Nokia :: How To Revert Back / Change From WiFi Settings
Jun 6, 2010
I was messing around testing something with Wifi -but I really don't like to run on that often due to battery issues. I changed it back - but there is one setting "grayed out" that I am unable to "uncheck." See print screen...How do I get to that grayed out setting so I can change it?
i've recently started having problems with ovi maps and it's internet settings. i'm not sure when the problem started but whenever i try to access internet settings (because i want to change my connection from wifi to wap) the program just exits back to the nokia menu however all the other menus work fine. i've made a short video to show you exactly what i mean. http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=gmush9luyom as you can see as soon as i press to access the internet menu it kicks me out, but i can access the navigation tab just fine then i tried to go accross to internet settings and it kicks me out again. i have already tried deleting cities folder and .qf file to no avail. i have also tried to go offline before accessing internet settings which didn't work either. i even installed nokia maps 2.0 which wasn't for this phone but installed just wouldn't work then reinstalled ovi 3 to no avail either!
i bought an iphone from a friend and activated it with my wireless provider, but I need to setup some APN settings, and all information I found says that i can do it via WIFI, but my iphone has no wifi, in settings the wifi appears grayed out. I have Iphone 4.
Is it possible to go back to OLD FIRMWARE? It seems so laggy right now specially on the UI my xperia z3 compact is alot smoother does all the xperia z3+ users experience this? and why is it sometimes 2 of the cores says "Stopped" when i view it on CPU-Z? Is that normal or my unit is faulty?
I need to revert back from this Lollipop 5.0 update before I throw my phone out of a window and run over it with my car! Any ways to download the old Firmware??
I own an R800x, on 2.3.4, build number 4.0.2.E.0.57 (dunno if that's important), and subscribe to Verizon. Like most every Verizon subscriber who owns an Xperia play, I'm no longer able to sync with Google or pretty much anything else since the most recent update. I've tried talking to both Sony and Verizon customer support and they've both been equally useless, telling me to wait for an update which could be anywhere from a week to several months away, depending on who you talk to.Since I'd rather not wait for an update that may or may not be coming, I'd like to know if it's possible to revert back to 2.3.3, which worked just fine.
I Have ios 7.1.2 on my iPhone 4 and I was told that it was not intended for iOS 7. How can I revert it? Because it's pretty much a useless apple product now. It's always freezing and really want iOS 6 back
I have installed unikernel on my g925t s6 edge regular edge. Now i need to revert to stock kernel but i can't. If i do a fresh install of the latest build OI1 from odin the flash procedure complete successfully but the phone after that wont boot because it stuck at Samsung logo powered by android. And when i go to download mode Recovery mode is Samsung official and System status is custom. I tried to factory reset with recovery but nothing.
I have also tried to fully wipe the phone with twrp but nothing. After i flash the official lastest build with odin the system status is still custom and the phone is stuck at Samsung logo. I have to flash this kernel again in order to boot the phone. But i need that phone works with stock kernel and stock system. I also did an efs folder wipe, which means i have flashed another efs with odin and after that imei said unknown. Than i have repair imei and have my phone back to function. But i cannot revert to stock...
Got a 3G and it's painfully slow on 4 so I'm trying to revert but I aways get some obscure message saying iTunes can't read it... turns out I needed to backup something called SHSH blobs which I learnt about after day late and a dollar short. Is it still possible to downgrade by any other means? Please help... it feels like running Snow Leopard on a G3 ... I'm guessing.. no actual experience of such.
I have bold 9700 running os6 but I want to get back my 2g only option in mobile network options. I use BB 9700 of H3G UK. In OS5, it has 2g mode, 3g mode and 2g&3g mode but there is no 2g mode in Mobile network option in OS6. I have tried to reinstall OS6 and nothing change.
Is there a better way to do get the 2g only option back?? Don't tell me that I have to downgrade to OS5
My Xperia Mini ST 15i, has become sluggish after ICS upgrade. It takes a while before the dialier appears, and games like Temple Run are now erratic. Plus the battery drains like anything. Is there a fix, or is it better to revert back to Gingerbread; or Gellybean is gonna come soon?
I've downloaded the windows recovery toolkit. It'll let me download the firmware (1.6gb roughly) but then it tells me that it can't find my phone after it finishes the download.
I made the mistake of putting the tech preview on my main driver and my battery is dying ridiculously fast (among other instabilities)...
My Iphone will not revert back from silent mode. It will play when i am scrolling through ringtones but when a text or incoming call comes in it just vibrates.
HTC one M8 lockcreen. After I update to latest software I lost the ability to swipe right beside the weather symbol in lock screen to open Google keep. How I can get that option back?
I just got my Z3(D6653) a week ago. As i was exploring my phone, i bumped into the "testing" setting by dialing *#*#4636#*#*. I went into phone info tapped the menu icon on upper right corner and "accidentally" selected USA band! There goes my signal, gone! I'm from Philippines and my provider is Globe telecom. So, how will i revert back my radio band?
Used a File app to make up some photo albums for tt and Le Mans classic and in doing so I have lost the ability to open up photo with Nokia camera beta and look at info or even revert back to original photo if the photo has been zoomed. How to get original photos back.
I have a couple pictures in my camera roll that I'm assigning to contacts but every time I sync my phone, they revert back to older pictures. What do I have to do to make them stick?
I link my iPhone 4 to my HD radio in my vehicle all the time to listen to my song library or to other audio such as Pandora or iTunesU. An update for the standard iPhone music app loaded recently, and my radio is no longer able to communicate with my iPhone. Could the music app update have caused this? If so, is it possible to revert back to the previous version?
I have linked other devices to the radio to rule out the chance that the radio is the problem. I have also done a hard reset on both my iPhone and my radio. Before the update, my radio recognized the iPhone as an iPod.
I was wondering if there was a way to revert back to the Froyo color scheme?. I not really happy with the white background/black writing...of the lastest gingerbread colours
I'd much prefer the old black background/white writing
Few months back i had installed the Android M preview and then to root the device i had installed a custom Kernel on my Google Nexus 5. Now i have upgraded to the stock MRA58N 6.0.0 ROM manually using the factory images by google. Now i want to know, how can i revert back to the stock kernel. And is flashing stock automatically reverts back to stock kernel? How will i root again on Android 6.0.0 ...
My phone is a Nokia 1020. I installed the Windows 10 preview. I found that the camera didn't work properly so I used the recovery tool to revert back to Windows 8.1. Now my phone thinks it is a Nokia 909 instead of a 1020.
