My girlfriend has a blackberry torch which is suffering from a problem in which the lock button is not as responsive. When you click it, it's not making that click sound that you get when you click the mute button that is on the opposite side at the top of the phone.

Even after taking the protective cover off, the button is next to impossible to push in. Does this need to be serviced by an apple store? I always used that button after using my phone to try to shut the screen down to save the battery. Will it use up the battery faster now that I can't push it in?

My iPhone 4's sleep/lock button is stuck in. (From wear and tear) It's out of warrantee so apple won't fix it, a genius did tell me to replace the button, so i ordered the parts from I-fixit and followed their guide. What am i missing here? is there a part that needs to be fixed other than the actual button?

I'm having an issue with the menu/BlackBerry button (whatever it's called) The button seems to be stuck. So when I push it the menu will come up but it will automatically do what is highlighted, which is often close or open the tray if on the home screen. If I lock the phone it will darken but then lighten up as if I have pressed the button, but I haven't. It will say screen locked but will continously darken and lighten back up.
I was having this issue a little while ago and even took my phone apart to clean as I thought that was the issue but it did not help. Then I needed to charge it, which I normally do by plug in, but this time I used usb to computer. There seemed to be a substantial update for my phone which once completed fixed the issue with the button. Which was a huge relief as I was thinking I would have to pay somebody to fix and I don't want to do that. It is very pricey.
Well today it started back up. I connected it to the computer but it said there were no updates and did not fix the button problem. And yes I have tried battery pull.
My Blackberry torch 9800 is stuck in a reboot loop tried all fixes nothing works, desk top manager wont fix, nor will a download of OS, sounds like a common problem

It does stay off if I insert it into a Blackberry belt holster, so as long as I leave it there, it's fine, but I want to take it out and not have the battery drain so quickly.
The only way I can ensure the screen is off when not in the holster is to power off, but I need my phone to be on 24/7 for business.

I have upgraded from a Curve to a Torch 9850. I have had the new phone for nearly 3 weeks and noticed that occasionally the back button and menu button would not work. In the beginning it was once or twice a day but this weekend it has been an all day event. The phone is fairly useless like this. It occurs with all applications as well as text and BB messenger.
