May 22, 2010I would like to copy some files in the folder /usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.4.0/Helper. After I key in copy commend, the system asks me to key in password. What`s the default password? How could I get it? Is there any idea to get the highest authorization?

Jan 8, 2010I have seen from some other postings that there is supposed to be a root password that is common to the N900. However when I try to use it, it doesn't seem to work. I see a lot of people suggesting the use of rootsh, but surely the same functionality should be achievable by just using sudo su root? So, if there is one root password for the N900, isn't that a security hazard and consequently we should all be changing ours to something we choose?

Mar 14, 2010I tried to manage the folders and subfolders in my Nokia E72 but I was not able to move the /Connectivity Folder to the /Root Folder, same thing with the /Games Folder. In my Nokia E71 the /Connectivity Folder is in the /Root Folder, the way I like it to be.
/Connectivity and /Games Folder is supposedly in the /Root Folder or otherwise there must have an option for us to move that, but there isn't.

Apr 26, 2012i want to downgrade my phone from ICS to Gingerbird. I dont want to take my phone to service center bcos they asked to wait from few days for downgrade process.I am going to other state forsome months in mid of next week . So its not possible to wait for some days to downgrade via service centre and also i dont like this laggy ICS on my phone. I want the steps to downgrade my phone by own and also i dont want to break my warrenty bcos i have more than 8 months of warenty period.Still i m confuse about rooting in phone. Is rooting will affect the warenty? if yes means, without root how can we downgrade?

Sep 15, 2015I currently have Galaxy S6 G920FD. I prevously I am on 5.0.2 with CSC:GLB (Country:Philippines, Network:Globe). I successfuly flashed the French 5.1.1 ROM. Now I flashed back to my native Globe 5.1.1. Problem is the CSC is Thailand and not Globe. How do I change the CSC without root? Tried going to Recovery mode doing full cache wipe and full reset but still it sets the Thailand CSC.
