I can't wait to get my new iPhone. This 3G is ready to be replaced. I haven't seen anything about the speakers and we probably won't until June 7th; but have there been any rumors about it. The low volume when using the speakerphone just doesn't cut it for me.

I saw a way to make your phone vibrate louder/longer but I'm not sure if it was here. Any1 have info or a link on how to do it? Google failed me :/I also read here about a data limit of 5gigs even though you have an 'unlimited' data plan? Is this true? Does it apply to all iPhones on an account or is it individual? I wanted to know, why is the ringtones audio way louder than the actual song playing on my iphone music section? For example, If I have "Audio1.mp3" playing on my iphone at full volume on the speaker, no headphones, it's pretty low, howeaver, when I play that same song "Audio1.mp3" as my ringtone, same source, same audio file, only cut to 30 seconds, it's way louder than the actual song playing on my phone's music library?

I just updated my phone to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1. The max ringtone volume under 5.0.1 was much louder than it is on 5.1.1. What gives?I have restored just to make sure the update didn't go wrong. Everything works fine except the ringtone volume.

Let's say I have my ringer set to 5/10 (in terms of loudness) and I recently watched a video at 9/10 loudness.Â
It seems that no matter what I set my ringer to with the volume buttons, the notifications are using that 9/10 volume level instead of the ringer volume level.Â
I've turned the phone off and back on but that doesn't fix the problem. Not sure how to replicate this problem, as not always does it present itself.Â
One obvious workaround would be to watch a video (or perhaps play music) and lower that volume level, but that's just ghetto for such an expensive device that's supposed to just work.
Was messing around with iMovie today. When doing a transition between a video and a picture the backing track virtually doubles in volume!

View 8 Replies View RelatedI received my Nexus 6 from Amazon. It seems as though the top speaker is considerably louder than the bottom. When I flip the phone upside down, it is still the top speaker that is louder.
When I turn the phone to landscape mode, it is the right speaker that it louder. I flip the orientation to where the former right speaker is now the left and vice versa. It's the same problem where the right speaker (the former left speaker) is still louder.
Since I got my Z2 earlier this year I haven't been overly impressed with the speak phone cababilities of the phone.Â

For a couple of months now I have noticed the bottom speaker is noticeably louder than the top one. At first I thought this may be normal but now I don't think it is.Â
Any way to make the in call volume louder permanently? Mine is very low even with the volume all the way up and there doesn't seem to be a difference when i hit the extra volume command.

Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?
