View 6 RepliesAnyway as usual I don't do lot of research (I'm stupid I guess), so first I flash CF-Auto-Root via Odin and... surprise phone is stuck on boot logo, so I don't panic too much , I install TWRP via Odin and everything is ok, then I download a stock firmware 3483.1 MB and try to flash it via odin but oh surprise, it fails, on the phone screen say
W REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 2 BINARY: 1
and on odin :
Odin engine v(ID:3.1005)..
File analysis..
SetupConnection..
Initialzation..
Get PIT for mapping..
Firmware update start..
SingleDownload.
sboot.bin
NAND Write Start!!
FAIL!
Complete(Write) operation failed.
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
It's a SM-G920I
my s2 is stuck in download mode, am trying to flash a stock firmware in odin but odin is stuck on <ID:0/004> cache.img
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm an E72 user and I'm not happy with the phone. I'm using the 031.023 FW. I'm using Google Mail, Nimbuzz and Ovi Contacts mainly. I also have google search installed and running in background. I used to have MfE but removed that account because I thought it is the problem that slows the phone however I'm getting random stalls. If I have 2-3 programs open at the same time, theres a very high chance of phone stalling for 1-2 mins. I can get back to homescreen but I cant access the applications running. When I type a number, phone lags a lot. I have like 450 contacts but It was a lot faster when I was using a WinMo phone previously. Do u have such issues ? I did a hard reset before installing the firmware and all software installs are on the memory card. Any options?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated 3 weeks ago my E72's firmware, after i done this my phone became a "little" slow.
If I use my video camera the image gets to be stuck every 5 seconds, when I watch the video on my pc or even on the E72, the sound is good but the images are most of the time mixed up or stuck...
also: when i put up a connection like making a call or browsing on the internet, the time it takes to connect to the server is ALOT longer...the camera and the connection worked a bit better before the firmware update...(BTW this is my first bad xp with Nokia, normally a business phone is close to bug free. This is close to no-wurth-selling...)
I have a SM-G920F phone and I recently flashed the UK version of Lollipop to be able to participate in Marshmallow beta program. I didn't like it because it didn't support my gear VR and I went back to Lollipop. Now I have the UK version installed on my phone and I can't get rid of the Android 6.0 beta OTA software update notification.
So I would like to flash the Nordic countries firmware but my pc is broken and I don't have admin permissions for my pc at work. It there a way to flash it without a pc?
I should have read this forum before I jumped the ship to upgrade to the stock ICS. Now its nothing short by hell for me...
1) Can't detect picture and audio files occasionally
2) Application handcent not able to display contact pictures where are syn from facebook
3) VERY LAG
4) lock screen will strangely change by itself. I had set it as clock, but always sometimes show weather instead...
5) Smaller notification icons
I am sure this list can go on and on, but how to downgrade the firmware back to the previous one. It was gingerbread right? I have to be very honest, I know nothing about rooting, and my HTC Sensation has always been on stock OS only.
first off is my problem with ics which i installed the other day after watching a "how to install" video on Internet. got it installed and working fine but as you may or may not know its not official update so there was alot of issues like the phone would turn itself off and other annoying things.now i want it back to stock (not bothered about the orange bloatware that was on it). i am new to all this flashing/installing.

I have the S6 with 5.0.2 and CSC ITV (AP:G920FXXU1AOCV, CP:G920FXXU1AOCW, CSC:G920FXXU1AOCN). Since I leave in Greece, I tried to flash through odin the Stock firmware with CSC EUR but I had fails all 4 times. Tried with both odin 3.0.9 and 3.10. The problem seems to be the hidden file in the end, because everything goes fine until that moment. The result is soft brick. What should I do?

