I updated by changing product code to one I found on here but miss the myfaves and such of T-Mobile software. Any way to revert back to the old T-Mobile 5.91 firmware? I tried putting my product code back to original and it wont let me reinstall just says you have latest software V.7.01.
I own an R800x, on 2.3.4, build number 4.0.2.E.0.57 (dunno if that's important), and subscribe to Verizon. Like most every Verizon subscriber who owns an Xperia play, I'm no longer able to sync with Google or pretty much anything else since the most recent update. I've tried talking to both Sony and Verizon customer support and they've both been equally useless, telling me to wait for an update which could be anywhere from a week to several months away, depending on who you talk to.Since I'd rather not wait for an update that may or may not be coming, I'd like to know if it's possible to revert back to 2.3.3, which worked just fine.
My Xperia Mini ST 15i, has become sluggish after ICS upgrade. It takes a while before the dialier appears, and games like Temple Run are now erratic. Plus the battery drains like anything. Is there a fix, or is it better to revert back to Gingerbread; or Gellybean is gonna come soon?
I should have read this forum before I jumped the ship to upgrade to the stock ICS. Now its nothing short by hell for me...
1) Can't detect picture and audio files occasionally 2) Application handcent not able to display contact pictures where are syn from facebook 3) VERY LAG 4) lock screen will strangely change by itself. I had set it as clock, but always sometimes show weather instead... 5) Smaller notification icons
I am sure this list can go on and on, but how to downgrade the firmware back to the previous one. It was gingerbread right? I have to be very honest, I know nothing about rooting, and my HTC Sensation has always been on stock OS only.
I am in some desperate need of guidance. I am thinking about importing a vodafone branded W910i to the U.S. and I need to figure out how to revert it back to factory settings so I can use it on At&t? Does anyone know how this could be done? Is it possible? Could I still use EDGE on U.S. networks?
After updating to the new firmware (400.) I have the following issues:
* SMS text messages which contain access point settings for my provide do not open... I get the message that the message format is not supported. I could easily open the message before, and applying the settings using the pin code
* wifi access hangs, it connects but then hangs. There is no way to switch it off. I have to turn the phone off and on again to get it going
is there any way to revert to the factory firmware or something like that?
Got a 3G and it's painfully slow on 4 so I'm trying to revert but I aways get some obscure message saying iTunes can't read it... turns out I needed to backup something called SHSH blobs which I learnt about after day late and a dollar short. Is it still possible to downgrade by any other means? Please help... it feels like running Snow Leopard on a G3 ... I'm guessing.. no actual experience of such.
I have bold 9700 running os6 but I want to get back my 2g only option in mobile network options. I use BB 9700 of H3G UK. In OS5, it has 2g mode, 3g mode and 2g&3g mode but there is no 2g mode in Mobile network option in OS6. I have tried to reinstall OS6 and nothing change.
Is there a better way to do get the 2g only option back?? Don't tell me that I have to downgrade to OS5
I was messing around testing something with Wifi -but I really don't like to run on that often due to battery issues. I changed it back - but there is one setting "grayed out" that I am unable to "uncheck." See print screen...How do I get to that grayed out setting so I can change it?
I updated my phone and it has been over the 30 days. Do I need to restore it? I do not have a good signal at the office and would always change my phone to roam only. The new version does not let me do that. Any suggestions?
I link my iPhone 4 to my HD radio in my vehicle all the time to listen to my song library or to other audio such as Pandora or iTunesU. An update for the standard iPhone music app loaded recently, and my radio is no longer able to communicate with my iPhone. Could the music app update have caused this? If so, is it possible to revert back to the previous version?
I have linked other devices to the radio to rule out the chance that the radio is the problem. I have also done a hard reset on both my iPhone and my radio. Before the update, my radio recognized the iPhone as an iPod.
The menu view of my nokia e71 has changed radically. the installations, connectivity, media, tools etc all the folders have disappeared and all their contents (buetooth, infrared, gps, realplayer, recorder etc) are cluttering up the menu. i want all the folders back with their contents in them. what should i do to get back the normal menu view?
I have a T-Mo bb 8320 and I upgraded my OS to 4.5 couple months ago. My phone has been kinda acting slow and i want to see if wiping it would help improve it a bit. If I do the handheld wipe, will it revert back to OS 4.2 ?? IF it does I'm not going to do it then.
In reading up on iPhone firmware v3.1.2 seems preferred if one wants to unlock. In shopping for a new (to me) iPhone most seem to have 3.1.3 - the unlock procedure for this does not seem for the fainthearted. So, my question is where I might find a DIY guide for reverting to older firmware (i.e. 3.1.2) - assuming such is possible.
I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I've searched here and other forums looking for a V8 512MB T-Mobile stock firmware (UK model). The reason is that the phone is going back to Motorola for repair and I think the warranty police would prefer to see the original firmware instead of the China version I'm currently running.
Anyone know where I can get this? I have a touch thats having issues, my other works fine.. Any way I can download and reflash the FW, or is it possible to extract the FW from my working touch?Google results are minimal and no help.. My Touch thats screwed up just says "No Radio" during the boot sequence
Anyone know what the lastest stock firmware for the V3 is? The last time I flashed my phone was almost 2 years ago and I was wondering if there would be any benefit to upgrading to the lastest firmware.
My T-mobile V3R is restarting itself, and while it is restarting, it is wiping the memory. So, all my phone book entries, pictures, everything is erased. I am thinking it is firmware corruption. This phone has never seen water, and it's been in a plastic shell since I bought it.I need to know if there is a way to get the Motorola Software Update program to reinstall the firmware, or if there is a reliable source I can download the firmware from. My S/W is the R3443U2...17R. T-Mobile Stock version.
My phone changed from a full keyboard to more like a regular phone and I cannot find the setting to change it back.I have pressed the menu key and then options, but it does not give me any keyboard options. How do it change it!?
first off is my problem with ics which i installed the other day after watching a "how to install" video on Internet. got it installed and working fine but as you may or may not know its not official update so there was alot of issues like the phone would turn itself off and other annoying things.now i want it back to stock (not bothered about the orange bloatware that was on it). i am new to all this flashing/installing.
i got a 1.1.1 off a guy today and it has all kinds of apps like games and stuff that i want to get rid of. also there are a bunch of sounds i dont like set for everything, but i go into customize and hit restore to backup and nothing changes. under installer there is nothing to uninstall, so i hooked it to ibricker and it dont show any apps there either, how do i get this thing back to stock form but remail unlocked on 1.1.1?
2nd question, somehow he has it so on the home screen you can slide the page sideways for more icons instead of up and down like on my other iphone with customize, is this something in the new customize 1.20? i only have 1.13 on my other phone.
