I was wondering if the speaker on the bottom of the iPhone 4 is any louder than that of it's older models?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a 3G right now, and I wish the speaker were louder. I listen to podcasts through the speaker instead of headphones sometimes.
Does anyone know if the external speaker on the 3GS was louder than the 3G, and if the 4 will be louder than either one?
Those of you who had the 3GS, and especially the 3G, and listened to podcasts or music with the external speaker, is the iPhone 4 speaker louder? Is it clearer?
What are your first impressions? This is one of the things I really hope is improved.
is there anyway to make the voice any louder? i pushed the volume buttons on the side all the way up and its still too quiet
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just received my Z5 and noticed that my top speaker is about twice as loud as my bottom speaker. It's ruining the 'stereo' effect of the phone, as when listening to media one speaker is overpowering the other.I'm assuming this could easily be fixed with a software update ...
View 9 Replies View RelatedI received my Nexus 6 from Amazon. It seems as though the top speaker is considerably louder than the bottom. When I flip the phone upside down, it is still the top speaker that is louder.
When I turn the phone to landscape mode, it is the right speaker that it louder. I flip the orientation to where the former right speaker is now the left and vice versa. It's the same problem where the right speaker (the former left speaker) is still louder.
Since I got my Z2 earlier this year I haven't been overly impressed with the speak phone cababilities of the phone.Â

For a couple of months now I have noticed the bottom speaker is noticeably louder than the top one. At first I thought this may be normal but now I don't think it is.Â
Any way to make the in call volume louder permanently? Mine is very low even with the volume all the way up and there doesn't seem to be a difference when i hit the extra volume command.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI see there are a dozen or so Text Alert Tone options on the S2, but none of them are very loud at full volume. My old Nokia used to make a really loud "dong-dong" whenever a Text arrived, but I'm finding it easy to miss Text arrivals on the S2.

I can't even noticed it has vibrated (since it vibrates only once, comparing with a phone call). I have some programs like skype and viber which also can't listend if someone calls me.
how to make better volume for this type of operations??
I just got the device and when I make calls my words echo back to my speaker and the speaker gets really hot.

I have a curve 8520, it is nearly two years old, I went to make a call and the speaker keeps flicking to headset and back, I have never connected a headset so it cannot be the settings, has anyone else had this problem if so what was the remedy to put it right.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI can only periodically make calls normally by placing call and then putting phone up to my head and listening to phone ring, and person answer. For whatever reason then the phone will behave erattically. It will only let me make a call using speakerphone.I cannot put phone up to my head and listen through earpiece, and the phone doesn't black out when putting up to my head.I guess the proximity sensor doesn't work or is buggy. Also, sometimes when I double tap on the Home button/key to start voice dialing I should be able to hear the phone ask me what I want to do, but I can't hear anything but I can see on the screen that It is asking me a question - but can't hear anything as I normally should. Then, a few hours later it all works beautifully.I have rebooted the phone, taken out the battery and put it back in, hard reset the phone.I even have just now taken my screen protector off and the phone worked for a few calls as it normally should - i put phone up to my ear and screen blacked out and I could hear other person on earpiece. Then about an hour later none of that worked.I could only use the speaker phone.the phone didn't black out when making a call and putting phone up to my ear, and the double tap home button/key invoked the voice dial interface but i couldn't hear the voice/phone prompt like normal. and confirmation of my commands
The level 2 tech support at moto didn't help with any more troubleshooting than what I have already done.Which is: restart phone...reset phone to factory settings (hard reset) wipe all data off phone...taken off screen protector...none of this worked and produced consistent results to say that any of these procedures produced a positive change in the phone.I am within my 30 day trial period of this phone purchased from Motorola.
I bought bold 9790 four months back during June'12. When i make a call, handset speaker is not working and i am not able to listen to the caller when it is in handset mode. When i opt for speaker mode, i can listen to the caller. Is there any option which would've got changed by mistake OR is it speaker related problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't wait to get my new iPhone. This 3G is ready to be replaced. I haven't seen anything about the speakers and we probably won't until June 7th; but have there been any rumors about it. The low volume when using the speakerphone just doesn't cut it for me.

I saw a way to make your phone vibrate louder/longer but I'm not sure if it was here. Any1 have info or a link on how to do it? Google failed me :/I also read here about a data limit of 5gigs even though you have an 'unlimited' data plan? Is this true? Does it apply to all iPhones on an account or is it individual? (Maybe this is for other countries? I'm just covering my bases)
View 8 Replies View RelatedI wanted to know, why is the ringtones audio way louder than the actual song playing on my iphone music section? For example, If I have "Audio1.mp3" playing on my iphone at full volume on the speaker, no headphones, it's pretty low, howeaver, when I play that same song "Audio1.mp3" as my ringtone, same source, same audio file, only cut to 30 seconds, it's way louder than the actual song playing on my phone's music library?

I just updated my phone to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1. The max ringtone volume under 5.0.1 was much louder than it is on 5.1.1. What gives?I have restored just to make sure the update didn't go wrong. Everything works fine except the ringtone volume.

Let's say I have my ringer set to 5/10 (in terms of loudness) and I recently watched a video at 9/10 loudness.Â
It seems that no matter what I set my ringer to with the volume buttons, the notifications are using that 9/10 volume level instead of the ringer volume level.Â
I've turned the phone off and back on but that doesn't fix the problem. Not sure how to replicate this problem, as not always does it present itself.Â
One obvious workaround would be to watch a video (or perhaps play music) and lower that volume level, but that's just ghetto for such an expensive device that's supposed to just work.
Was messing around with iMovie today. When doing a transition between a video and a picture the backing track virtually doubles in volume!

Does enyone know how i can set the cellphone to ring louder, at maximum, in first 2-3 seconds ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo when I am playing music and go to wake it up, the volume gets louder. Does this make sense, or is this normal? Audio is still good, just odd. I wasn't sure if there was a setting or not? When I had a M8 once before, I'm not sure if I remember it doing that. Just wanted to make sure I'm not having some weird defect in my phone or something.
