought an iPhone 4S new in box (still shrink wrapped) just this passed month from a friend. They bought it originally in October, but for some reason, never got it from AT&T until December. Sometimes after I hang up a phone call that I was on using speakerphone, the microphone is still engaged after the call has ended. The only way I can kill the microphone is to reboot the phone. There are no other apps running and no calls going on when this is happening. It is very strange. I will note that the second microphone (near ear phone jack) is also active while this is happening. I will take to Apple Store but thought I'd share to see if anyone else has seen the issue. I'm running iOS 5.1 on my AT&T iPhone 4S.

Recently I noticed this strange behaviour. It does not happen with all phone calls, but it already happened twice since yesterday, I receive a phone call and once I hang up I'm sent to the iPhone's main screen with the green warning bar informing me to click there to return to my Facetime call. If I click I'm sent to the Facetime app.
But notice that I did not make a Facetime call, I received a standard phone call.Â

Also when I am having those issues the phone will not dial anybody just stays on dialing screen and does not call. Also texts do not come through during that time.If I reboot then I can dial and receive calls for a half day or sometimes a whole day.My phone does get the random reboots started on day one and usually once or twice a day but NEVER has happened while I was actively using it.I have done factory reset. View 5 Replies View RelatedWhilst on a call this morning my phone randomly called Orange answer phone and put my original call on hold, I cancelled the answer phone call and went back to original then within the next minute the original call went quiet and I heard the ringing tone and discovered it was randomly calling a number (it was not a saved contact and I had to go through history later to see where it had come from and found it was a call I had received last Saturday - so not even a call in recent history) I have no speed dials set up - I did double check this! When prompted I did the latest upgrade last week to v7.1 bundle 1149(v7.1.0.342 - platform 5.1.0.276) and was pleased was prompted to do this as it included the update to wifi calling which I need in certain areas though I didn't have it enabled today.

While messaging my friend on the Android system messager, I was talking to another friend on Viber. So, since I don't have a bluetooth or headset, I would periodically bring the phone down from my ear and respond to the message. The problem is, if I was still on the message screen and brought the phone back up to my ear to continue talking on Viber, the phone auto dials my friend on the messaging screen. So I accidentally dialed the friend I was messaging several times before I realized what was going on.

Brand new here. I recently just went from iPhone to a galaxy s5. I'm with Verizon. For some reason when I try to make a phone call it's says Dialing then it ends the call before it starts to ring. I can get incoming calls fine. As you see in the picture it keeps saying cancelled. It doesn't matter who I try to call, it says cancelled. I've already done a factory reset and I've taken my sim card out n put it back in.

Not sure if I just inadvertently hit 'end workout', but was wondering if the device has a default to end the workout if you have it in 'pause' mode for too long. I only had it paused for maybe 60 seconds while I was waiting to cross a street, then when I hit the button to resume, it said work was already complete.
Anyone know if there is a way to change the settings so it doesn't auto end (if that's indeed what it did)?
In the midst of marathon training the last two weekends, I've gone to pause my MOTOACTV during a 12 miler and 13 miler when waiting at a stoplight, yet in both cases the MOTOACTV ended my workouts!
This is without me hitting "end workout" on the screen..
Today, in the middle of my activity, something happen and my cycling activity ended unexpectedly (maybe a bad sequence of clicks, a bug, maybe something else...). Anyway, I had to start a new activity to record the remaining of my race.
(1) Is it possible to resume an activity that ended? If not, this would be a nice feature to add :)
(2) Since I had to start a new activity, is it possible to upload a new CSV file that is a merge of these two activities files (this can easily be done; but I don't know how/where to upload it such that the Motoactv consider it a new activity of its own).
Finally, if (2) is possible, then is it possible to delete the previous two activities? (on the device, and on motoactv.com).
I have an Optus issue E71 now with a Telstra SIM and the NM stopped working when the free trial stopped. I didn't get any text to tell me how to sign up for the paid Telstra provided NM. Does anyone know what I have to do to get NM charged on my monthly Telstra bill?

Just earlier today my phone randomly rebooted (not all that uncommon unfortunately) but it ended up at a garbled screen as shown in the attached picture. A battery pull and reboot fixed the graphics glitch but I've also had one other graphics glitch when I was using my gps. The bottom 3/4 of an inch of the screen had a static image of the top portion of the screen. Other than "overlaying" that image it didn't affect the behavoir of the phone any, I could bring up the menu and select options in it but they were hidden behind the glitch. It did it again. This time it's just the bottom half of the screen and the phone "works" but is extremely laggy.

And I could only register enterprise email. For some reason I then wiped completely my handset. But other than deleting everything it didnt help solve my email and app problem which were no longer in my phone.Question is, does blackberry disable to use your apps and email once youre out of credit & booster is ended? Even though I'm connected to wifi at home.Also gprs is no longer GPRS in capital letters but in small letters now.

I've had my shiny Galaxy S6 for nearly three weeks now. I bought it SIM free. Really loving the phone, but I've noticed that when I try to answer a call, the phone hangs-up instead. I have good signal and I can ring the person back immediately. At first I thought I was hanging up with my cheek, but it happened when I was in slow traffic in my car yesterday. The phone was sat in a mount, connected to Bluetooth. I used the car's controls to answer and had the same issue.
I've spoken to people who call me, and they say the call just ends with a beep, it doesn't go to voice mail. I've tested calling my S6 from another mobile and a land line and the problem happens every time.
If I tap reject, the call is sent to voice mail, so I'm not pressing the wrong button.
I've tried:
-Enabling/disabling single tap mode
-Enabling home key to answer calls
-Wiping the phone's cache partition using the Android system recovery menu
-Using a Bluetooth headset to answer calls
-Uninstalling Three InTouch, my network's Wi-Fi call app (I can answer calls if they come through this app)

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile on a call, phone automatically adds same contact in as a second call - the "MERGE CALLS" box opens above keypad. At no time did I do this myself, but perhaps proximity sensor not working and something with the call on my face does it itself. Once this happens, I cannot go back to my first call. Merging calls doesn' t allow me to talk to the first call either. There is no button to UNMERGE the two calls to return to the first. My only option is to end the second call, which ends both.
