Google Nexus 5 :: Cellphone Starts To Ring Randomly With No Notification On Screen
Apr 23, 2015I have a Nexus 5 32gb for 1 year and 3 months. Since last week my cellphone starts to ring randomly (the ringtone of my alarm) with no notification on screen. It only goes off if I press hold or pressing the screen if it is unlocked. I have put all volumes to zero, set the priority to No interruptions but it still rings randomly (my house, my class, everywhere).

I can't even noticed it has vibrated (since it vibrates only once, comparing with a phone call). I have some programs like skype and viber which also can't listend if someone calls me.

Feb 12, 2010I cant remember the manual setup menu code (like ## something something, send) for Samsung first of all, so if someone could help me out with that I know I can do the rest myself.. But it was a phone once used for US cell and I want to use it on my Alltel plan. When I put the ESN on the verison website it keeps saying cannot activate the phone, but I am assuming its cuz I totally need to enter the manual setup first. Anyone know what that is? I've been searching on the forum for a while and cant seem to find it. After reading more I think I need to flash the phone to Alltel. Mar 6, 2015I used the factory reset option in my Sony Xperia Z3 and the process is never ending it keeps in the android logo doing the factory reset and it has been like that for like 4 hours now. it should take only 5 minutes but I dunno what is happening.I waited the process to end for 4 hours and after nothing else happened I decided to unplug the charger and wait for it to run out of battery. Then I turned it on again and nothing changed, it went back to the factory reset process with the android logo.
Then I tried pressing the hard reset button located where the 64 GB SD Card is, and still nothing after turning it on again. Once again the cell phone restarted the factory reset process and right now another four horus passed and nothing.
The phone is heating so I am using a laptop cooler to cool the phone and avoid the heating process that is caused by the factory reset process.I still havent tried to remove the SD card.and tried to restart the process.

Apr 19, 2012My best friend had his cellphone service turned off a few weeks ago and as of yesterday all my texts *to* him are turning into SMS. They aren't being delivered as iMessages. Those messages I've sent to other iPhone users (ie. my sister) aren't doing this consistent change over. I'm confused because 1.I've received all of the messages *from* him and 2. Isn't iMessage supposed to work between iOS devices regardless? How can we remedy this? He won't be able to restore his cellphone service for another few months and the primary on his plan is going to have their provider recycle the number.

Aug 13, 2010I just found that it's not just OS6.It's better on BOLD because pressing "end" button while in Standby mode will just wake the device.Is there Standby mode in OS6? on Torch? When you are composing email/txt msg, once you touch the "send" icon on touchscreen the msg will just be sent immediately. I hate this because I might hit it randomly. Is there any way to add a confirmation window there?

When someone calls me, my phone rings once and then there is a long delay before it rings again. My daughter has the Bold and she uses the same ringtone and doesn't have this problem. Dec 28, 2015I received my Nexus 6 from Amazon. It seems as though the top speaker is considerably louder than the bottom. When I flip the phone upside down, it is still the top speaker that is louder.
When I turn the phone to landscape mode, it is the right speaker that it louder. I flip the orientation to where the former right speaker is now the left and vice versa. It's the same problem where the right speaker (the former left speaker) is still louder.
