I bought my iphone 4S on March 17th, 2012. Today (April 18th) I noticed that the lock button isn't working and unfortunately I did not buy the apple care plan or any type of insurance on it. Is there anything I can do to get the issue fixed? The nearest genious bar is two hours away and I don't want to drive all the way over there just so they can tell me that they can't do anything about it.

Earlier when I locked my iPhone the button got jammed, is there a way I can get it out myself (would it be worth trying to stick a small wire or pin underneath to un jam it?) or should I wait until have time to go to an apple store and get them to repair it?

At the beginning the track ball would get stuck every once in a great while and it didn't bother me because it wouldn't be that often. Well now it gets stuck ALL the time. Now if I take it to a Verizon store will they trade it since its still under warranty? I also have insurance for it, will the insurance take it back with the logo scratched?

Periodically when i am using my iphone and i press the home button it get stuck in and is very difficult to get back out. This doesnt happen every time i use the home button but it is happening more and more frequently. It started happening about a month before the iphone warranty ran out and i didnt think much of it.
