I have an HTC Touch Pro that I just bought a few weeks ago. It had a full charge this morning. It's about 9:30 and it's already completely dead. I talked for fifteen minutes on the way to work and I've checked email a few times. But that's about all I've done with it. Why is the battery dying so fast?
View 2 RepliesMy battrery has been running low quickly . For instance, I charged it yesterday and when it was done charging I made a phone call. I was on the phone for about 11/2 minutes. After I got off I looked at my battery and it was down 1/2 a brick. I've tried removing the battery for awhile, but it doesn't seem to help. I talk on it a lot through the day so I can understand it needing charged at night, but 1 minute off the charger and it's already losing power? I don't use the internet that much, but I do play games. The phone is about a month old. Any advice?

With a MT tester app, when I move my finger fast, it acts like my first finger was the second. Is it a hardware or a software issue? It was on GB, and yesterday I upgraded to ICS, and it is too.
My device battery draining so first. Its like 2/3 hours on screen time but stand by time is fair (like day long). Using lolipop 5.0.1 ... If it shows last 3 hour use 9% means last 3 hour screen time was zero.

- Push Exchange sync over WLAN (if available) or UMTS;
- VoIP Client, always registered.
The device worked about 16 hours; after wards was the battery empty. Well, I had two GSM/UMTS conversations - 5 minutes each - and I tested the OVI maps - maybe 15 minutes navigation with A-GPS.There is one more thing: the device gets pretty warm.The phone was RMAd back to amazon.de. I've got a new one: it was pretty the same.My question: am I unlucky or is the E52 generally so? Should I try once more, I mean, a new delivery?My old E51, which is unfortunately already Ebay'ed, did work with the same load at least 3 days. And, don't forget, it has a smaller battery than the E52.
I used to be able to listen to mp3 for hrs and now my battery would run out in a couple hrs. Is it because I have a lot of files in my memory card? (I have an 8G memory card) or is it because of the new software?
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I leave it on standby for 8h I notice that it uses 40% of the battery even-though wifi and Bluetooth are off. How come? One time I left for 2-3h. Bluetooth and wifi on and even-though Bluetooth wasn't used (only gets through when a call comes in while I'm driving) and the internet just a little bit it used almost 50% by the time I was back. I'm pretty sure thats not normal.I wonder if the battery doctor app will do any improvement to that.

And it's the same whether I'm using the old or one of my new batteries, so it's obviously not the battery itself. Even if I don't use it, it'll go to red in 6-8 hours, where it used to hold a charge for a couple of days, even with heavy use. I've checked the terminals and they're clean.

I have a 3GS IPhone on 5.0.1. It's been working well for several months, no issues. This past weekend I dropped the phone, but luckly there was no physical damage, and it seemed to work fine afterward. But I noticed that it started to drain the batter much faster than it had before that. I go from 100% down to zero in about 6 hours just by having it sit in my pocket locked. It's also noticably hotter than before.