I tried renegade rom and wanted to go back to stock, but I can't seem to get rid of the boot/splash image it puts when you turn on your phone.
Is there something special I need to do when I flash stock firmware with odin?
Also, as I have sprint, should I be selected RTN for sprint? I had done that, was that bad?
It seems telling twrp to do advanced wipe of system and a bunch of other stuff that apparently is not normally wiped did it.
I flashed my LG G3 Because i felt that the sound was not working anymore and that it can be a software issue which it was a hard ware issue ( loud speaker wasnt connected because of screw) Anyways preformed the stock FW Flash following the guide that highonandroid provided to go completely back to a stock rom. After flashing i restart phone and the boot takes forever until it finally hangs on the tmobile screen. there was a point where i left it over night to see if it will turn on but it still hung for a good 8 hours. Ive done everything i can which can be that i preformed atleast hundreds of hard resets but nothing is working.. there was a point where i did manage to turn it on then i tried updating to lolipop and when it reboots the bootloop is back..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am on the latest firmware BOI1 and i decided to root my sprint s6 the other day to try and do a sim unlock. so i am trying now to return it to stock. i downloaded the correct firmware and used the latest odin3(i believe it is the latest) and the md5 check would do good but when i tried to flash the actual firmware it kept hanging on "setupConnection" and fails
Wiped cache and factory reset from recovery. It has hung at getting pit now the last couple times. I re downloaded the firmware directly from sammobile website this time.
My s5's stock music app keeps on crashing when trying to go to other section and I am stuck at playlists. I tried to clear data but it didnt work. Can it be fixed without factory reset?
Current android version : latest 4.4.2 build
1. I have knox tripped
2. When i flash stock with smart switch i get stuck on samsung boot logo
3. Same thing with odin....stuck on samsung boot logo
4. To get the phone working and boot to desktop i flash custom kernel like unikernel
5. The problem is i want to use stock kernel i want to flash with smart switch and i want to get updates from samsung like i was before because when i use unikernel and i try to updates phone said your rom is modified...
Is there any chance to bypass samsung logo without flashing custom kernel...
Hey, my battery meter (the stock ICS one) is stuck at 90%.Did a 7 hour trip yestereday with several phone calls and when I went to system, battery it showed 90% after like 12 hours off the charger, including a hour of phone calls and I know that's not right. The phone calls do not show up as taking any power. This morning after several reboots still shows 90%.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI couldn't find this discussion anywhere. I went to open an .avi video, checked video player instead of Rockplayer and now I'm stuck with that as default. I can't play videos in Rockplayer now. Does anyone know how to reset the default?
View 3 Replies View RelatedCurrently flashing back to stock with the steps given by Heisenberg's step by step guide, number 11, how to flash the factory image.
At the command fastboot flash system C:anglerimagessystem.img and it has sat here for over an hour and a half now with the output of writing 'system'. If I'm not mistaken, my phone is basically bricked at this point, as all I have written to the phone right now is recovery and bootloader really, and since I flashed the stock bootloader that means it is relocked.
Is there any way I can unlock it from here and then flash TWRP again, and then restore one of my backups of my 6P to at least get it working again?
Battery went to 0%, plugged in the charger into phone from wall outlet, and I get this screen which I can't power off to get out of: ""Firmware Update: Do not unplug the USB connection until the process is complete."

Got my bold 9700 a month ago and finally decided to update to the latest firmware using the desktop manager.
Everything was going all fine and dandy but it is currently stuck on task 12 of 12 (restore device data) and hasnt moved for 3 hrs now...I don't want to unplug the device as it says unplugging may render some data unusable!
I have a Bell Blackberry Bold 9700 and I just switch to Rogers! Would it be *better if I flash the rogers firmware on the phone, or leave it with the bell firmware? The rogers one is .351 and the bell one is .423 ...I guess I was wondering if the rogers would be better since i'm on the Rogers network

View 106 Replies View RelatedI Ran a firmware update through nokia pc suite as I have done numerous times. Only time time my N97 is now screwed! Lost all the home page functions like apps and options and would default to the menu screen and whilst trying to connect back to PC Suite to try and re run it now has frozen in the "Nokia" Loading screen. Is there a manual way to reset the phone to factory setting?
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I was rejoicing when I found out Nokia outed the N97's latest firmware. Among the enhancements was "improved music player." The moment I got home from work, I set out to update my N97 to 21.0.045.
To my disappointment, I don't see what was improved from 20.x.x version. And to make things even more disappointing, gapless playback is still not a function I can turn on.SERIOUSLY!It is 2010. Can we get gapless music playback functionality in the music player? Or is live music something Finnish people don't listen to? I cannot imagine that I'm the only person in the world who thinks this is an important function in a music player. Am I?!?
The N91 didn't have it. Fine. It was the first major multimedia phone from Nokia.
The N95 didn't have it. What? Okay, maybe they're still working on it.
The 5800 XpressMusic didn't have it. Wait. A marketed music phone doesn't have this basic feature which exists on pretty much decade old **bleep** mp3 players?
The N97 still doesn't have it. Seriosly. Somebody? Do Nokia engineers not listen to music at all? Nobody at Espoo listens to live music?
I've read that there is a firmware upgrade that would allow me to use the new Ovi maps with free driving directions and various other nice tweaks and so on to make the phone much more reliable. I'm locked in to 3 at the moment - and I could unlock from them for a £15 fee - but I don't know whether this will then allow me to upgrade the firmware to the latest verision?
View 6 Replies View RelatedA new firmware has been made available for the N97. I updated yesterdat & its 22.0.110 now. NO new features added. If you know whats new in this release, please reply or post a link for the changelog.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy n97 is nearly always critical for space on the main c drive of the phone. Is it true there is a new firmware release that sorts this and leave alot more space on the main drive? If it is true- when will it be on general release? I have seen some sites suggesting some sort of 'illegal' fix which I dont want any part of.
